ONEW’S POV

The last thing I want to see in my entire life is her sorrows and tears. I was about to get ready for the party and was about to call her when my phone started to ring. It was Minjung’s mother. She rarely calls me except when Minjung gets lost or something. I immediately got this panicky feeling inside me. I pressed answer and

“Yeoboseyo?”

“JinKi ssi”

“Ne, Eomonim?”

“I’m sorry to bother you but is MinJung there?”

“Ani, Wae?”

“She ran away cause I told her I was leaving her for my new job and it kinda shocked her. She’s not answering her phone my dear. It’s getting dark and I don’t know where to find her. She’s not even answering me. Can you help me?”

“Ne. I’ll go find her” Where the hell is she?

“thank you Jinki ssi. Do you have something to do today?”

“I can cancel that for now. What matters is where I can find Minjung”

“Aigoo~ I’m so glad Minjung has someone like you”

I strolled on some parks and some streets where she can probably be.I checked each one of them and no signs of her. this is hard. What if something happens to her? I wont forgive myself if that happens. I ran and ran until I suddenly remembered what she told me before

“When I get so depressed, I always go here and watch the kids play”

I was a mini park and she loves riding the swing. It’s really getting cold. I wonder if I’m right. What will I do? What if she’s cold? She always forget things maybe she doesn’t have any jacket. I ran as fast as I can and thank goodness, she’s there. As I expected

She was playing with the swing while staring at a blank space and that’s when I stopped her.

“You’re here”

I said and had a long deep sigh. That was a big relief. At least she’s safe. She doesn’t have any concern about her safety. All the time and as expected. She’s not wearing anything thick to protect her.

“It’s cold, you should have worn something thick. Here, wear mine" and I wrapped it in her

She looked at me but she’s staying silent. WHAT’S WITH HER? that look in her face. The sadness and all the worrying and now I know, she’s scared. For the past years in her life, She felt left out by his father. She doesn’t want to be alone. I understand her.

Finally, she gave me this embrace that I know she needs so much. My poor Minjunggie, how can I make you feel happy? If only I can share those pains with you
