The thunder boomed louder, followed by a crash of lightning far in the distance. I held Taemin tight and then looked up, to see if he was scared. His face was frightened, and at the next crash of thunder he squealed too in fear.

The boat driver went fast, causing me to almost fall of the seat. I moved away from Taemin to give him some room to hold on, as we were going as fast as possible.

Suddenly a wave came out of nowhere, pushing the boat up and knocking Taemin over. The boat tipped as the waves crashed against it and Taemin fell to the edge of the boat.

How could a storm like this come out of nowhere? I quickly grabbed Taemin's shirt and pulled him back, only to be knocked by another wave that sent him flying off the edge of the small boat.

I screamed. "TAEMIN!"

He landed in the water and I reached my hand for him. The waves hit all around him and the driver of the boat, looking regretful, turned to get closer to him. I put my hand as far out as I could while screaming, "SIR, DO YOU HAVE A LIFEJACKET!"

"Look over there, under the first seat!"

I felt Taemin grab my hand, but then slip and be carried even further away by a wave.

"Taemin! Stay there!"

"Do I have a choice?" he screamed.

I went to look for the lifejacket, grabbing one from underneath a seat. I threw it out to him and he grabbed on. I pulled him in as fast as I could and grabbed his arms once he was close enough. "Oppa..." I said.

He took my hand and allowed me to pull him on board. Once he hit the deck he lay on his back, coughing. I sat down next to him and held his hand. "Taemin-ah, are you alright?"

He coughed and sat up. "Thank you." he said. "I'm fine." he shivered and I put my arms around him, rubbing his back to get him warm. "Can you please hurry?" I asked the driver.

"I was so scared." I whispered. Taemin tried to laugh. "Weren't you?"

I nodded. The rain started to pour, and me and Taemin were soaked. Why is it we always seemed to run into some sort of trouble when together?

When finally at land, the boat driver apologized. "Here, a full refund. Please don't take this against me." He said.

"It's okay. It was still a nice ride." Taemin said, handing the money back over.

The driver smiled. "Thank you."

We ran to the nearest shelter, a small convinient store, and bought some towels and some snacks. We sat down outside the store, protected by its roof covering a small porch we were sitting on.

The rain crashed all around us, and I was shivering. "We should ....g-get home soon." I said. Taemin, more cold than I, remained calm and put his arm around me. We tried to warm eachother using our body heat, and soon Iwasn't as cold.

"Let's just sit here for awhile. It's peaceful." Taemin said.

"Peaceful?" I asked curiously. He nodded. "I like spending time with you. If we go home...." his voice trailed off and he turned to look at me. I smiled.

"Oh" I said, smiling and turning red.

He giggled and said, "Ya..you're so cute." He ruffled my hair and planted a kiss on my forehead. Saying nothing, we spent a few more minutes sitting outside, watching the rain fall all around us. Even though the weather was raging wild, there was something calming about it. It was nice.
