Taeyeon's POV

"Hello?! Are you there? Yah! Kim Taeyeon! Are you even listening to what I'm saying?" Yuri exclaimed, snapping Taeyeon out of her deep thoughts.

"Wh...What?" Taeyeon stuttered, surprised by Yuri's sudden yelling.

"Gosh! What's wrong with you, Taeyeon?! You've been so quiet and spacing out most of today!" Yuri exclaimed as the rest sitting around the table nodded in agreement.

"Yeah... You seem to be... troubled," Sunny said.

"I'm not the one who's troubled....." Taeyeon simply replied as she let out a sigh.

"Tiffany, huh?" Jessica asked as Taeyeon simply nodded.

"Ever since this morning, she's been acting really wierd. She's not smiling, not talking much, spacing out all the time, but whenever I ask her if there's something wrong, she just denies and says that she's absolutely fine, even if she isn't," Taeyeon said as she frowned.

"Let her be.... She's usually like this during this period of time," Jessica said, opening as Yuri fed her with a spoon of rice.

"What do you mean by 'this period of time'," Taeyeon asked as Jessica shrugged.

"I actually don't know. I'm her bestfriend, I observe her but whenever she's like this, I never actually dare to ask her about it, so I just keep silent, let her be and she would be fine in a few days' time," Jessica replied as it made Taeyeon sigh again.

"It hurts seeing her like this, I don't even know where is she now. She should be down in the canteen, eating and enjoying her meal like usual but.... she's nowhere to be found. I'm really worried," Taeyeon said, her heart aching as she thought of her angel.

"Well, just let her be for the time being. You can ask her about it after she feels better, I don't think you should ask her now, not when she's in such a state, she might just lose control and ..... you know... So just let her be and give her some time alone, okay?" Jessica asked, opening again for another spoon of rice.

"Well...... I guess this is the best thing for me to do now," Taeyeon said as she closed her eyes and thought about Tiffany.

"I just hope you're alright, Angel..." She whispered to nobody in particular, with a hint of sadness in her tone.

"I guess she's still not back yet..." Taeyeon thought as she pouted and put her bag on the ground.

"Aish....it feels so dull and emtpy without seeing her for the entire day...I'm soooo bored!!" Taeyeon exclaimed and flung herself onto the couch as she picked up the remote control in a swift motion and turned it on with a click of the button.

"Well.... I should just keep myself occupied while waiting for Fany to come back," Taeyeon said, with her eyes on the screen.

One hour passed. Two. Three. She checked the wall clock every now and then and frequently glanced at the door to check if Tiffany would show up the next second, but to no avail. It was getting dark, she was getting more worried by the growing minute. Finally, she lost her patience, picked up her phone on the table and dialed Tiffany's number. It rang and rang but Tiffany didn't pick it up. She clenched her fists as her eyebrows knitted together.

"Where are you, my love? I'm so worried..." The sound of the door unlocking snapped her out of her thoughts.

The door opened, revealing her girlfriend whom she has waited for the past three hours, as she took a step into the dorm. Taeyeon's face lit up upon the sight of her angel, a smile forming on her face quickly. However, her smile soon faded away when she noticed her dormmate's face was wet, her eyes were red and puffy.

"Fany..." Taeyeon called as she immediately rushed over to the girl and embraced her.

Without hesitation, Tiffany wrapped her arms around her tightly as she let all of her tears while they streamed down her beautiful face. It didn't take long for her to start sobbing, sobbing louder and louder as time went by. Taeyeon didn't know what was wrong with her, where she was during the three hours, but they were not important to her at that moment, all she wanted to do was to comfort and calm her girlfriend down.

Seeing her like this, Taeyeon only squeezed onto her even tighter than before, hoping this would sooth the girl, but to no avail. She was crying hysterically, Taeyeon could feel Tiffany's entire body vibrating in arms. It pained her to see her lover like this, the last time she cried like this was the night Siwon dumped her and got molested by that jerk at the alley. Thinking about the incident only made Taeyeon even more frustrated. She couldn't do anything right then, she could only try to calm her down and try to cheer her up later on. 

After some time, Tiffany started calming down, still crying, but not as much as before. Her body stopped vibrating, the room was dead silent. She was no longer sobbing, just quietly crying in Taeyeon's arms. Taeyeon's shirt was getting more drenched but she did not care about it, all that was on her mind was to comfort her lover. Throughout the entire time, Taeyeon never once lost grip of the girl, or even loosening her grip by a little.

After a good ten minutes, Tiffany finally stopped crying, realizing this, Taeyeon slowly pulled away from Tiffany to look her in the eye, but with her arms still around the girl's waist.

"Fany..." Taeyeon called in a worried tone.

Suddenly, she felt a pair of warm and soft lips on hers as her eyes opened wide. While kissing Taeyeon, Tiffany wrapped her arms around her neck as she pulled the older girl closer. Even if Taeyeon didn't think it was a good time to kiss, she couldn't stop herself from responding to the kiss. She pulled the younger girl closer as she wrapped her arms around the girl's waist tighter, to deepen the kiss. After some time, Taeyeon slowly pulled away from the kiss, panting a little and gasping for breath.

Taeyeon looked into her hazel brown eyes as she leaned forward and their foreheads touched. Their faces were so close to each other, both of them could feel the warm breaths teasing each other's lips. Silence filled the air as both of them looked into each other's eyes, without speaking. 

"Taetae..." Tiffany called, with sadness in her voice.

"Yes, my love?" Taeyeon replied as Tiffany embraced her.

It was driving Taeyeon crazy, the sadness, the tears, the strange disappearance and behaviour. She needed to know what was wrong with her girlfriend, she couldn't stand it any more, she needed to know, especially when this involved her girlfriend. 

"Are you okay? What's wrong, Fany? I've been worried about you all day," Taeyeon finally asked the question which has been on her mind the entire day.

Silence filled the room for a while as Taeyeon waited for her girlfriend to reply her. 

"Today's..... my Omma's death anniversary," She whispered as her voice broke when she said 'death'.

Taeyeon's eyes shot wide open as her jaws dropped upon hearing Tiffany's words. Her heart ached terribly as she felt so bad for the girl. She knew she loved her Omma a lot, it would be so painful for her during this period of time.

"It all makes sense now...every year...during this period of time...her strange behaviour, everything," Taeyeon thought as she let out a deep sigh.

"I'm sorry..." Taeyeon apologized as Tiffany frowned.

"Yah! Kim Taeyeon! How many times do I need to tell you to stop apologizing whenever I talk about my Omma?!" Tiffany said.

"...." Taeyeon was speechless, she didn't know what to say next.

"I want to be as truthful to you as possible, I'm your girlfriend, I want you to know everything about me, I don't want to hide anything from you, so stop apologizing, you dork!" Tiffany teased as Taeyeon smiled.

"Gomawo, Angel. I really appreciate your honesty," Taeyeon said.

"I love you, Taetae," Tiffany said sweetly as Taeyeon giggled.

"I love you too, Fany," Taeyeon said with her usual dorky smile.

Tiffany was looking out of the window, looking at the stars shining brightly above her. She smiled bitterly.

"I will be like a star, shining brightly above you and will always be up there looking over you, making sure my baby girl is alright. After I leave, whenever you miss me, you can always look up and look for stars, that's where I will be..." 

Within seconds, a tear fell from Tiffany's eyes without effort as she recalled the last words her Omma told her before she left this world.

"I miss you, Omma," Tiffany whispered to nobody in particular as more tears fell without a sound.

"I'm done with the dishes," Taeyeon said as Tiffany quickly used the back of her hand to wipe away her tears before Taeyeon could see them.

"Oh okay, thanks so much, baby," Tiffany said, with a hint of sadness in her tone.

"It must be so hard for you right now, the pain of losing someone so dear to you and... today's her death anniversary," Taeyeon said as she frowned, she could never imagine losing her own mother like that.

"Taeyeon..." Tiffany called as Taeyeon turned to face her.

"Yes, Fany?" Taeyeon replied, waiting for her to continue.

"Will you ever suddenly leave me one day like how my Omma did? You're the person who mean the most to me right now, I can't imagine what I would do without you... I've lost Omma, I can't lose you too," Tiffany said as her voice started to break and tears streamed down her face in a split second.

"Fany..." Taeyeon said as she rushed over to the girl and squeezed onto her tightly.

"Taetae... I love you, I can't afford to lose you," Tiffany said as more tears fell without warning.

"You pabo, you're not gonna lose me, not that easily, I mean," Taeyeon said as she turned to look her in the eyes.

"Listen, you won't lose me that easily, even if your Appa would torture me and disapproves of our relationship. Even if he forces us to seperate, I would never stop loving you, and nothing is going to change that fact. Don't you worry, my love. Even if we will be forced to seperate in the future, even if I'm physically not beside you, always remember that I would always love you and will be forever in here," Taeyeon said as she pointed to area where Tiffany's heart is.

It didn't take long for more tears to stream down Tiffany's face, this time, they were tears of joy. Tiffany quickly wrapped her arms around the older girl as she finally smiled.

"Gomawo, Taetae! You never fail to make me happy, you dork!" Tiffany teased as Taeyeon pulled away from the hug.

Taeyeon reached for Tiffany's face and brushed her tears away with her thumb. She looked at Tiffany with lots of passion and love in her eyes, so much that Tiffany couldn't help but blush a little.

"As long as you're happy, I'm happy too~" Taeyeon said with an aegyo voice as Tiffany flashed her an eye smile.

"Kya~ How can you be so cute?! OMG! I just wanna pinch your cheeks right now!" Tiffany said as Taeyeon grinned.

Suddenly, Tiffany smirked as Taeyeon's eyes widen upon realization that it wasn't a simple smirk. 

"Oh crap... I know that smirk!" Taeyeon thought as Tiffany smirked even more.

"Yah! Hwang Mi Young! Don't you dare to even step another foot nearer to me!" Taeyeon exclaimed as Tiffany ignored her and stepped closer to the girl.

"Wait! Fany, we can play something else, please! You know I hate this..." Taeyeon trailed off when Tiffany charged at her.

"TICKLE ATTACK!!" Tiffany announced before charging her arms at Taeyeon.

"Ah! Get away from me!" Taeyeon yelled but to no avail.

Just then, she found herself being trapped, there was no way out. She jumped onto the bed as she waved her arms around as she said, "Hwang Mi Young! Drop your weapon!"

Tiffany only smirked, jumped onto the bed and pinned her girlfriend down with both of her hands. Slowly adjusting herself above the girl, she trapped Taeyeon in between her legs, and lifted her arms as she tickled the girl.

"Ahhhh!!!" Taeyeon screamed as she tried struggling her way out, but her attempts were useless.

"Fany, please *giggle* stop!" Taeyeon pleaded as she couldn't stop giggling.

"Nope, unless you....lemme think of a punishment. Oh I know! Wear matching pink shirts for the whole of next week with me," Tiffany said as Taeyeon shook her head.

"What?! *giggle* That's just *giggle* crazy!" Taeyeon said.

"Okay, then I'll just continue to tickle you then," Tiffany threatened as Taeyeon glared at her.

"Fine! *giggle* I promise! *giggle* Please stop! NOW!" Taeyeon pleaded as Tiffany smirked and let go of her.

"Good girl!" Tiffany said as Taeyeon panted heavily on the bed, with arms outstretched.

Tiffany couldn't help but giggle at the sight of her girlfriend in such a state. She leaned in closer to the girl, kneeling on top of Taeyeon, she bent down closer and kissed her passionately on the lips. She could feel Taeyeon smirking in the kiss while Taeyeon quickly kissed her back.

"Thanks for everything, you dork! You never fail to cheer me up! I love you so much!" Tiffany thought as she kissed Taeyeon.
