-Early August, Korea 2006-
“Ri In, the recording session had ended and we’ll start editing today,” Manager Min, Ri In’s manager who loves her very much as if she’s her daughter. “‘Timeless’ and ‘Why’ will be release online on the 15th of September for free download. That’s all for today, you may go back and have some rest. Be careful on the way home.”

“I’ll look after her, Manager Min,” Junsu assured as he stared down to the looking tired Ri In.

“Make sure you take good care of her surrounding and not only having your eyes on her all the time,” Manager Min teased as she stepped out from the recording room.

Junsu held on her hand then interlocking them as he have a warm smile escaping his lip, “Let’s have something before we head back.”

She shook her head reluctantly. Deep in her heart, she wished to spend more time with him but somehow; her mind just filled with fear that sooner or later their relationship will attract netizens attention if they continue not being aware.

Knowing the exact thought she’s having in her mind, he wears on a cap for Ri In and pulled it lower. “With this you don’t need to be worried that others would see us.”

Ri In stared up on her cap she’s wearing then glance over to Junsu, on the verge of breaking down, “What’s the use of me wearing it when you are the one who is well known…”

“I have one too,” he wears it on, once again having their fingers interlocked tightly, “You have no more excuses to refuse going out, isn’t it?” pulling her out from the recording room, he mumbled, “It’s been way too long we did not have the time spending together, alone. I won’t want miss this chance.”

As they were walking down to the hallway, coincidently, Taeyeon was on her way to the recording room. She was about to wave hi to Junsu but he was too focused at the person he deeply in love with, to see Taeyeon walking pass him. Seeing him not even having a glance on her, the smile that was filled with hope faded right away. Realizing how tight their each of their fingers was interlocked, it pains her heart more. How she wishes the person he’s having is her instead Ri In. Although they were walking in a rather fast pace, yet Ri In could see the change of face expression in Taeyeon. She turned her head and bowed before stepping into the elevator.

“Hey,” Ri In hits on his chest as he was looking up on the little screen that showing which floor they are reaching. He turned to her with his goggled face while bringing his arm to rubs on his chest, “What’s that for?”

“Didn’t you see Taeyeon shi was waving at you, awhile ago?” Ri In frowned.

Junsu raised one of his brows, “I missed that…”

“You better find a chance to apology,” Ri In hissed as she stepped out the elevator along with Junsu.

“Yalah…I will, let’s get going,” Junsu getting annoyed, “The time left is not much. I’ll definitely send her a sorry but for now please don’t talk about anyone, only us.”
Ri In can’t help letting a blissful smile escaping her lip.

“You need to eat more,” Junsu keep feeding Ri In as if she’s a three year old kid, “Look how small your wrists are.”

“Enough,” Ri In said as she backed away from Junsu. Mouth filled with food. “Manager Min said my current weight is nice enough. I can’t be getting any fatter or I’ll be scolded.” She frowned sternly at Junsu while slightly pushing off his hand as he reached out his hand with another full spoon of rice.

“What about going to shopping complex?” Junsu asked out of the blue that made Ri In darted up her eyes to see Junsu, “Are you serious? At this late time you want to go there?”

“Still worried about the paparazzi?” Junsu reached across the table and took a hold on her hand and giving it a squeeze. “No one will notice us…”

“You sure,” Ri In frowned worriedly. Once again, she filled herself with pensive thoughts.

After dinner, they wandered around in the shopping complex nearby their apartment. As they walked pass a music instrument shop, Ri In pulled him back and she have her stare on the pure white piano.

“Have a closer look,” he motioned her with his left hand to enter the shop. Taking a seat on the chair, Junsu sits her down next to him as he started to play ‘Canon’, the music that Ri In love the most.

He grabbed hold on her hand and placed it delicately on the keys, “I’m sure you know how to play. Let’s play…”

They were happily playing on the piano that they did not realize they had been followed by someone. It was totally unexpected. Of course they did not know nor would they able to think she’s doing this. Little do they know, they are doomed; trapped into a cave that would ruin their relationship?

“Yah, you have much fun already,” Ri In stretched out her hands restlessly and Junsu pulled them back as he stopped walking.

Looking down on the hands he’s holding on, he then looked up, “There’s something I want to give you.” he took out a ring from his jean pocket and show it right in front of her face. “This ring, another item to symbolize our love,” he said as he brought up her hand to ring it into her finger.

“Hey, are you using a ring to chain me up? A dolphin ring,” she looked into his eyes, questioningly.

“Shouldn’t you get something to chain me too?” Junsu leaned in with a smirk growing on face, “Or you might lose me easily since I’ve uncountable good qualities.”

Ri In pouted with smile along, “How am I supposed to get you something all of sudden.”

“Then you shall give me a kiss in order to keep me waiting for that,” Junsu said, a mischievous smirk escaped his lip.

“Go away, annoying,” Ri in pushed him away and turned around to make her way back to the apartment building’s main gate. As Junsu sees her heading off, he held on her wrist and turned her around. Encircling his arm on her waist, he pulled her over and leaned in to meet her lip. He can’t be bothered if there’s any of his colleagues saw them. He just can’t hold back his love to her.

Catching their breath, Ri In blushed at his sudden move. She had never being able to get to predict what this guy who having her in his arms securely, thinking what.

Rubbing on her cheeks, Junsu smirked “Since when did you use lip gloss?”

Ri In widened her eyes as she rubs his lip, “I’m exploding soon…”

He held her hands and placed on his chest as he tightened his hug, “Li Yin, I love you…”

Junsu’s embracement warms her from the autumn breeze. Stepping on the shriveled leafs, the girl who hid behind the huge tree made her way back to the apartment building as she has gotten enough for today. She happily hopped around her apartment. Not knowing someone coming into her approaching way, she bumped into her and the camera slipped off her hand.

Could it be consider fortunately or unfortunately, Yoona caught hold on it. “Yah Jessica, why are you jumping around? It’s going into midnight twelve and you’re behaving like a ghost…”

“Do you see ghost jump around?” Jessica’s eyes squinted looking at Yoona.

“What’s this?” Yoona was about to switch on the camera.

“NO!” Jessica snatched it back, “It’s mine…”

“What’s that? pictures, can’t I have a look?” Yoona frowned.

“Autumn sceneries,” Jessica walked back way, “I’m going to sleep…”

Finally the day of Ri In’s debut has arrived. In order to market her in Korea, SM Entertainment has dubbed her as ‘China Boa’ which has made many of them noticed about Ri In’s presence. Despite gaining some little tiny popularity from that deemed by Lee Soo Man, yet two weeks later, Boa’s fans who had yearning for her voice was rather agitated by the name given to Ri In. One week ago, Lee Soo Man had passed his CEO position to Kim Young Gi, who is Taeyeon’s uncle. However, back to the main point, using another way of placing Ri In in to the Korean Entertainment world, they put Junsu together in her very first single.

However, after one month of promoting without making her appearance in any music show only with the digital released, Ri In’s two songs in this single had broke record. With the songs only released for two hours, it had attracted 500 000 people download the songs. At first, they thought ‘Timeless’ would be song be downloaded the most but apparently, ‘Y (Why)’ also became everyone’s favourite. Today, performing in MBC Music Core will marked Ri In’s official debut.

“Ri In, your hands are shivering,” Yoochun said, he was in a goggled expression to see her in this state. This side of Ri In has never come to his mind.

Junsu grabbed hold on her shiver hands tightly. To his surprise, her hands were as cold as winter ice, “Ri In, our performance is in the ending. Calm down or you’ll faint by the time your turn to performs arrive.”

“Wow, seems very interesting here,” Lee Soo Man came into their dressing room. Immediately, Junsu released her hand, Ri In crossed her arms over her chest. Given to his witty and experience, he could sense something wrong with his two beloved kids. He loves Junsu very much because he watched him improve day by day over that six years while Ri In, needless to say his best friend daughter as if his daughter.

“Ri In, just performed naturally,” Lee Soo Man placed his hand around Ri In, “Make good use of your vocal. Do not feel scared or you’ll screw up, I have confident you could do well.”

-30 minutes later-

“Junsu, Ri In” the PD came into the backstage to informed them, “Get ready, you’ll be performing in ten minutes time. Aza Ri In…” due to Ri In treated each and everyone with her true heart and was very kind to them during the time she was an assistant, everyone loves her and give their support to her since she’s debuting.

Junsu reached out his hand, “We’ll do well…our very first time on stage together. Make it memorable.”

“Of course it would be memorable,” Ri in lowered her head as her hands have squeeze on the microphone.

Seeing her has no intention of giving him her hand, he held on it, “Didn’t it go on perfectly through the digital release? You’ll sure do well here as well.”

“With you by my side,” Ri In slightly leaned her forehead against his shoulder, “I’m not afraid of anything.”

“Be careful with the stairs,” Junsu said, his voice was just above a whisper that filled with concern.

Gradually, the music begins. The spotlight shines above Junsu’s head as his voice was heard. Ri In on the other side, hands still shivering. The four of DBSK guys could see that even she stood under the darkness. They were filled with worries upon seeing her still shivering so hard. As the first chorus came in, Junsu and Ri In slightly turned to meet. Initially, her voice was hardly get to be heard with the live band, especially with the fans cheering and shouting Junsu’s name. Due to this, Junsu softened his voice in order to avoid cover up Ri In’s voice completely. Nevertheless, when is her solo part, she sings it perfectly as her strong vocal echoes in their ears. Her heart is no longer beating so fast when moving in to the second chorus. Fans of DBSK started shouting her name to give their support. Hearing that, a small smile escaped in both their lips as they turned to gazed each other eyes while ending the song. It was the very first performance, it ended unexpectedly smooth.
