"Anything you want, love?" he smiled, grazing her knuckles with his thumb.

He caught a glimpse of the page right before she snapped the airline's magazine shut, shoving it back into the front pocket.

"Nope," she replied, reciprocating the gesture by leaning into his shoulder.

"Really?"

She nodded in reassurance.

"Well, tell me if you do, okay?" he presses his lips to her forehead gently.

"I need the bathroom, better head there before we take off," he murmurs before pressing another kiss — up her temple this time.

When he was out of sight, she had the magazine back in her hands. Gazing at the simple silver bracelet she was looking at before, a tiny gasp of awe escaped her lips. It was so pretty, with dainty little charms and rhinestones adorning the thin chain. She took another glance at the huge $102 on the page and her smile slipped off, replaced by a slight frown.

He was back, and though she was pleased, she couldn't help but want a longer look at the bracelet. Not that she would tell him. 

He already spoils me enough as it is.

As he seated himself, he looked over, at the open magazine on her lap.

"Hey, that one's pretty nice!" he remarks, pointing at the design that had caught her eye.

"This one? It's alright, I guess." 

She eyed it fleetingly, making it seem as though it was just like any other design — though it wasn't. He knew, if not just from the way her eyes were avoiding his gaze.

"If you say so," he ruffles her hair and grins gently again.

Two hours into the flight, and she had fallen asleep. "That's nothing unusual," he mumbles, an amused smile quirked on his lips.

Pulling out the magazine, he flipped the pages quickly, eyes scanning just as fast, for the one they saw. Landing on the familiar page, he nearly exclaimed in relief.

He raised his arm, signaling for some help from the flight attendant.

"Excuse me, could you help me get this one, please?" he flashed a polite smile.

The attendant returned moments later, with a little blue box in tow. After he was finally done with the payment, he tucked it into his pocket, satisfaction rushing through his very pores. A smug glimmer shone in his eyes.

I'll give it to her the minute she opens her eyes!

Turning to her, his eyes turn gentle; his gaze soft and adoring. He brushes the hair out of her face, and once again, presses his lips to her cheek.
