"Seohyun."

She stared off into space. 

"Seohyun," he called out, a little louder. 

She didn't reply.

"SEOHYUN!' he called, loudest. 

"Yes?" Seohyun replied, snapping out of it. 

"What's wong? Something happen?" 

"No."

"You're so distant today though." 

"I'm perfectly fine."

Kyuhyun looked at her a little more. "If you say so." 

The two sat in silence, Seohyun tapping he pencil on the pape as she thought about everything. Kyuhyun just looked at her, then somewhere else. "You know, even if usually you're really distant anyway, today you seem not only distant . . .  but really somber."

Seohyun ddn't say anything.

"Are you sure nothing happened?"

"Yes, Kyuhyun. I'm sure." 

Kyuhyun looked back to his math homework, glancing over every once and a while. "Ok. Are we still meeting at the hospital for tutoring?"

"Why wouldn't we?"

" . . . I don't know."

Kyuhyun gathered his things. "Well . . . I have to go now"

Just as Kyuhyun opened the door, Seohyun looked up.

"Wait."

"Yes?" 

"Let's . . . Let's not meet at the hospital anymore."

"Why?"

" . . . . "

"Fine, you don't have to tell me. But where should we meet then?"

" . . . Go to Seoul Library. We'll meet there." 

"The usual time?" 

"Yeah."

"Ok."

Seohyun approached the hospital. She looked at the garden outside, where patients wandered for a breath of fresh air. She watched small kids laugh. She wanted to take anothe step towards the hospital, but she couldn't.

She ran away.
