Same as my usual routine, we all got into Channie oppa’s fabulous pink car. I sat in the front seat and the other three at the back seat.

“You guys ready?” Oppa said as he started the car.

“Neh~” We chorused.

“Oh! Hyung! Jongup’s back!” Daehyun screamed out.

“Chincha-yo?” Oppa said excitedly. “Bring him home one day. Not today though. I cannot stay. I won’t be home today and I won’t be able to pick you up either, Minnie baby. So you guys come home together okay?” He said.

“Hyung we have work after school, today. So we won’t be able to go home together.” Youngjae said sleepily.

“Aww. That means I would have to walk home alone.” I pouted.

“Baby, don’t worry. You can take the safe route.  Everything will be fine.”

“Arasso.” I said, sighing.

The other three seemed so quiet, so I looked behind to see Eunnie dozing off while hugging Daehyun’s arms. Youngjae was glaring at the back of Daehyun’s head for taking the innocence of his lips while Daehyun stared out of the window blankly, as if nothing in the world mattered at the moment. I couldn’t help but giggle. It really makes me wonder how I’m friends with these idiots.

I turned back to the front and stared out of the window until we reached school.

“Be good okay, my dongsaengs!” Oppa said as we got out of the car.

“Neh~” I said.

Daehyun dragged the half asleep Eunnie who wouldn’t let go of his arms, with him into the school. Youngjae and I followed behind. Youngjae was staring holes into the back of Daehyun’s head.

“Annyeong, guys!”’ Jongup popped out of nowhere, scaring Eunnie awake, while smiling cutely. 

“Huh. Huh! What’s happening?” She said looking around while rubbing one eye.

He chuckled at Eunnie causing her to blush lightly.

“Annyeong Jongup.” I said cheerfully.

Jongup went to Daehyun and Youngjae and gave them some manly hugs and pats on their backs. Then Jongup went to Eunnie and hugged her making her jump up and down in excitement while blushing brightly from being hugged by the new handsome Jongup.  I laughed at Eunnie’s reaction. *This is the first time I’m seeing Eunnie blush like this. She must really like him.* I thought and smiled knowingly.

Some girls were screaming and some fainted due to seeing the handsome Jongup. And more to that, seeing him hug us made them go crazy.

Jongup tapped my shoulder taking me out of my thoughts. I looked to see him with his arms open, asking for a hug with the cute smile on his face. Now, no one can resist a cute puppy like Jongup, so I hugged him and we both had a good laugh.

Boys around us started melting with jealousy and envy. Seeing the princess hugging some other guy was something they really couldn’t handle.

Suddenly some girls around us started screaming out Zelo’s name and fan girling. Knowing that Junhong had arrived, I broke the hug and looked around with a smile, only to have it erased from my face.

Seeing him glaring at me in a way that I have never seen him before made me shudder. It was almost as if he was angry. No. It actually looked like he was angry with me. * Did I do something wrong?* I thought. Thinking that it was just some of his glares and just my imagination, I put the smile back on my face.

“Oh, Junhong! Come here.” I said pulling him close to me so that I can introduce Jongup to him. “Jongup, this is Zelo and Zelo, this is Jongup. He came from America after studying there for 2 years. He was a classmate of mine before as well.” I said smiling.

“Annyeong Zelo” Jongup smiled and Junhong kept glaring at him. Jongup awkwardly laughed and rubbed the back of his neck.

Junhong didn’t say a word and just turned around and started walking away. Since I was holding onto his arms, I was pulled with him.

“Come to class soon. Bye Jongup~” I said while waving to Jongup. He gave a small wave back, with a smile. Oh that guy, he never stops smiling does he?

I was dragged to class with Junhong because I was still holding onto his arm. As soon as we got to our desks he glared at me and shoved my arm off angrily. The glare was so intense; I could actually feel the anger.  The shove was hard, but I could tell he didn’t mean to hurt me. Why was he angry? I got confused. The glare was new and it was a mix of upset and anger.

I blinked at him, confused and he glared and with me before sitting in his seat. I slowly sat in my seat too.

Jongup came into class after a while and gave a wave. I waved back. Girls started fan girling over him. He smiled at them and walked over to the empty seat behind me and Junhong.  I turned around.  

“Hey.” I smiled. “What do you think? Coming back after two years, surely you must have something to say.”

“Something’s haven’t changed at all have they?” Jongup smiled back.

“Yep.” I laughed.

I saw the teacher coming and turned back around.

Class was boring as usual, but one thing caught my attention. Junhong looked like he was uncomfortable about something.

I really couldn’t figure it out. If I turned around to speak to Jongup he would move around in his seat uncomfortably and clear his throat sometimes.

I made me wonder… *Could he be jealous? But why would he be jealous. He doesn’t seem like he likes me back.* Sadness filled inside me as I thought of that.

Break time came and as usual Eunnie barged into the classroom not long after the bell, followed by a hyper Youngjae and Daehyun.

“Minnie! Minnie! Let’s have some fun time catching up with what happened in the past two years. What do you think?” Eunnie said smiling widely.

“Yeah, why not?” I said smiling, thinking that it was a great idea.

Eunnie turned to Jongup who stood up and walked to stand beside me.

“What about you Jonguppie? You should tell us about the life you had in America!” She said in the same hyper tone.

“Sure, let’s go.” Jongup smiled.

The others started leaving and I turned around to ask if Junhong wanted to come.

“Junhong, you coming with us?” I asked but no response. He kept staring at the front with a blank expression. *I wonder what’s wrong with him.* I thought and I followed the others out of the classroom.

We got our food and went to the rooftop.

“So Jongup! Found your old friends yet?” Daehyun asked while stuffing food into his mouth.

“Neh!” Jongup said.

“Ooooh! Are they nice?” Daehyun asked

“Yep. They’re great.” He smiled.

“That’s great. Who are they?” I asked, happy for Jongup.

“You guys.” Jongup replied shortly and started eating.

We couldn’t help but ‘awwww’ at his answer. He thought of us as his great friends. That was sweet of him. He can be the sweetest in the world, sometimes.

We ate and talked about how his life in America was like, and also about the things that happened here when he wasn’t around.

“Oh Minnie, you said his name was Zelo, right?”

“Yeah his name is Zelo!” Eunnie answered before me in a hyper tone but Just in case that Jongup might think she likes Zelo, she quickly added. “But I don’t like him. He is our friend.”

*She totally has a crush on Jongup.* I thought.

“Why isn’t he with us right now then?” Jongup asked in curiosity.

“Oh right! Minnie where’s Zelo?” Youngjae asked.

“In the class room.  I dunno, but he seems as if he’s angry with me, but I don’t know why.” I pouted frustrated as I thought of how Junhong was acting.

“Why would he be angry with you?” Youngjae asked thinking hard.

“I don’t know. Since he came to school today he was like that.”

“Was he acting weird?” Youngjae asked half smirking. I looked at him knowing that he had something in mind and answered slowly.

“umm… yeah…”

“Could you explain how he was acting, in the morning till now?”

“When he came I was hugging Jongup, and he was glaring at me angrily. Even in class he would move uncomfortably in his seat and clear his throat if I turned around to talk to Jongup. I know that you are thinking that he is jealous. I can’t help but think that either, but Youngjae-ah… why would he be jealous? He doesn’t like me.” I said all in one go and all four were staring, and listening to me as if I was telling some really awesome and interesting story.

It was silent until Jongup spoke after taking a good look at my face. He then turned to look at the other three.

“Minnie likes him, doesn’t she?”  He said smiling widely making me blush.

“From the first day!” Daehyun ensured him.

“Her first love!” Eunnie chirped while Youngjae nodded.

“Waah~ Minnie! Atlast! You found a guy for yourself! I feel so proud of you!” Jongup hugged you.

The other three laughed while I smiled shyly. Jongup let go, still smiling widely at the great news he heard.

“He likes you.” Youngjae said smiling happily.

“What?” I said, checking whether I heard right.

“He likes you.” Youngjae repeated.

“What makes you think that?” I raised an eyebrow at him.

“He’s Jealous because you are talking to Jongup and the first thing he saw when he came to school was you hugging Jongup, making him think that you two are dating and that he couldn’t get the girl he liked.” Youngjae the brainy best friend of yours explained. I really wonder how Youngjae figures things out so easily. He’s not called the brainy for nothing.

The bell rang and our conversation ended there. Walking back to class with Jongup I thought about what Youngjae said.

 I walked to my seat and Jongup walked to the seat behind. Seeing Junhong asleep made me think that he had another sleepless night. I sighed. *He didn’t even eat today. What could be wrong with him? What Youngjae said a while ago…? Could it be true?* I thought.

School session ended, and Jongup stood up to leave and laid my head on the table and stared at Junhong’s angelic face.

“Aren’t you going home?” I heard Jongup ask, lifting my head I replied.

“In a while.” He nodded and left. I lay back down and looked at every feature on Junhong’s face. His squishy looking cheeks. His perfectly shaped nose and jaw. His cute pink lips. His eyelashes, and the dark circles around his eyes from the lack of sleep.

For the first time I realized he was sleeping comfortably. His face was calm. Free from whatever traumatizing nightmares he usually has. I felt relieved seeing his calm sleeping face.  I sighed.

Lifting my head up, I checked the time from my phone. 3:15. I placed it next to me.

Lying back down, a bit closer to his face, taking in every detail of his beautiful face. I felt his steady breath near my face. I looked from his hair and down to his neck. But that’s when something caught my eyes. His lose white V neck t-shirt was loose from his body as he was lying forward on the table. I was able to see his perfect collarbone.  Near his collarbone was something that hurt me. I big scar. A scar that would never go away and always remain there. It stretched from the tip of his collarbone and down, more towards his chest. He hid it behind his t-shirt all this time…

It made me wonder what happened in his past. Making up mind to earn his trust as soon as possible, I looked back to his angelic face.

I stared at his face, until my eyelids started feeling heavy and I fell asleep.

I woke up when my phone started vibrating. I looked at the caller ID and saw that it was oppa. Smiling, I picked it up and pressed it to my ear. I was waiting for Oppa to scream in my ear, but no one spoke.

“Yeoboseyo...” I said in a sleepy voice.
