Taemin and I sat on the bed. It feels like I’m telling a story to a baby. That sparkles in his eyes while he is waiting for me to speak. I really do have a soft spot in my heart for this kid.

FLASHBACK/ ONEW’S POV

Minjung and I didn’t enter the same school. We both agreed on this cause we know we wont concentrate in our studies if we do. But then I always send her to school and pick her up. The front gate was our meeting place. One day, I was so excited on picking her up cause I have this awesome story. The ajjhuma I met just gave me this coupon telling me I have this free bucket of chicken in Mcdonalds.

“Jinki!” she saw me and I smiled.

She was walking with her girlfriends but then when she saw me, she waved goodbye and went to my direction. We were not yet a couple before but I guess her friends think so. I haven’t met them and they haven’t met me. She has this habit of locking her arms into me and starts walking. And so we did…

“How’s your day?” I asked her. She was quite cheerful today

“Great”

“Looks so…”

“Ya! Don’t change my mood. Let’s eat. My treat”

“Your treat? Oh is it the end of the world?”

“YA! Lee JinKi” and she hit me

“I was just joking. Okay let’s eat”

“Let’s go to the café where we always go”

“Okay”

We walked on the streets and finally arrived at our destination. I pushed the door for her. We love going to this café. The ambiance is nice and cozy and they sell delicious foods and sweets.

 A lady then went to our table and got our order. We know Mrs. Anna, she always takes our order

“Hi there young couple, great to see you two again”

“We’re not a couple” She said and that hurt a little

“Really? But it doesn’t look like it. You two look good together”

We just smiled. Everyone around us tells us one thing ‘you look good together’ well I hope she realizes that

“So what will be your order?”

“Mine is one caramel machiatto and blueberry cheesecake” I told her

“And to our miss?”

“One coffee Jelly with chocolate doughnuts”

“Coming right up”

And Mrs. Anna prepared our order

“So why are you happy today?”

“Me? Oh? I’ll tell you what happened to me today”

I just love how excited she is. How happy her smile was. I love seeing her like this. So joyful and warm. She shares everything to me and maybe that’s the bond that keeps us close to each other. I know her so well. I can tell if she’s troubled, if she’s hiding a thing, if she’s nervous or if she’s bored. And I think she can also read me well

“So what is it?”

“I was walking to my locker and when I opened it…I saw this” then he brought out an envelope

“An envelope?”

“Ya! Do you know what this is?It’s a love letter, you idiot!”

“So why are you showing this to me? Does it involve me?”

“No. As my bestfriend, I want you to read it”

“Really?”

“Yes. Read it and tell me what you think”

Dear Minjung,

You are always in my mind…All the time that I cant stop thinking about you. I’m not crazy right? You are the first person I always thought when I wake up and the last one when I go to bed. You are beautiful inside and out. I know cause I’ve been looking at you. You have a kind heart. I know you but I want to know you more.

Your smile is like a ray of sunshine into my world. You laugh is the most refreshing melody in my ears. I love everything about you and I hope you are with me. Seeing you smile brights up my whole world. You are my world.

I always have a great time when I’m with you. You are funny and caring. Even though everyone tells me that my jokes are lame, you are the one that can laugh at it. If you let me, I want to show you how important and how I love you
