  Not edited.   ~~~~   Do Kyungsoo.   That was the one person Jongin couldn’t get out of his mind.   Was it because the midget had decided to basically skip the one period they had together every single day this week—entirely because of Jongin—or was it because of the love note he kept re-reading over and over again?   Whichever it was, it didn’t matter, because Jongin was still an who had broken the poor boy’s heart.   And Jongin knew this. He was keenly aware that Kyungsoo was avoiding him like the plague since he had confessed; if they so much as made eye contact in the hall, Kyungsoo would scurry away in the opposite direction as if he had been burned with scalding water.   And Jongin would normally have no problem with breaking someone’s heart—hell, he did it on a daily basis and it hadn’t bothered him one bit. But for some reason with Kyungsoo, it bugged him. He could still clearly picture Kyungsoo when he had apologized for not liking him back—tears were beginning to form in his big brown eyes and his chubby lips were trembling—and just that memory alone made Jongin feel like the worst person in the world.   Jongin groaned in frustration, rolling over on his bed to stare at the clock on the opposite wall.   It was 11:34pm. Chanyeol would still be up right?   He stretched his arm out towards his nightstand where his phone sat; and after several attempts of trying to grab it he was successful.   He flicked it on, skimming through his recent contacts, and selected Chanyeol’s number before typing out his message.   To: Giant Idiot From: Jongin   Do you have any pictures of Kyungsoo? Sent 11:42pm on March 7th.   Jongin stared at his black screen for a good three minutes before a response came through.   To: Jongin From: Giant Idiot   Um…no? Why exactly…? Sent 11:46 on March 7th.   Disregarding the question completely, he answered.   To: Giant Idiot From: Jongin   Can you ask Baekhyun for one? Sent 11:47 on March 7th.   Jongin, not expecting an immediate response got up to put on his pajamas before going into the bathroom to get ready for bed.   After his nightly routine of brushing his teeth, washing his face and etc. he came back in and saw that he had a new message.   To: Jongin From: Giant Idiot   No I can’t. That’s creepy and weird. Why do you want one anyways? What are you gonna do e while  looking at it? Sent 11:57 on March 7th.   Jongin scoffed at the older’s response as he climbed into his warm bed, not even bothering to reply to such a snide comment.   Jongin was merely curious about Kyungsoo and wanted a picture to look at as he processed his thoughts—not to e—as his best friend had assumed.   He plugged his phone back into his charger before turning off his lamp, deciding he would just have to process his thoughts when he managed to corner Kyungsoo at school the next day.   His eyelids drifted shut, but his thoughts of Kyungsoo didn’t not subside until he had fallen into a fitful sleep.   ~~~   Kyungsoo stared up at the building in front of him. Dreading going inside more than anything.   The night before he had received an earful from his mother and father, the both of them extremely angry that Kyungsoo had been skipping his third period class. But he only received a scolding and a warning not to do it again or he would be in some serious . Not that they used such vulgar language, it was more along the lines of ‘do this again and we will ground you for at least a month.’   Sighing he began his trek across the sidewalk. Once he was inside he planned on going straight to his teacher for the work he missed, and then if he had time he would find Baekhyun.   He felt like he would need his best friend if he was going to face the day with a smile on his face.   ~~~   Third period. Kyungsoo was so done.   The teacher was ranting about a topic that Kyungsoo obviously hadn’t learned yet and as much as he liked school, he didn’t have the urge to pay attention when everything coming out of Mr. Moon’s mouth sounded like nonsense.   That and he could feel someone staring at the back of his head the whole period, and he could already guess who it was.   He didn’t like how Jongin had rejected him almost two weeks ago and he liked it even less now that Jongin was giving him all this unwanted attention.   Just let my heart break in peace you .   Kyungsoo groaned, moving his attention away from the teacher to the clock in the corner of the room.   Only three minutes left Kyungsoo. Only three minutes left before you can escape to your lunch table where people don’t lecture you on pointless subjects and where Jongin wouldn’t be able to stab you in the heart even more.   “Okay class you can pack up now. Kyungsoo do you want the notes from this week?”   The rest of the class shuffled around and began to put their things away as Kyungsoo jumped up, quickly taking the notes his teacher was holding out to him.   He turned back to his desk promptly and began to pack up his belongings.   He had just stowed his pencil in one of his many pockets when Jongin finally approached him.   “Kyungsoo.”   The words rang like a bell in his ears, but he chose to ignore the one speaking, not even giving the younger a glance as he slung his bag over his shoulder and turned to wait by the door with the rest of the students.   Jongin frowned, not liking how Kyungsoo had blatantly ignored him, when it was obvious he had said something to him.   He tried again, ap
