“Minjung, I think this is not a good idea”

“Why?” she looked at me and smiled

“I-I don’t know”

We were standing just in front of a pre school and I can see little kids playing and having a good time. They were cute to be very honest but I am not confident  enough.

“Jinki, come on, thats in the past”

“But still..Babies are scary”

“No they’re not”

Then we saw a little girl tripped while she was running with her friends. Minjung immediately run and let her stand up

“Are you alright?” she asked with concern but the kid just keeps on crying.

“Shhh~ don’t cry”

“eonnie...My toy just broke” she cried even harder and I feel terrified inside

“Dont worry, eonnie will buy you a new one”

“You promise?”

“Only if you smile”

And thanks to Minjung’s charm, she smiled. She patted her head and fixed her clothes... Suddenly memories are just flashing right behind my mind

We were walking on the streets after we bought some ice cream. Hers was chocolate flavour and I got a vanilla for myself. It was her treat since I got higher scores in our exams.

“Why do I always end up treating you food”

“Cause I got higher scores than you do”

“Okay mister brainiac”

We were walking and suddenly she heard a bark beside the tree. The forever curious Minjung went closer and we both found a box. It contain a white cute pleading eyes saying just please take me. She grabbed it and said that I should take care of him since he looks exactly like me. I don’t know if that’s a compliment or not.

Days pass and I took care of the puppy. Minjung really loves him. His name was toby.

I tried lifting him up but then because of my clumsiness, he fell. Really hard. He was so injured that he is in pain whenever he walks.

What scared me more is when Minjung started to cry and I think its my fault. The puppy didn’t die. But it didn’t turn out nice.

“Hey, let’s go in?” she smiled at me and I nodded.

When we entered the kids just ran into her and gave her a group hug. They all love her, who wouldn’t.

“Noona, are you going to play with us today?”

“Yeah~”

“Noona, who is this hyung?”

“Maybe that’s eonnie’s boyfriend” one of the little kids said

“No I have seen him” another boy answered

“who?”

“I saw him in my noonas room..All over her wall”

We both laughed at how innocent these kids are

I kneeled down and introduced myself “I’m Onew”

We all played and had a good time. Kids are fun to have chat with cause they are so free and they are so true to their words. I miss being a kid and my normal life just playing around wherever I want

We were invited to have drinks by other teachers after five. Its their gathering.

“Can we go?” she asked me

“I want to but I cant”

“Please?”

“I need to be in our dorm tonight”

“So can I go?” she smiled and asked for my opinion

“Do you want to?”

“Yes”
