The lock clicked and I pushed the heavy door open — to be met with an uncanny silence. Wasn't Chanyeol supposed to be home by now?

"Chanyeollie?" I questioned the seemingly empty apartment.

Apparent shuffling of feet, dragging of heavy objects and a muffled yelp of frustration was all I got in return.

"...Yeol?" I asked again, peeking into our shared room.

My eyes widened. 

Clothes were strewn over the wooden floorboards, and a stray little rillakuma plush was left isolated in a corner of the room. My gaze shifted to three messily filled suitcases lying pathetically beside Chanyeol, where he looked at me with wide, puppy eyes. He had been previously preoccupied with stuffing a pair of what seemed like this tenth pair of shoes into the case nearest to him. God knew how there was no trace of clothing in the suitcases when twenty Snapbacks were already placed in one.

"...yeess?" he answered, a sheepish look in his eyes.

I sigh.

"Need help?"

His head dipped eagerly, an adorable smile spreading on his lips as his dimple appeared in his cheek.

How could I refuse?

"Say, Yeol? Why aren't the tags even off yet?"
