Taemin stood in front of me in the kitchen as I dabbed his face for blood with a washrag.

"Does this hurt?" I said softly.

"No, not much." He sighed, not looking at me. Was he embarrased?

"There, all better." I removed the cloth and examined his wound, then moving my gaze down when I noticed his stare. Now he was looking at me. Not just at me, but into my eyes, as if he was searching for something valuable in them. Our eyes locked, and I became nervous. No one had ever looked at me like this. He didn't say a word. He wasn't smiling, but his face was sincere.

I opened my mouth to say something, but I forgot what I was going to say, and nothing came out.

He looked so...lovely. At that moment I only wanted to give him a big hug and tell him I was sorry but I didn't.

After a few seconds, he suddenly took my hand and took the cloth from it, setting it on the nearby counter, this whole time not moving his body or his gaze. I nervously glanced around, confused at what he was doing.

Before long, he put his hands around my waist and pulled me close, our bodies touching again.

"taem-"

I didn't finish my word. He leaned in slowly, then quicker as he took a kiss, first soft but then deeper and more passionate. His hands moved from my side to my face, and he ran them through my hair. I finally put my arms around his back, and he pulled me even closer (if possible). He slowly walked me towards the wall and pressed me against it, then letting go slowly of the kiss.

He stared into my eyes the same way he had a minute ago, brushing a hair from my face.

I didn't say a word, and he giggled cutely and picked me up into a tight hug, whispering in my ear "I feel much better now."
