Tiffany's POV

 

The nurse just gave me my medicine and I am now lying in the comfortable bed with a super cozy blanket covering my whole body, from the tip of my toes to my neck. The nurse left the room so I could rest. My bones were still aching everywhere so no matter how much I tried to fall asleep, I couldn't. I tried closing my eyes but the first thing that pops up in my head is my dorm mate.

 

I started to think about that girl. I started to miss her comfortable and warm embrace even though she has just left an hour ago. I wasn't used to being in the room all by myself. Taeyeon was always there to talk to me or even while she was doing her homework quietly, atleast I knew she was there. But now, she wasn't. Truthfully saying, the silence in the room was seriously creeping me out. I was lonely.

 

"I wished you were here, Taetae... I'm so bored now... You're always there to talk to me when I'm lonely..." I thought as I sighed.

 

I missed that dork's presence already, and I still have a long way to go until school ends.

 

"Wow....I guess it's gonna be a long day, huh? I'm so bored... I think I should get some rest to kill time..." I thought as I closed my eyes.

 

I leaned back onto my pillow and cleared my mind. This time, I felt the medicine taking it's effect on me as I became drowsy and fell asleep very quickly.

"Kock kock kock!" someone knocked on the door as I slowly opened my eyes.

 

I rubbed my eyes with the back of my hand and a familiar boy entered the room and sat on the chair beside my bed.

 

"Hey, babe! I heard from my friends that the little brat carried you to the hospital while you were unconscious! Are you okay?!" He asked worriedly as he put his hand on my face.

 

"Choi Siwon! How many times must I tell you not to call her that?! ........I'm fine, don't worry," I said.

 

"I'm sorry, babe... c'mon, please don't be angry! I'm sorry, okay?" he said.

 

"Fine! I'm just glad that you're here!" I said as I smiled.

 

"Ofcourse! You're my girlfriend! And I care alot about you!" he said as he bent forward and tilted his head.

 

I realized what he was going to do and reached out just in time to stop him.

 

"Siwon! We're in school! And this is a hospital!" I exclaimed.

 

"So what? C'mon babe, it's not like someone will see us, we're in a room by ourselves! It's a perfect time! C'mon babe, I only have time with you during recess, I have intensive training after school so I won't be able to spend time with you anymore....Please babe!" he begged as I hesitated.

 

"Well....Nobody's gonnna know about this anyway..." I thought as I sighed.

 

"Okay..." I said as he smirked.

 

He bent forward, tilted his head, closed his eyes, brought his hands to my face and kissed me hungrily on the lips as if he was waiting to do this for quite some time already. I was so shocked that I could barely move my lips so he did all the work.

 

He was such a great kisser, I could tell he was really experienced by the way he kissed me so the rumors about him being a player might be true. However, I wanted to believe in my boyfriend rather than others so I continue to let him kiss me and pushed that thought away from my mind for the time being but made a mental note to myself to ask him personally about it the next time. Now, I just wanted to enjoy the moment with our lips together.

 

I pulled away from him a few seconds later to catch my breath. He smirked and went back to his original position, satisfied with his kiss that he waited so long for.

 

"You're such a good kisser," I said shyly as he smirked again.

 

"Thank you," he said.

 

Suddenly, the door opened and revealed the person I wanted to see the most now. I smiled as soon as I saw her.

 

"Taetae! You're here!" I exclaimed as she smiled back to me.

 

"Hey Fany!" she said as she pushed the door open more so that she could enter the room but her face changed as she looked at the person I just kissed a few moments ago. The look on her face was so different from the normal looks on her face, I couldn't read it.

Taeyeon's POV

 

I broke eye contact with the guy I was angry at and my gaze soften when my eyes landed back on my angel again. I walked towards her as I tried my best to fake a smile, and amazingly, she didn't notice anything. I took out the container of porridge and placed it on the table beside her bed.

 

I opened my mouth and wanted to speak when Siwon stood up abrubtly and cut me off, "Oh I need to go for class now, I'm sorry Fany, since Taeyeon's already here, I'm leaving now."

 

"What? So soon? But you just arrived a minute ago!" Tiffany said as I looked around the room but there was no wall clock to check the time.

 

"I'm sorry, babe. I have to go now before I'm late for class, take care of yourself okay?" he said.

 

"Okay..." she replied, feeling disappointed.

 

Although I hated him to stay with my Mi Young, I also didn't want to see her disappointed and sad. I sighed and asked coldly, " Can't you just stay for a few more minutes?"

 

"I'm really sorry but I can't, I have to go now..." he said.

 

"Okay....bye Siwon..." she said in a sad tone.

 

"Bye, babe..." he said as he turned and opened the door, waved goodbye to my angel before closing the door.

 

My angel let out a deep sigh as pain grew in my chest the more I looked at her in this state. I checked my watch for the time as my eyes widen and jaw dropped.

 

"That jerk! He totally fooled us by his amazing acting! There's still 25 more minutes before lesson starts! That jerk! He just made up a lie and left his sick girlfriend on the hospital bed like that! Grrr! Choi Siwon!" I thought as I clenched my fists and stood up abrubtly.

 

"Fany, please excuse me, I need to go to the ladies'," I said in my normal calm tone so she would not suspect anything.

 

"Okay, come back soon!" she said as I faked as smile and left the room as soon as possible.

 

Down the hall way, I could still see the person I was finding for, taking his own sweet time strolling to the counter. Anger took over me as I stormed towards him, grabbed mercilessly tight onto his wrist and turned him around to face me. I glared at him as he looked shocked at my sudden appearance.

 

"Where do you think you're going?!" I asked coldly as I gave him the final chance to say the truth.

 

"To my class to have lessons?" he asked me back as rage built up within me.

 

"Still lying to me after I've given you a chance to say the truth? Not smart, Siwon. Not smart at all....because you have just released........... Hell-Taeyeon!" I thought as I smirked at him.

 

"Do you really think I'm as easy to fool as Tiffany?! She just loves you so much that she trusts you and believes every single lie you tell her! But sadly, I'm not....So why the hell are you leaving her when she's in a freaking hospital bed when she needs her lover the most to comfort her?! Huh?! Choi Siwon?!" I snapped at him as the nurses turned all their attention to me but I didn't care anymore.

 

"I did come and asked her whether she was okay right? I've already done my job. What's the big deal?!" he said as I got even more angry and tightened my grip onto his wrist.

 

"What?! For what? A freaking minute?! If you truly care and love her, you'll stay by her side and be there for her when she needs you the most, and right now, SHE NEEDS YOU THE MOST YOU FREAKING JERK!!!" I barked as this attracted more people's attention.

 

"Well.... I did what I needed to do, okay? So just let me go! There's no point in staying with her anyway when I can't even help her to heal! I'm not a healer or a wizard...I'm just wasting my time! I would rather go down to the canteen, sit there and eat until recess is over..." he said as anger got the best of me.

 

My fists were vibrating so vigorously. I couldn't hold the anger in me anymore. My fist went straight to his face but unfortunately got stopped by his hands in the process. I  tried to push my fist nearer to his face with all my might but to no avail, he was too strong. I couldn't contain my anger anymore, I needed to blurt it all out at his face.

 

"How can you treat her like this?! Why can't you see how lucky you are to have her love you?! What is your freaking problem?! Why can't you atleast treat her the way she deserves to be treated?! I hate you!!!" I shouted as tears swam in my eyes, tears of anger.

 

The nurses came running towards us as they knew our conversation had become too intense and had to be broken up before someone gets hurt.

 

"This is a hospital, so break it up! You wanna fight then get out of here!" the nurse shouted as Siwon just rolled his eyes.

 

"Whatever, I'm going out," he said and left without making eye contact with me.

 

"I'm..s...sorry.." I apologized with an unstable voice as I was holding my tears back.

 

I couldn't let her see them falling, I couldn't show her my weak side so I quickly ran towards the toilet, ran straight into a cubicle and locked myself inside it.

 

I was finally in the toilet, my shelter, to hide and protect me from the whole world out there. I could stop putting on an act for others and show my true feelings freely when I'm in here. I felt safe and protected. To me, this was heaven.

 

Ensuring that the door was securely locked, I 'took off my mask' and started pouring out all of my anger. Tears streamed down my face endlessly as I clenched my fists tightly.

 

"Why?! Why must you be such a jerk?! Can't you see how much Fany loves you?! Are you really that blind?! Or are you really that heartless?! Huh?! Choi Siwon?!" I whispered as my fists hit heavily onto the poor wall.

 

"Why?! Why?! Why must you be like this?! Why can't you see how lucky you are to have her love you back?! Why?! Why can't you atleast treat her the way she deserves to be treated?! You dare call yourself her boyfriend when you don't even seem to care about her well-being?! You're such a jerk!" I thought as I punched onto the wall harder and harder.

 

"You're her freaking boyfriend for crying out loud! Why don't you seem to care and protect her?! Why do you keep thinking about yourself more than her?! Huh?! You don't even deserve the title! You freaking bastard! I don't even know why you can be such a jerk!" I thought as I punched the wall even more rapidly as more tears fell without sound.

 

I stopped punching the wall after I got tired. I panted heavily, catching my breath. However, my tears didn't stop flowing and I took no effort to stop it. I just let them all out, the pain, the sorrow I have been keeping inside of me all this time, hidden away from others by 'putting on a mask' infront of them, they were all being released. I sat down on the floor as I leaned against the wall.

 

I checked the time and realized I was gone for 5 minutes already.

 

"Tiffany might have been wondering where I had been taking such a long time, I better go back now..." I thought as I took some tissue paper and wiped my drenched eyes before unlocking the door and entering the world outside again.

 

I went straight back to Tiffany's room and knocked onto the door. I opened it as the door revealed a worried looking girl laying on the bed, deep in thought. She looked up and frowned as soon as she noticed me.

 

"Yah! Kim Taeyeon! Where have you been?! I've been worried sick about you!" she complained as I smiled a little, glad she was worried about me.

 

"Oh I em...I was talking to my classmate after I came out of the toilet.." I lied as I walked towards her.

 

"Taetae! Your eyes! They're so red! What happened?!" she asked worriedly as I started to panic.

 

"Oh nothing...it just started to become really itchy so I scratched it and it became red.." I lied again.

 

She didn't seem convinced by my lie so I tried to divert her attention away from this topic.

 

"Well, I've made you some fish porridge!" I said as I went over to the table where I last left it and brought it infront of the girl.

 

Her face instantly changed as she looked at the porridge with disgust.

 

"Ew! I hate porridge! Can't I eat something else, Taetae?!" she asked as I sighed.

 

"The nurse says that you can only eat porridge for the time being...so sorry Fany..c'mon, it's not that bad.." I said as she frowned.

 

"It's porridge, I hate porridge! I really don't wanna eat it, I would rather starve!" she said as I looked into her eyes.

 

"Fany ah~ You know I'm not gonna let you starve, and it is good for you, you must eat it no matter you like it or not....c'mon Fany..." I said as she bit on her lip.

 

"Well.....since you've prepared it for me.....I'll eat it......for you," she said as she flashed me her eye smile again.

 

I giggled and said, "Good girl," before patting her head.

 

I took off the cover, took the spoon and scooped up some hot porridge. I blew it a few times, making sure it is not too hot for my angel.

 

"Okay, open up!" I said as she opened slowly.

 

I put the spoon inside of but she refused to swallow the porridge down.

 

"Fany! Don't be like this, c'mon, swallow it," I said but she shook her head cutely so I added two words to my sentence, "For me..."

 

Right after I said the two words, she frowned and started to swallow it down. Her eyes widen as I was confused by her unexpected reaction.

 

"It's not that bad, isn't it?" I asked.

 

"It's...It's..." she stopped and continued,"So good..."

 

I smiled instantly, glad she has enjoyed her food.

 

"How did you make this, Taetae? I've always hated porridge until I've tasted yours....Yours is simply too good to be true..." she praised as I started to blush.

 

"Stop flattering me, I know I'm not that good..." I said.

 

"No, you're really good at cooking, Taetae! I'm serious!" she complimented me as my face started to burn.

 

"Okay okay, stop complimenting me already, I'm blushing like crazy!" I said as she giggled.

 

"You never fail to make me laugh, you dork!" she teased as I smiled.

 

"Well....that's my specialty!" I said as I gave her my usual dorky smile and she giggled again as her eyes instantly turned into cresent moons.

 

Although I was in sad just now, it all seemed to fade away the more I stared at her beauiful eye smile. Whenever she smiles, she never fails to take my breath away. Her eyes, so beautiful, so rare, so precious. I could just stare at them for the whole day if she let me. She always had this power to make me happy just by knowing that she, herself, is happy too.

 

Then, she suddenly reached her hand to , used her index finger amd pointed at , asking for more porridge. I couldn't help but smile at her cuteness, she really looked like a five years old little girl asking her mother to feed her more food.

 

I scooped up more porridge as I put it in and her eyes instantly disappeared as cresent moons replaced them. She looked so cute I just felt like pinching her cheeks.

 

"Taetae..." she called.

 

"Yes?" I asked, waiting for her to continue.

 

"Have you had you breakfast yet?" she asked as I froze.

 

"Em..." I hesitated.

 

"The truth," she said.

 

"No...." I answered honestly.

 

"Lunch?" she asked as I bit on my lower lip, I wanted to say I did but that would be lying and I have already lied to her too much today, I didn't want to lie to her anymore.

 

"No..." I said as she frowned.

 

"Why didn't you?" she asked.

 

"Well....because I was too busy taking care of you in the morning and making you your porridge just now that I forgot to eat...." I said as her gaze soften.

 

"Taeyeon.... You babo! You're really sweet.. I'm really thankful to have such a great dorm mate like you, to be there for me when I need you, to cook for me, take care of me...but... you also have to think about yourself sometimes..." she said as pressed a red button on the wall at the side of the bed.

 

Within seconds, a nurse came barging into the room as she looked at Tiffany and sighed in relief.

 

"Miss Hwang, please do not press the emergency button when you don't have an emergancy," she said.

 

"Sorry, nurse Amy, I just wanted to ask whether you could get me a bowl and a spoon," Tiffany asked in an angellic voice.

 

The nurse's gaze soften upon hearing her voice and she smiled.

 

"Sure, anything for you, just ask your friend to go to the counter and ask me personally if you need assistance next time okay? We take the emergancy button very seriously in the hospital," she asked as Tiffany nodded cutely.

 

The nurse left the room to get the things that Tiffany wanted and I looked at my angel proudly.

 

"That's the power of Hwang Mi Young right there! Your cuteness just melts everyone's heart..." I thought as I smiled to myself.

 

"Why do you want them for?" I asked but she just smiled at me.

 

"You'll know..." she said.

 

The nurse came back with the bowl and spoon that Tiffany has requested and left the room after passing them to me.

 

"Sit," Tiffany ordered cutely as she pointed to the chair beside the bed.

 

"Yes ma'am!" I played along as I gave her a salute.

 

Without hesitation, I walked over to it and sat down.

 

"Hand them over," she ordered as I did as told.

 

She then took the porridge I have placed on the table earlier when the nurse gave me the bowl and spoon and tranfered some of the porridge from the container into the bowl and placed the half filled container back on the table.

 

"Since you have fed me, it's my time to feed you now," she said.

 

"What? It's okay, Fany, it's for you, I'll eat later," I said.

 

"But you won't have time to eat later...and I don't have the appetite to finish eating all of the porridge so they will go to waste... c'mon Taetae! Please!" she pleaded as she pouted cutely.

 

I hesitated but soon gave in when she said those familiar two words," For me."

 

"What? You cheeky girl, you're using my method against me?" I thought as I smirked.

 

I knew I could never say no when she has said those two powerful words.

 

"Fine," I said as she smiled.

 

She scooped up the porridge from the bowl and put it infront of my mouth. Without saying another word, I opened my mouth as she put it into my mouth. At that moment, we looked into each other's eyes as I froze in that position. My heart started beating faster and faster as I felt my face was burning up. I have never broken eye contact for even a second.

 

I couldn't even move an inch. The spoon was still in my mouth and I couldn't even swallow the porridge down. It was as if time had stopped. I didn't even blink. I had the urge to lean forward, close my eyes and touch her lips with mine.

 

"Wait! Kim Taeyeon! She has a boyfriend! Snap out of it before you regret it for life!" I thought as my eyes widen at how close I was to making a mistake I would regret for life and quickly broke eye contact with her.

 

When I looked back at her, she had a confused look on her face. She pulled the spoon out of my mouth as I could finally swallow the porridge.

 

"It's good..." I said, trying to act like nothing has happened.

 

"I told you! But..Taetae..Are you okay?" she asked, conused by my wierd behaviour.

 

"I'm.....fine..." I lied again, hoping that she would stop asking.

 

It worked, she believed me as I picked up the container of porridge, scooped up some and put it into . She swallowed as she scooped up some from the bowl and fed them to me again.

 

Every mouth of the porridge was simply the best I've ever tasted. Not because of the porridge itself but the person who fed me. I felt like the luckiest person on Earth, to be able to be fed by an angel. For a moment, I totally forgot about all my troubles and just savoured every single mouth of the world's best porridge.

 

Just like this, she scooped some and fed me, I scooped some and fed her, we continued this cycle until we finished all of the porridge. If people saw us like this, they would think that we're a couple. I couldn't help but smile at that thought.

 

I felt so blessed to be able to be fed by an angel.

Recess soon came to an end as I was reluctant to go. I didn't want to leave her here alone, especially when I know how lonely she can be when she's alone. But I had to.

 

"Fany.....It's time for me to go..." I said as she frowned.

 

"Can't you just stay a little while longer?" she asked.

 

I checked my watch, I still had five minutes to spare.

 

"Okay, but just a while longer.." I said as she grinned.

 

"Taetae, come here," she said as she patted on a spot beside her on the bed.

 

I got up and sat on the spot as she pouted.

 

"Can you sleep with me?" she asked as my jaw dropped.

 

"What?!" I shouted.

 

"I sleep better when I sleep with you...." she explained as I hieved a sigh of relief.

 

"Kim Taeyeon! Stop thinking sick, will you?! You gave me a heart attack!" I thought, mentally scolding my sick mindedness.

 

"Sure," I said as I lied down on the bed right beside her.

 

I turned to face her as she slowly closed her eyes. Suddenly, I felt her shivering as I instinctively put my arm around her and pulled her into my embrace. She stopped shivering as I kept my arm around her. I just looked at her while she slept. She looked so innocent and sweet that I couldn't stop staring at her. If she had wings, she would literally be an angel already.  Suddenly, she opened her eyes as she looked into mine.

 

"Thank you....Taetae....For taking care of me when I am weak, for being there for me when I need you, for cooking for me, for carrying me to the hospital personally even when I told you not to...you're the sweetest dorm mate anyone could ever have....I feel so blessed to have you, Taetae...." she whispered as I melted upon hearing her super sweet words.

 

"Thanks.......for everything..." she whispered as I would totally be liquified if I was ice.

 

"No problem, Fany!" I whispered back as she closed her eyes again but this time, slower and with a sweet smile on her face.

 

We stayed in that position for the next few minutes as I was afraid I would wake her up. After I checked my watch and figured it was time for me to go, I slowly and gently raised my arm that I put around her and slowly got out of bed, without waking up the girl.

 

I grabbed onto the blanket and carefully covered it over her body so she would not be cold. I looked at my angel.

 

"Sleep tight, my angel... You're welcome as all that I've done for you was all worth it...To see you happy...That's the best thing I could ever wish for, even if you don't feel the same way I do to you.... All I want is you to be happy... Take care of yourself when I'm gone, okay? I promise I will rush back to see you after school! Don't worry..." I thought as I bent down and planted a long and sweet kiss on her forehead.

 

"I love you so much, don't you know, Fany ah?" I whispered and smiled to myself.

 

I walked to the door, turned to look at my sleeping beauty sleeping soundly on the bed with a blanket covering her body, with a sweet smile on her face, for the last time. I smiled to myself again as I twisted the door knob, opened the door, closed it and went back to my classroom with a grin on my face.
