Sooyoung’s pov

Looking at my watch, it shows 11:45 p.m. I was in front of our apartment. I enter the password and went in.

“Seobie, I’m home…”

“…..” It was silent. I check all over the house but there is no one.

That weird. Is Seobie still at work? But it’s already late. I should call him. I take my phone from my handbag and started to dial his number.

He didn’t pick up. I try several time but the result is still the same.

Maybe if I try calling his office phone, he will answer.

“Tut…Tut…Tut…” it was endless. No one pick it up. Maybe something bad happen to him?? No! I shouldn’t think like that.

No one pov

Sooyoung sat down to relax herself. While holding her phone, she kept thinking about her husband.

When it’s almost 2 a.m. she falls asleep on the sofa.

Sound of the message notification, wakes Sooyoung up. She picks up her phone that fell down from the sofa. When she realized it was a message from Yoseob.

‘Sorry Sooyoung-ah. I didn’t call you last night. Don’t worry about me. I’m okay. Remember to eat breakfast. Once again I’m very sorry cause I can’t send you to school. I’ll be home later. Bye’

Sooyoung looks so relief. She replies back to Yoseob.

‘It’s okay. I’m very glad that you’re alright. I miss you so much~~^^~~. Come home early, okay…’

While a smile is still plastered on her face, she gets ready for work. After she finish and eat a simple breakfast, she headed toward the bus stop. A bus came a few minutes after that. Lucky her, she didn’t miss the bus. It had been a long time since she didn’t use buses. Usually Yoseob will send her everywhere she wants to go.

She boards the bus and scans her bus payment card. As she searches for a seat, she notices 2 familiar women sit at the back seat.

“Hyoyeon, Yuri” she calls their name.

“Sooyoung, what’re you doing here?” Hyoyeon asked.

“I’m eating a spaghetti… don’t you see?” Sooyoung told her.

“Aish, Hyoyeon. Why did you ask her when she on the bus?!” Yuri hit Hyoyeon’s head softly. Sooyoung laugh and sat beside Yuri.

“Where’re you guys going?” Sooyoung asked them.

“Going to work, of course. Didn’t I tell you last night during the party. I’m working as a chef at the 5-star restaurant, while Yuri is a designer” Hyoyeon said.

“Oh! So you guys usually take buses?”

“Yes. We don’t have husband that willing to send us to workplace, like you. But why’re you taking buses?” Yuri asked.
