Chapter 41
I lied... I love you"Hello gorgeous." Seungho greeted smoothly as he walked in the Jung's kitchen.
"Hey." Karam replied, looking up at him in surprised. "How did you get in?"
"I met your daddy at the front when I arrived just now. He told me you're in here. I've been trying to call you since last night but you didn't answer. Is everything okay?"
“Mmm..., sorry about that. I went out with my daddy last night and I didn't bring my phone with me. We came back quiet late last night. Hey, I'm having my cereal, want some?” Karam gave him a smile.
Just that one action melted his heart turning him into butter. He wasn't surprise how this boy could cause such reactions within him. His heart was beating a mile a minute just from a smile. Seungho smiled back at Karam. “Sure.”
Karam went to take an empty bowl and a glass from a drawer and brought it to the counter. Seungho who was leaning on the counter staring at him deep in thought.
"I was thinking," he said, his face becoming serious again. "....I wanna take you out tonight. Like a date. A special date." Seungho said pouring himself a cereal into his bowl. He glanced at Karam out of the corner of his eye, a smirk playing about his lips.
Karam freeze mid-chew, and looked up to face Seungho. "Why do we need to go on a date? We've been on so many dates before. Besides, we’re already engaged." Karam asked, still curious.
“We haven't officially gone out on a date since we’re engaged. It's been two weeks and I've been waiting for this." He said slowly, moving to take a slow step forward. He leaned down and placed his hands on the arms of Karam’s chair, forcing him to lean back, he hovered over Karam, his face only a few inches from him. "Will you let me take you on a date?" he teased before leaning forward and pecking Karam’s cheek.
Karam smiled and nodded his head. "Sure." He lifted his hands and placed them on Seungho’s solid chest. "Now eat your cereal."
"Okay. Okay." Seungho he said straighten up and went to sit in his chair.
"It looks good on you." Suddenly Seungho said after a minute spent sitting in silence.
Karam raised an eyebrow at him. "What?"
"The ring."
"Mmm... I agreed." Karam replied. "You really trying to butter me up, don't you?" Karam told Seungho as he ate his breakfast.
Seungho was going to protest but then he just shrugged as this was pretty much true. "Well, at least I'm telling the truth. Do you think it's weird or awkward for me to say that?"
"I don't recall saying anything about it being weird or awkward." Karam replied.
"But you thought it. Besides, I just love saying that to you."
They sat there for quite a while talking about random things and about their plan for the night until they were done eating. "So, movie after dinner sounds great. Shall I fetch you at six? Will that be okay with you?"
"Sure. Six will be good."
Seungho walked over to Karam grasping his hand and squeezed it gently. With a smile, he leaned in and kissed Karam on the lips, letting it linger, before he walk out the house, waving goodbye as Karam shuts the door.

Karam was getting ready when his daddy came into his room. "So, what time Seungho coming over, dear?" Jaejoong asked.
"In about... " Karam glanced up at the clock on the wall. "... any time now." he said to his daddy.
Jaejoong smiled at Karam. "Enjoy your night."
"Yes I know." Karam responded with a smile because he knew that his daddy loved Seungho.
"Please be happy. He's a good boy." Jaejoong said.
Karam sighed, realising that their problem didn't lie with Seungho at all. "I'll be fine." he assured his daddy.
The doorbell rang.
"I'll get it." Jaejoong said, immediately walked out the room and went downstairs. Karam followed behind him.
"Hello Seungho." Jaejoong said, delighted to see him standing there when he opened the door.
"Er… hi," Seungho said, sharing Jaejoong's enthusiasm. He looked past Jaejoong's shoulder and saw Karam.
"Well, have fun you two," Jaejoong said, giving them one last glance, before leaving both of them.
'This isn’t our first date. And I know I shouldn't be nervous because I've known him for years and like he said earlier today, we've already engaged, but I am.' Karam sighed.
"Hey, ready to go? You look nice by the way." Seungho exhaled, his mouth turning up into a half-smile. His hands glided down Karam's arms, leaving fire in their wake. "How did I get so lucky?"
Karam smiled. "Thank you. So do you. Let’s go now." Karam replied without answering to him.
"Wait" Seungho said, leaned in slowly and captured Karam's lips in a sweet kiss that caused his heart to pound in his chest. "Now let's get out of here before I lose control entirely," Seungho said, winding his fingers through Karam's and pulling him to his car.

Seungho peeked over to watch Karam as he got settled on the seat next to him. Karam looked content in the light reflected from the movie screen. Seungho absentmindedly rubbed his thumb over Karam's smooth skin, and was secretly thrilled when Karam let out a soft, barely audible sigh.
Karam tried to pay attention to the movie, about half an hour later, he began to lose focus at the movie and it really couldn't hold interest for him. He watched Seungho watching the movie. Eventually, Seungho caught him on. He turned his attention back to the screen.
“Karam?” Seungho breathed slowly, not realizing how much closer he had leaned towards Karam's ear. Karam looked over at Seungho, who’s all kinds of soft and gentle. Karam tried his hardest to swallow the lump in his throat so that he could speak. He thinks that Seungho may have been calling his name a few times. “Yeah?”
