Author's POV

"Ice koo lim moo! (trying hard to pronounce ice cream)  Mmmmm~~ " a familiar voice said as it woke Tiffany up.

Tiffany opened her eyes but the bright sunlight almost made her blind so she quickly shut her eyes and slowly opening them again, trying to adjust to the sudden change. She brought her hand to her face as she rubbed her eyes with the back of her hand. Then, she reached out both her hands and started stretching. 

Suddenly, her fingers hit something soft and warm. All of a sudden, the entire bed started shaking as moans filled the silence. Realization stuck Tiffany as she remembered she was sleeping with her room mate, but not just any ordinary room mate, it was also her lover and the reason she had woken up.

"I don't care! I want my Ice koo lim moo!" the same voice was heard as Tiffany giggled upon hearing her lover sleep talking.

Tiffany quickly turned to face Taeyeon while she couldn't stop giggling at her dorkiness.

"She's sleep talking about... ice cream?! This kid is so dorky!" Tiffany thought as she couldn't help but giggle at her lover's dorkiness.

"Yah! Don't you dare touch my ice koo lim moo! Wait! Stop! It's mine! Sto-" Taeyeon stopped talking as she woke up from her 'nightmare' and her body bolt right up before hitting onto the bed again. 

"Ow!" She winced in pain as she reached for her injured back.

"Oh my god! Taeyeon! Are you okay?!" Tiffany asked worriedly as she moved closer to her.

"Oh... my back... it's just... aching from last night...," Taeyeon said shyly.

"See! I told you I could walk on my own! You didn't need to carry me to the car! You're injured! Look at what has happened!" Tiffany nagged at Taeyeon.

"Pabo!" Tiffany teased as she playfully hit Taeyeon's head.

Taeyeon pouted dorkily as she argued,"Yah! Hwang Mi Young! You were so scared to even move! I had to carry you before that man gets up! You should be thankful!" 

Tiffany couldn't help but giggle at her dorkiness, she was only teasing her but Taeyeon sounded so serious.

"I'm just teasing you! Ofcourse I'm thankful! It was really sweet of you, Taetae~ Even if it was foolish.. it was super sweet!" Tiffany said cutely while the 'angry' Taeyeon soften up a little.

"Yah! But you still called me pabo!" Taeyeon pretended to be angry, crossing her arms.

Tiffany moved her head closer to the older girl as she looked her in the eyes and flashed the sweetest smile she could ever give as her eyes intantly turned into beautiful arcs.

"Taetae.." She called in her aegyo voice which she knew would always soften the older girl or get her attention.

"Y....Yeah?" Taeyeon stuttered, almost melting from the younger girl's aegyo.

"You're not just any ordinary pabo.... you're my pabo... the one and only... remember that!" Tiffany said in the cutest aegyo voice she could make as Taeyeon almost fainted at her cuteness.

"I love you, Kim Pabo!" Tiffany said in the sweetest voice Taeyeon has ever heard.

Taeyeon was so overwhelmed with her lover's cuteness and sweetness that she could not even reply the three simple words back. Taeyeon leaned forward, never breaking eye contact with each other, their lips less than 3 centimetres apart, she smiled before closing her eyes and meeting Tiffany's lips with hers. Tiffany immediately kissed her back, slowly and gently. Both the girls' faces were burning as if they were on fire, their hearts were racing with their lips moving in sync. The kiss was like no other, it was slow, gentle, sweet and gave both of them a strange electric feeling.

Tiffany came to like this feeling, it was so different from any kiss with Siwon, the feeling just wasn't there, but this, this was exactly like how Tiffany's mother had always described her first kiss with her father before she passed away, and she knew, she has found the one to make her feel this way, that electric feeling, making her blush, that strange yet comfortable feeling that she had figured that it was love, the one that she's destined to be with, Kim Taeyeon.

After a few seconds, Taeyeon pulled away gently, slowly opening her eyes as she looked into her lover's hazel brown eyes. 

"I love you too, my angel," Taeyeon said sweetly as Tiffany's face started heating up again.

Siwon has said those words for at least a hundred times to her before, but even if you add all of them up, they are still not as sincere as the words that has just come out from Taeyeon's mouth. Tiffany couldn't help but flash another eye smile at her lover, this time brighter than before.

During Recess

"Oh my god! No! Are you serious?!" Sunny exclaimed.

The Shikshin almost choked on her food while she was swallowing her food, upon hearing the breaking news.

"Why would I lie about something like this?" Yuri said while Jessica is just minding her own business and day dreaming while the rest were chatting.

"Taeyeon?! Kim Taeyeon?! But... they were fighting, weren't they?" Sooyoung asked.

"Yeah... but.. she was still very concerned about Tiff when I told her that Tiffany went to the bar alone... Taeyeon got injured but I have no idea what happened..." Jessica finally decided to join the conversation.

"I hear someone calling my name! You're not talking bad about me, are you?" Taeyeon asked as she joined the group with Tiffany following closely behind her.

The sight of them coming to the canteen together made everyone on the table grin, they finally got their TaeNy back.

"Looks like you guys have finally come back together! That's awesome!" Yoona said before she gobbled down her sandwitch.

"Oh my goodness! Unnie! What happened to your hands?! And Taeyeon unnie! Your face looks like you have been beaten up!" Seohyun asked worriedly as she noticed the multiple plasters on Tiffany's hands and legs and Taeyeon's multiple bruises near and her arms.

"Oh.... well... yesterday when I went to the bar to look for.... Siwon... I found out that he was cheating on me with another girl and I was so upset that I ran away and cried in the dark alley... but then... a creepy man came to me, he was really nice at first but then he suddenly pounced onto me and molested me..." Tiffany stuttered, feeling very uncomfortable about the incident, she was still traumatized by the incident.

Knowing that Tiffany was very uncomfortable with the topic, Taeyeon continued after her," And I heard her scream so I ran to the alley and found the man on top of her, I was so angry that I ran straight to him and punched him in the face, then kicked him and kneed him in his stomach. However, he attacked me back when I was not paying attention and punched me in the face... I landed heavily onto the floor so my back still hurts."

Silence filled the air as everyone was too shocked to even utter another word or move an inch. They didn't know so many things have happened last night until then, only Yuri, even when Jessica asked her, she only said very briefly about Taeyeon being injured. 

"Oh my god...." Sunny exclaimed, she didn't know what else to say.

"Well.... I know all this sounds bad... really bad... but," Taeyeon paused and turned to face Tiffany and smiled before continuing,"the pain I suffered, or I am still suffering now, was all worth it.... because I finally won the heart of the girl of my dreams, Hwang Mi Young." 

The rest looked at the couple with wide eyes and jaws almost dropping off. They couldn't believe what they have just been told.

"Wait...hold up! You guys are......." Yuri asked as her brain was trying to process what was going on.

The couple could only smile shyly at the rest while Taeyeon reached for Tiffany's hand and intertwined them before she answered,"Yes.... we're officially TaeNy."

The silence was instantly broken by the loud cheers of the group, they all knew this day would come.

"Yay! Oh my god! Tiff, you finally open you eyes and see who's the real person who deserves you, not Siwon but Taeyeon!" Sunny said as she hugged Tiffany.

"You mean you knew that she liked me?" Tiffany asked, surprised.

"Ofcourse! I knew for quite a while now! She just didn't want me to tell you, but I've always tried to give you hints, but they never seem to work since you were so in love with Mr Hot-basketball-team-captain!" Sunny said as she stuck her tongue out playfully at Tiffany.

"I'm sorry... I was so oblivious to Taeyeon's feelings and my own too! I've always secretly liked you, I just didn't see it as it seemed almost impossible... but now.. I am sure... you are the one for me...I love you, Taetae!" Tiffany said as the rest giggled at how cute the couple is.

Taeyeon's face was as red as a tomato while the rest laughed even more at Taeyeon suddenly being so shy, they were not used to it.

"Oh my god! You guys are sooo cute~" Seohyun said as both the girls' faces were burning.

"I'm so happy for you,Tiff! I know you'll be very happy with Taeyeon, she'll take good care of you and I don't need to worry about leaving you in the wrong hands," Jessica said as Tiffany embraced her.

"Aw~ Thanks Jessie! I know she will," Tiffany said as Jessica pulled away from her and turned to Taeyeon.

"You better treat her well! If I know that you do anything to upset her, you're gonna get it from me, you hear me munchkin?!" Jessica pretended to sound threatening while teasing the petite girl at the same time.

"Yah! Who are you calling munchkin?! Ofcourse I will treat her well!" Taeyeon argued as everyone broke into laughter.

"Are you going to see a doctor about your back?" Yuri asked worriedly.

"No, I don't think there's a need to spend money on this, I just need to let it heal by itself," Taeyeon answered as Tiffany frowned.

"Yah! Are you crazy, Kim Taeyeon?! Don't you know how important your back is?! I don't care, I'm gonna force you to  go down to a pharmacy to get you some medicine for your back tomorrow, you hear me?!" Tiffany commanded.

"What?! But..." Taeyeon tried to argue but was cut off by her girlfriend,"No buts! It's settled!"

Taeyeon could only sigh in defeat, after all, Tiffany was just caring about her health. The rest watched the couple while they smiled and giggled at how cute they looked together.

"You know... I actually want to thank Siwon," Taeyeon suddenly blurt out, surprising everyone.

"What?!" Everyone shouted in unison.

"I mean.... it was because of him... that made me realize I can treat Tiffany better than any other guy on Earth... He gave me courage to finally tell Tiffany how I feel about her... without yesterday's incident... I would've continued to wait for the right moment to tell Tiffany, it would be a long time... and maybe when the time comes.. it would already be too late. The pain I'm feeling right now, all the pain is all worth it as I finally won the heart of an angel, my angel, Tiffany Hwang Mi Young." Taeyeon said with sincerity.

Tiffany was so touched that she couldn't contain her feelings. Tears swam in her eyes, threatening to fall off the edge of her eye any second. Nobody has ever said something so sweet and sincere to her before. A lot of boys have said even sweeter things, but none of them ever seemed sincere. However, Taeyeon's words were so sincere and sweet that she couldn't help tearing up. Without hesitation, she opened her arms and squeezed the older girl beside her while the oldr girl quickly wrapped her arms around Tiffany. 

"I love you so much, Taeyeon... Why didn't I know? Why was I so oblivious? I should've known," Tiffany said as tears finally streamed down her face.

Taeyeon squeezed onto her angel even tighter as she whispered back," It's not your fault."

Taeyeon pulled partially away from the girl, with her arms still around the girl's waist, so that she could look her in the eye.

"That's the past now, all that matters is that you and I are finally together after all that has happened. And I won't take any of this forgranted. I know I may not be the best boyfriend in the world, but I promise to be there for you, cherish you, cheer you up when you are down, make you the happiest girl on Earth, protect you, never ever let you get hurt. I will always love you, my angel! Never, ever, forget that," Taeyeon whispered into Tiffany's ears as Tiffany started crying even more and embrace the girl again, this time longer than before.

"Thank you so much, Taetae... I'm so glad to have met you and be with you... I will always love you! I know you will too, I won't ever forget it!" Tiffany thought as she continued to enjoy Taeyeon's comfortable and warm embrace.
