Yonghwa looked at the machine. "It's . . .it's this thing that keeps me alive, huh." 

. . .. "It's you that keeps me alive and causes both Seohyun and omma pain . . . . "

Suddenly a tear slid from his eyes but he quickly wiped it away. "I'm stupid aren't I. It's no one's fault but mine. I shouldn't have stayed alive. I shouldn't have stayed in a coma I should have just died at the spot. Why didn't I . . ."

He lifted his hand, expecting it to go through the machine. But it didn't. Instead, it landed on the surface of it. The cool, hard, surface. 

A cool hard surface that Yonghwa hadn't felt in years. 

Another tear ran down his cheek.

Seohyun almost couldn't wait for the sliding doors to open. Upon entering the hospital, she automatically turned the corner. 

"MIss! The hospital is closed for visitors!" 

Seohyun didn't care. But when she got to Yonghwa's room, and the shoved the door open, panting heavily, she almost couldn't believe what she saw. 

Yonghwa's bed.

Yonghwa's bed - it was empty. 

The blankets were folded back, and the bed was empty. 

She ran over to the other side of the bed.

Did he wake up? What happened - where is he?? 

But then she looked into the starry night sky and she knew. 

She knew where to go.

Yonghwa looked at the starry sky from the rooftop. He lifted his hand, not even believing what was going on. 

Why could he feel again? Why-

Ahh . . .he shouldn't be questioning himself. He should just be glad God gave him another chance . .. .right? 

Suddenly the door to the roof slammed open.

Yonghwa turned around to see Seohyun . . .. slowly approaching him.

"Y . . . . .. Yong?" Seohyun asked, the familiar name rolling off of her tongue. 

At first Yonghwa just looked at her, but then a smile they both knew well formed. "Hyun. Long time no see."
