*Just pretend that Hyoyeon's birthday is in February*

 

During recess at the canteen (Tiffany's POV)

 

"He's just so cute!" I thought as I stared at the cute guy playing basketball at the court across the canteen. Ever since I sat down, I never got my eyes off of him, I haven't even touched my food, just sat there and stared at that cutie. He dribbled and jumped into the air, aimed and threw the ball and it successfully went through the hoop. "Wow! ten in a row!" I thought as I couldn't help but smile at his success.

 

"Hello? Earth to Tiffany? Are you even listening to me?"Jessica said as she waved her hand infront of my face.

 

"Sorry, what? Did you say something, Jessie?" I asked.

 

"What's going on with you? You've been smiling like an idiot ever since you sat down! And you haven't even touched your food yet!" she said.

 

"He's just so cute!" I said as she looked at the direction I was looking at earlier.

 

"Oh him? He's Yuri's basketball senior." Jessica said as I continued to stare at him.

 

He was about to shoot when he looked up and noticed that I was staring at him.

 

I quickly looked away but I could see a smirk forming on his face at the corner of my eye. A few minutes later, I continued to stare at him while he practised.

 

"If you like him so much, why don't you ask him out?" Sunny asked.

 

"You know I'm not the type who approaches others first..." I said.

 

"Well, looks like you don't need to anymore, he's coming over right now." Seohyun said.

 

"Wait! What?!" I shrieked as I turned to see that cutie heading his way to me.

 

"OMG! He's coming over! What do I do? What do I say?" I asked as the three of them got up from their seats.

 

"You'll be fine! Just be yourself! Now if you excuse us, we'll be leaving you lovebirds alone and we'll be there if you need us." Jessica said as she pointed to a vacant table at the other side of the canteen.

 

"Wait! Don't go! I need..." I stopped when I realized that cutie was just behind me.

 

"Hey! Hm.... You know... When I was practising just now, I thought I saw a girl staring at me.... and strangely, she looked exactly like you!" he teased and smirked again, "Hi, I'm Siwon. And you are?"

 

"I'm T..Tiffany.."I stuttered as I felt my face heating up.

 

"Hey! Lover boy! Stop flirting with girls and get you over here!" a guy shouted as he walked toward us, with a basketball in his hand.

 

"Yup, coming! Just a sec!" Siwon shouted and turned to me again, "Hey, I have to go now. We're having a competition next week so we're working extra hard. But I really hate to go..... Hey! I have two free movie tickets for the new movie showing in cinemas ... Would you like to go to the movies with me?"

 

Before I could answer, he continued, "Great! Today, after school, meet me at the back gate at 3P.M.! Don't be late!"

 

"But I haven't agreed yet! Hey! Wait!" I yelled but he ignored and ran back to the court.

 

"Well.... Atleast I don't have extra lessons today.." I thought as I headed to find the three girls.

After school, outside TaeNy's room (Taeyeon's POV)

 

I opened the door and popped my head in, hoping to see my angel sitting on the couch, watching television, waiting for me to come back. To my disappointment, she wasn't on the couch and the television wasn't switched on.

 

"Fany? I'm back! Hello? Are you home?" I asked.

 

I put down my school bag and went to the kitchen then to the toilet.

 

Empty.

 

"Hm...That's strange... She should be home waiting for me to get back... I better call her.." I thought as I went over to the small table where I left my phone and unlocked it.

 

'10 missed calls - Hyoyeon'

 

I smiled as I saw the caller ID and quickly called her back.

 

"Hello? Hyoyeon?" I said.

 

"Yah! Taengoo! Why didn't you pick up my calls? I've been calling the whole morning! Don't tell me you forgot what tomorrow is!" Hyoyeon shouted.

 

"Sorry, I was having lessons. How can I forget such a special day?" I said.

 

"You better not! You're coming to celebrate it with me right?" she asked.

 

"Ofcourse! Tomorrow's Saturday, I don't have class so I promise I'll be there, okay?" I said.

 

"Okay! So... How have you been Taengoo?" she asked.

 

"Well...I've been great! Through these two months here, I've made lotsa new friends and there's this particular girl... We've become really close to each other in such a short time! She's really sweet and friendly..."I said.

 

"Keke! Taengoo! Are you complimenting someone? I've never heard you compliment someone before! She must be nice! What's her name?"

 

"Yes, she is! Her name's Tiffany.... she's really beautiful, has an amazing eye smile and the best dorm mate I could ever wish for!" I said.

 

"Keke! Taengoo! You like her, don't you?" she asked as I felt my face heating up.

 

"Am I really that obvious?" I asked.

 

"Keke! Well... if someone knew you well enough that you don't compliment people often... then yes, it is REALLY obvious!! keke! Taengoo's in love!" she teased.

 

"Yah! Stop teasing me! Oh and please don't tell anyone about this okay? Not mom or dad, not Sooyoung and the rest, nobody okay? Only you and Yuri unnie knows about this..." I said.

 

"Ofcourse! Your secret is safe with me! " she said as I heard someone opening the door.

 

"Tiffany!" I thought and said, "Okay Hyoyeon, I have to go now, I'll see you tomorrow okay? Love you! Bye!"

 

"Okay, love you too, Taengoo! Bye!" she said as I quickly hung up the phone.

 

"Taetae? Who's on the phone?" Tiffany asked.

 

"It...was...er...H...H..Hyoyeon..." I stuttered as I turned and saw my angel in a cute yellow dress with a ribbon on her head and a pink jacket hanging lazily from her arm.

 

"Gosh! She looks so cute!" I thought.

 

"Hey..... Where were you? You told me you didn't have extra lessons today and would wait until I get back.... but when I reached...you weren't here.." I said.

 

"Oh I was ...em..out with Jessie and the rest.." she said.

 

"Oh... Hey! Tomorrow's Hyoyeon's sixth birthday! I'll be going back to celebrate it with her... so... Would you like to join us?" I asked, hoping she would be free.

 

"I would love to!" she said as she gave me an eye smile.

 

"Gosh! That eye smile..." I thought.

 

"Great! Thanks so much, Fany!" I said as I gave her my usual dorky smile and she giggled.

The next morning

 

~I can tell you're lookin' at me, I know what you see, any closer and you'll feel the heat! GG! You don't have to pretend that you didn't notice me, every look will make it hard to breathe~ (The Boys English Ver.)

 

I woke up to the sound of my ring tone, I walked over to the small table where I left my phone and checked the caller ID, Hyoyeon.

 

"Hello?" I said as I yawned and brought my hands to my mouth.

 

"Taengoo! Are you on your way yet?" she asked as I checked the clock, 9 A.M.

 

"Hyoyeon, it's still so early..." I said.

 

"But let's not waste time! I want to spend more time with you... it may be months until I get the chance to see you again! " she said.

 

"Okay...Anything for the birthday girl! I'll go and get ready... see you! Bye!" I said and hung up the phone and went into the toilet to brush my teeth.

 

After I got into a simple blue t-shirt and white pants, I walked over to my sleeping beauty, still sleeping soundly on her bed, she looked like an angel.  I couldn't  bare to wake her up when she's still in her dreamland, but I had to. I sat down on the bed, bent forward as near as possible, taking in the strawberry scent of her body and whispered into her ear, "Fany ah~ It's time to wake up... Fany?"

 

She didn't move an inch so I gently shook her body and repeated, "Fany ah~ It's time to wake up...."

 

"Mmmmm" She moaned seductively as she slowly opened her eyes.

 

"Gosh! That's so Y!!!" I thought.

 

"Taetae? *moan* Why are you waking me up this early?" she said and she rubbed her eyes with the back of her hand as I tried very hard to stop replaying her moan over and over again in my head.

 

"Oh, Hyoyeon wants us to visit her earlier so we can spend more time together, c'mon sleepy head, go get ready! You don't wanna disappoint a little girl!" I said as she slowly got out of bed, grabbed some clothes and went into the toilet.

 

After half an hour had passed, Tiffany still hasn't come out yet. I went over to the door and said, "Fany? Are you okay? What's taking you so long?"

 

Then, the door opened revealing my angel in a white simple dress that gently hung on her shoulders. Her brown gentle curls cascaded down her shoulders with a pink ribbon on her head. I looked into her hazel brown eyes and instantly got lost in it.

 

"So? How do I look?" she asked.

 

"W..WOW!" I exclaimed as those were the only words that managed to come out of my mouth.

 

She looked.... amazing.

 

"Yah! Close your mouth! Byuntae! I don't want to get your drool on my new dress!" she teased as she was used to my byuntae side and pushed my jaw, that I unknowing dropped, up and went over to the couch where she left her pink hand bag and picked it up.

 

"I mean...you look ...Amazingly beautiful...." I said as our eyes met again as I felt my heart beating rapidly.

 

"Keke! Thank you! You're so sweet! keke!" she giggled.

Outside Taeyeon's house (Tiffany's POV)

 

Taeyeyon pressed the door bell button and within seconds, the door opened, revealing a little girl in a yellow t-shirt and white pants. Her eye widen when she saw Taeyeon and jumped at her with open arms.

 

"Taengoo!" she screamed as Taeyeon sueezed her.

 

"Taengoo? haha! So cute!" I thought as I couldn't help but giggle at that cute nickname.

 

The little girl turned to face me, pulled away from Taeyeon and smiled at me and said, "You must be Tiffany unnie!"

 

"Yes, I am. But just call me Fany. Happy birthday, Hyoyeon!" I said as I gave her an eye smile.

 

"Thanks! C'mon in, Fany unnie! I wanna show you my room!" she said as she pulled me into the house.

 

"I'll go and prepare breakfast, you girls play while I cook, okay?" Taeyeon said as Hyoyeon nodded and pulled me into her room.

 

The walls were in rainbow colours and there were all types of toys inside. There was a nerf gun, a whole collectin of barbie dolls, a barney soft toy, race cars, etc.

 

"Welcome to my room, Fany unnie!" she said as something grey and fluffly at the corner of the room caught my eye.

 

"Totoro!!!" I screamed at the top of my lungs, ran towards it and squeezed it tightly.

 

"Fany unnie? You like totoro too? Awesome!!! Keke!" Hyoyeon said as she gave a a dorky smile, same as Taeyeon's.

 

"Yup!" I answered, with the totoro soft toy still in my arms.

 

"Fany unnie, Taengoo's right, you ARE really pretty and have a nice eye smile!" she said.

 

"Aw~ Thank you, you're so sweet!" I said as I felt my cheeks burning.

 

"Taetae said I'm really pretty and have a nice eye smile?" I thought as I couldn't help but smile, "She never told me that before..."

 

 A familiar voice called out, "Hey! Breakfast is ready!"

 

"I'm starving, let's go now, I really miss Taeyeon's dishes! " she said as she ran out of the room.

At the park(Taeyeon's POV)

 

After we had had our breakfast, Hyoyeon wanted to come to the park to have a picnic together so we could bond and get to know each other better. I carried the picnic basket in my right hand and held onto Hyoyeon's right hand with my left hand, Hyoyeon's left hand held onto Tiffany's right hand so now we looked like a happy family going for a picnic at the park.

 

I couldn't help but smile at that thought. We looked really cute together.

 

We found a good spot and set the mat and the things out. Then, we started chatting and laughing together. It was a long time since I've seen Hyoyeon this happy before. I was really happy that it was the right decision to bring Tiffany along with us. Even I have to admit, I've never been this happy for a long time. This was all because of her, Tiffany Hwang Mi Young.

 

I stared at her while she was busy chatting with Hyoyeon about Totoro, from her long and fair legs, her simple but cute dress, her y bottom, her y curves, her gentle brown curls, her amazing eye smile, her cute face, her small nose to her kissable lips. They were so close but so far away. If she would ever be mine, I'd kiss them all day and hold her tightly in my arms and never let her go.

 

"Taengoo? Taengoo!" Hyoyeon shouted as she snapped me out of my thoughts.

 

"Yeah?" I asked, turning to face the little girl.

 

"I want ice-cream! Can you help me buy the chocolate one?" she asked as she flashed her puppy dog eyes at me.

 

"Sure, you cute little thing! Ice-cream!! Do you want anything?" I asked Tiffany.

 

"Oh, Strawberry please! Thanks, Taetae!" she said as I spotted a smirk forming on Hyoyeon's face when she heard my nickname that Tiffany has given me.

 

"Okay! Be right back!" I said as I went to an ice-cream truck parked outside the park.

Tiffany's POV

 

"Here comes ice-cream!" Taeyeon shouted as she came over with two ice-cream cones in her hand, one strawberry and chocolate.

 

"You don't want any?" I asked her.

 

"I really do but I have no more hands to hold another ice-cream cone..." she said as she pouted cutely, looking a little disappointed.

 

"Well, we can share if you don't mind..." I said as I saw her eyes widen.

 

"Really? Thanks so much Fany! Ice-cream!!!" she started the ice-cream hungrily, she looked like a little kid, she was so cute that I couldn't help but giggle at her dorkiness.

 

She ate half and left the rest for me. I  a few times on the strawberry ice-cream when I noticed Taeyeon was looking at it like she would do anything to get another bite. Even though I wanted the rest of it, I gave the rest to the dorky girl.

 

"Really? Thanks, Fany!!!" she said as she grabbed the ice-cream from my hand and gobbled it down like she hasn't eaten for days.

 

She ate it so messily that ice-cream was all over her face. She looked like a child while savouring her favourite ice cream and simply didn't care how messy it was. I giggled and took out a piece of tissue.

 

"Don't move, Taetae!" I said as I moved my face closer to hers and gently wiped off the ice-cream on her face.

 

When I was almost done with only a patch near her lip left, I looked up into her eyes as I just realized how close we were. I loved the way her chocolate brown eyes sparkled in the light. Whenever we looked deep into each other's eyes, I feel a strange feeling invading my whole body, I can't explain what it is but it feels comfortable and warm. That feeling started to grow within me again as I realized my heart beating faster and faster. Everything seemed to slow down as we continued looking into each other's eyes.

 

 "Gosh... not this feeling again," I thought as I leaned closer to her.

 

"Fany unnie! What are you doing?" Hyoyeon asked as I broke our eye contact and turned to face her.

 

"Oh...em..I was just cleaning your sister's face," I said as I reached and wiped the last patch off.

 

"What is up with you, Hwang Miyoung?! You're going insane lately," I thought as my eyebrows knitted together in frustration.

We sang the birthday song as she put her hands together, intertwined her fingers, closed her eyes and made a wish before blowing the candle. For the rest of the day, we played games together and had lots of fun. Then, we were standing infront of the door, saying good bye to Hyoyeon before we headed back to our dorm.

 

"Bye Hyoyeon! I had a great time today!" I said with a wide smile.

 

"Me too! But.... Do you and Taengoo really have to go?" she said as she pouted.

 

"Ofcourse we do! But I promise I'll visit you little monster whenever I'm free, okay?" Taeyeon asked as Hyoyeon's eyes sparkled upon hearing her reply.

 

"With Fany unnie?" she asked in excitement as she turned to me.

 

"Ofcourse!" I reassured her while I patted her on her head.

 

"Okay! I'm really gonna miss you Taengoo," she said as her voice became softer than before.

 

"I'm gonna miss you too," Taeyeon said as she pulled the little girl closer to her and gave her a tight squeeze for the last time.

 

"Okay, it's getting late, you sleep early, okay? We're going now. Bye, Hyoyeon!" Taeyeon said as she bent forward, giving the little girl a kiss on her forehead.

 

"Bye, Taengoo..." she said as Taeyeon reluctantly pulled away from her and waved before holding my hand and brought me to the taxi stand nearby, never losing her grip.

 

Only until we have finally reached the taxi stand, I looked into her eyes and realized that her eyes were moist and red. She looked at the ground as soon as our eyes met. I turned to her, gently pushed her chin up with my hand so that I could look her in the eye. Tears were trickling down her cheeks  in a split second. She held it in all the way here as she was afraid Hyoyeon might see her like this. Without hesitation, I pulled her into my embrace and squeezed her tightly in my arms. She has always been there for me, so now it's my turn to be there for her.

 

"F...*sob*..Fa...*sob*..." she was crying so badly that she couldn't even say my name properly.

 

"It's okay, I'm here," I tried to comfort her as I squeezed onto her even tighter than before.

 

"Hyo...*sob*..Hyoyeon...*sob*" she sobbed as my heart started to ache upon seeing her in such a state.

 

"I know. I know it's hard to let go, but you must.... We will try visiting her every Saturday, alright? Please don't cry, it's not like you'll never see her again. Stop crying, you babo!" I teased as she pouted childishly.

 

She whispered into my ear, "Yah! I'm just... I'm gonna miss her. I told myself not to cry but I couldn't hold it in anymore. When we said goodbye to her, I saw so much hurt and sadness in her eyes. I didn't want to go too, I didn't want to leave her there...alone. We've always been together but I didn't have a chose."

 

She paused as she let out a deep sigh before continuing, "But it's okay, just like you said, it's not like I'll never get to see her again. Thanks, Fany. I feel a lot better now." 

 

"You're welcome," I said as she pulled away from me.

In the taxi (Taeyeon's POV)

 

As always, when we got onto the taxi, Fany rested her head on my shoulder and went to sleep within minutes as I just stared and admired her beautiful features while she slept. This has become a routine for us whenever we took a taxi.

 

"Thanks so much, Fany.You really know how to make people happy. I've haven't seen Hyoyeon so happy in such a long time. Even I, myself, haven't been so happy in such a long time and this is all because of you. I promise I'll confess to you next week. You'll be mine....and nothing is going to stop me. I love you, Hwang Mi Young..." I thought as I gently rested my head on hers and slowly dozed off to sleep.

Hey Guys! Sorry 4 not updating sooner. I was writing this half way yesterday when my computer hung and my work wasn't saved so I had 2 rewrite the whole thing again...and guess wat?
