 “Chapter Twenty Six    

Few days passed peacefully, and the day HyeRi being born into the world is closing. It's near the 8^th month since she's pregnant and it also means that Key and JiMin are getting married soon. Today, the couple went for the check up on their baby, and they will be back in the later evening since after that they will be visiting JiMin's parents.

 

 

“Hey, they're getting married soon, why don't we prepare them their wedding gift?” JungHee suggested.

 

“Yea, we should! Key seems to have some plan for the proposal already, even though it's kinda weird, to propose after he already got JiMin pregnant,” Onew said.

 

“But what should we give them?” Hazel asked.

 

“I wanna give them a house of their own, it would be nice if they share a cozy apartment, and with their daughter growing in a lovely environment,” MinHo said.

 

“Whoa... A house of their own? It'll be a very expensive gift,” JungHee said. “Why don't you give me a mansion next time I get married?” JungHee asked playfully.

 

“Dream on! It's still a long time for you to get married,” MinHo said.

 

“Ttch!”

 

“Then, I shall make JiMin a wedding gown and Key his wedding suit,” Hazel said.

 

“Then, I will buy the furniture for their future home,” Onew.

 

“I'll be in charged in the wedding then! I'll plan out their wedding ceremony beautifully,” JungHee said with dreamy eyes.

 

“Then I'll make them their wedding songs, videos and such? Since I got most of their photos and silly videos,” JongHyun said.

 

“Then what should I do?” TaeMin asked.

 

“Why don't you help Hazel? It's very tiring for her to design a dress and a suit that is unique and special for the couple, and not to say the product must be out withing three months,” JungHee said and smiled at Hazel.

 

Hazel smiled back and nodded. TaeMin agreed to it and they all went out of their hangout area and went to places they need to go to. MinHo looking for a suitable apartment; Onew to the furniture stores; JungHee to look for a nice location for the wedding; JongHyun back home to think of the mood and setting for their wedding videos and the wedding march; Hazel and TaeMin to the designing studio.

 

 

~ Meanwhile ~

After the JiMin went for the pregnancy check up, with the accompaniment of Key, they went out of the hospital. “Heading to Incheon now?” JiMin asked Key, who was walking beside her.

 

“Mm! But before that, I want to get something for your parents, we can't possibly go there empty handed right?” Key smiled and ruffled JiMin's hair.

 

“Hehe, mm!”

 

They eventually bought a basket of fruits and then driving to Incheon. On the way, JiMin was listening to the classical music played on the radio. She eventually fell asleep. Key smiled and turned tht temperature higher a bit, so that she won't feel too cold later.

 

“Little HyeRi is out soon, she's gonna be a healthy princess,” Key muttered and smiled.

 

'I can't believed it, I'm a dad now... at such a young age. I'm only 22 this year, JiMin too... It's a unrealistic feeling I'm feeling right now. I'm a dad... Am I even prepared? By the time HyeRi comes to the world? How am I going to raise her up? I know I have JiMin's and the guys' help, but.. how am I suppose to raise her up? I'm nervous, I'm scared, but I'm happy and excited at the same time. I feel miraculously happy and blissful now, a small and happy family is what I always dream of having.' Key thought and smiled.

 

After they reached JiMin's house, Key woke JiMin up and they went out of the car that was parked in the front yard. Key reached for the basket of fruits at the back passengers' seats and got out of the car to join JiMin who was stretching after a long nap. Key took her hand and they went into the house, to see Mr. and Mrs. Kim seated on the sofa, watching the TV.

 

“Annyeonghaseyo, umma and appa,” Key greeted politely and bowed.

 

“Aigoo, why so formal?” Mrs. Kim chuckled and went to the couple.

 

“Umma! Appa!” JiMin grinned and went to them for a light hug. Key placed the basket of fruits on the kitchen counter and joined the family for a chat. They were chatting about their life so far and how badly Mrs. Kim wants to see them get married. The couple kept quiet at the topic of getting married. Mr. Kim was all the way quiet, but he was confident that Key already had the proposal plan in his head. But as for JiMin, he doesn't know.

 

“Appa, after I gave birth to HyeRi, I wanna study again,” JiMin said.

 

“Study? Why?” Mrs. Kim asked. “And HyeRi is the baby's name? It's nice! I like it!”

 

“Yea, HyeRi is her name,” JiMin smiled and continued. “I wanna study, because you know I missed my high school education. So I just wanna finish m high school, move up to university and then work,” JiMin said.

 

“I see, why do you feel like working suddenly?” Her dad asked.

 

“Because appa you see, Hazel is going back to become a model for sure; JungHee studies Child Physiology and she's gonna be a child physiologist; Onew oppa and Key oppa, are taking over their family business; MinHo oppa is taking over his dad's sports school and TaeMin oppa wants to work towards his music dream. Everybody has a something to do, and I'm the only one left at home, doing nothing. I don't want that,” JiMin said and pouted.

 

“Be my personal assistance then,” Key said.

 

“I don't want, I wanna build my own career and business on my own,” JiMin said and smiled. “I wanna open a cafe.”

 

“A cafe?” Mr. Kim asked.

 

“Yep!”

 

“It's not a bad idea, we support you!” JiMin's parents encouraged. Key smiled and ruffled JiMin's hair, giving her a thumb up.

 

After another hour of chat, JiMin and Key left the house. They drove to a garden and sat on a bench, enjoying the evening breeze. “JiMin-ah,” Key called out.

 

“Hmm?” JiMin turned her head and looked at Key.

 

“What do you think of getting married?”

 

“Getting married? It's nice,” JiMin simply said and divert her attention back to the setting sun. JiMin smiled at the thought of getting married to Key, in her white wedding gown, walking down the aisle, towards the Key in his white suit. Making vows, exchanging rings, their first kiss as husband and wife, and with their little miracle, HyeRi, and their happy family.

 

“I've never thought of getting married at such a young age, and being a mom at such a young age,” JiMin said. “I'm not prepared yet, and I'm afraid I won't do well, as a mom, and as your wife. I don't know how's life after that. Even though I'm already living with you under the same roof, but getting married and living together after that, to me, it's a whole new different story. I'm not prepared yet, but it's always nice, to be able to marry someone you love, but, now, I don't know...”

 

Key looked at her as she spoke. He understand how she feels, because he feels the same too. They're all too young. Key is also wondering if he would be a good husband to her, he's wondering what would be the life after that.
