Today will be the D-Day for me. I’m here at the backstage preparing myself for our debut. I can see the nervousness in each of my dongsaengs eyes. We all feel tensed, we all feel pressured.

SHINee will be a new name to the public. It will just have two results. It either people will accept us and support us or its either they will just ignore what we have right now. It’s nerve wracking to think of people being frustrated.

We worked hard for this and sacrificed a lot just to reach our dream. All I want to share my talent to other people. I’m happy seeing them because of me. I want them to enjoy as much as I am enjoying myself on the stage.

After minutes, my mom and my dad entered the room

“Aegi-ah~”

“Umma, Appa!”

“You can do it, all of you can do it. Fighting!”

“Watch me okay?”

“Of course dear”

“Mom, where’s MinJung?”

“She is not here yet.”

“Wae? I’ve called her already”

“Maybe she’s on his way son”

Then Suddenly, minjung’s mom entered the room as well

“JinKi-ah~”

“Eomonim, where’s Minjung?”

“She’s still in school but she said she’s on her way.”

Then the PD-nim signaled us to get ready

“SHINee please get ready on stand by, You will be next”

“Ne, PD-nim, kamsahamnida” I bowed to him and showed my politeness

I stood up together with my members. We formed a circle and I talked to them

“Okay guys, we can do this. We have been waiting for this day to come. Let’s show them what we prepared. Let’s show them how SHINee we are.”

“we can do it!” Jonghyun said

“Let’s do our cheer”

“Here we go~ ^^%$#@& Ultra SHINee transform!”

I gave my parents a hug before I walked on stage

“SHINee Fighting!”

The lights are still off as we are preparing. I glanced at the audience and there are so many people who came to watch us. They are waving this pearlescent blue green lightstick as a sign of support. I tried to remember all of the lyrics I was practicing but the lyrics wont just come out. I’m blocked. Mentally blocked. I took a deep breath and calmed myself up.

“You can do this JinKi”

I looked at my parents who were in front of the stage smiling at me and thank goodness, I saw her. She’s beside my mom, anticipating for this as well. Immediately, her presence calmed me down. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. The first beat sounded and that’s the cue

“We present to you, the ever SHINee-ing, SHINee!”

I enjoyed each and every second I was performing on stage. I can see their smiles and their proud faces. MinJung is also smiling at me.  The performance went well and the fans cheered as loud as I can hear them. They loved and appreciated all our hard work. As they were shouting our name, I nearly cried. A SHINee World indeed.

After the performance, we headed backstage and there are our parents. All of my family are there. Mom was so proud of me. I can see it in her eyes, she’s crying.

“My boy is a handsome man in stage” she said and I smiled

I saw Jonghyun crying really hard. He is inhaling sharply and sobbing due to happiness. I ran into him and gave him a hug and the comfort that he is needing

“Jonghyun-ah! We made a great stage performance”

“Yes hyung!” he said

“Stop crying~”

They placed ribbons and gave us flowers in our debut. Were still boys compared to other group like Super Junior, A rookie indeed?

And to my sight was my inspiration, the girl I was looking for the whole time. I held her hand and dragged her outside.

“Hi~”

“Hi~ she responded

“I thought you wouldn’t come”

“Good thing I was on time. I was really in a hurry”

I s my hand on her waist as looked in her eyes sincerely

“How did I go? You watched me right?”

“Of course, Oppa did so well. You never fail
