It was as though time was crawling pass, taking its time (ownself) to torment Kevin.

“Kibummie-hyung! It hurts so bad, I don’t want to do this anymore!”

Kibum bit his lips till it made him wince. He kept quiet, but held Kevin’s thin, pale hand firmly while wiping away the beads of perspiration that had mixed with his tears around the younger boy’s pretty face and neck. Kibum wanted to make Kevin more comfortable by reaching in to clean Kevin’s body, but they were not alone so it would be a tad bit awkward.

“Don’t give up, push!” The doctor encouraged, though a little unsure of what to do.

Kevin shook his head and cried harder. “I don’t want to do this anymore!”

“Kevin, don’t. I’m right here, don’t give up.” Kibum leaned down to kiss Kevin’s forehead lightly, hugging his head to show that he will be there. “Come on baby, just a little more.”

“I-argh! Ahh!” Kevin screamed and dug his fingers into Kibum’s skin, pinching till the pain was numbing. Kibum allowed his hand to be abused, even putting his other forearm into Kevin’s mouth, more for Kevin to have something to bite than silencing the boy in excruciating pain.

The doctor further encouraged Kevin to push harder, telling him to relax when he thought Kevin seems like he was about to tear. It went on for another hour, the doctor trying his best to make sure there were not any childbirth tear.

“Mmmm! Ahhh!” Kevin stopped biting down and screamed out loud, voice blending with another ear piercing scream.

“He’s out! He’s out!” The doctor announced happily (since it’s the first time he was monitoring a childbirth from a male) while the nurse did all the standard procedures Kevin didn’t have the mind to take note. She wrapped the newborn with a warm towel and a small blanket, before cutting the umbilical cord. “Bring the baby to his parents.”

“Baby, here’s our sweetie.” Kibum grinned happily as he carried their child, resembling a five-year-old kid getting his first computer game. “Get a glimpse first, I’ll let you hold him after you’ve rested enough.”

“Honey, please. I want to hug him.” Kevin tugged feebly on Kibum’s hand, who wasted no time in placing the baby on Kevin’s chest. He was weak against Kevin’s requests like that. Kevin had a tired, but definitely motherly and elated smile. “He’s active and beautiful.”

Kibum smiled at the mother and son scene. Their baby was already pounding its tiny fists against Kevin. He realised that Kevin missed out a point.

Their beautiful child was awfully loud.

I know, I know, this isn't a new story. (For new readers, I'm actually s2_otter on livejournal and this is actually already an on-going story.) But I really think this story suits AFF in the sense that it really has a lot of chapters coming up lol. Also, I wanted this story to get a bit more coverage? :3
I will consider bringing Acceleration of the Cardiac Cycle and A Cup of Sweet Espresso, please? over, but for now, enjoy? :3
