With that, Ri In did not go back to the party instead walked out from the office building alone with a pensive mind. She clearly understands that Junsu had hurt by her but she couldn’t help but to end their relationship in order to save their career. Meanwhile, Junsu asked Taeyeon to be back to the party as he needs to be alone. He paced to the dance room and filled himself in questions to what had just happened. As Taeyeon walked back to the party, she purposely revealed to everyone what just happened.

Their mouth fell opened in shock. “Could you repeat again? Are you sure you did not overheard it wrongly?” Yunho asked his voice was stern that warned Taeyeon not to simply say anything without any prove.

Everyone seems to be very surprised except a person who is still sipping his wine. It was Hankyung. He seems to know what’s going on, just as he expected.

“Where is Junsu then?” Jaejoong concerned.

“Junsu oppa,” Yoona attention averted to the doorway as she sees Junsu coming in.

“Let’s not sleep for the rest of the night,” Junsu grabbed hold on the glass of wine Jaejoong holding and finished it within seconds. He wrapped his arm around Jaejoon, “We won we won all the daesang…haha.”

The hall filled with silence as they were not sure what’s in his mind. His bitter laugh had worried them too much that they did not know what ought to be said. One after another glass of wine he gulped. Gulping it so fast that every attempt Yunho made was futile to stop him.

“Hyung, do you know how happy I am?” Junsu held on Yunho’s arms. He was drunk. His face was all red. “I thought I have everything, but I was wrong.” a sorrowful laugh escaped his lip. Leaning his head against Yunho’s chest, the tears his holding back had finally fallen off his eyes. Ri In, it’s all Yunho could hears him whimpering.

One week had swiftly passed by them. With the scandal negative news continue going on, all of Ri In’s work had been put a pause in this mean time as for Junsu, he resume his work with other DBSK members. However, he can hardly give his full concentration. During this time, Ri In used all her might to avoid bumping into Junsu. Everyday she would hide in Yoo Young Jin’s office.

“So that’s the way,” Junsu gathered all the lyrics and score papers before standing up from his seat. “I’ll be more focus for the next recording session.”

“Bear in mind that you’re not the only person in DBSK. One mistake from you could drag the whole group into trouble.”

“I will,” Junsu made his way to the exit restlessly.

“You can’t just hide here forever,” Young Jin looked down at Ri In who hiding under his desk as Junsu just came into his office for an almost one hour discussion. He helped her up.

“Uhh, my leg…” Ri In sighed as she massaged her legs. “Can’t you just tell him that you’re not free and postpone the discussion?”

“And now you’re blaming me,” Young Jin crossed his arms over his chest. Patted on her shoulder, he said, “CEO Kim wanted to see you during lunch time.” Ri In just nodded her head and slowly paced towards the exit. Although Ri In acted as if nothing had happened nor is she bothered by her and Junsu’s relationship. But he knows she’s hiding the saddest face on earth beneath the mask she’s wearing in order to not worry anyone who loves her.

“Right after the MBC Drama Festival, all the activities that had scheduled for you will put to a stop in this mean time,” CEO Kim explained. “One day before that performance, you’ll need to give an explanation to the audiences in Kiss the Radio and the news of debuting new group will be done with you in the same time.”

Ri In just obediently listens to CEO Kim as she had not say a word from the minute stepped into his office.

“Manager Kang will brief you what ought to be said during the interview by Leeteuk.”

“I understood,” Ri In stood up from her seat and bowed before heading to the exit. As she stepped out from his room, she leaned her head on the door restlessly. Gradually slid, squatted down on the floor. Right at this time, Junsu happened to pass by.

He walked up to her and pulled her up by his hand grasping on her arm, “We need to talk.” Junsu’s face expression’s was solemn. He dragged her up to the roof top.

Ri In did not say a word but only give him a cold heartless face of expression. Turning her around to face him directly, Ri In could see how frustrated and tired he was caused by this relationship. His held on her arm tightening with every second passing by, shivering in the same time.

“Tell me, you’re just playing a game with me, aren’t you?” Junsu pulled her into his embracement. “You love me, I know. I can feel it.”

Pulling away from him, Ri In pushed him off her, harshly. “Kim Junsu, how many times do you want me to say? I don’t love you. You’re just a tool for me to get more attention. So stop bothering me.”

“Stop lying,” Junsu never stop putting in his effort in order to save this relationship. He wants to know the actual reason of her changing into another person all in sudden. “We started before you know you’re becoming a singer. I’m certain you’re not someone who will use my love to reach your goal.”

Staring into his eyes meanly, “If I don’t go near you,” he poked on his chest. “How am I suppose to make LSM noticed me, idiot.”

“You have another reason behind this, aren’t you?” Junsu firmly stated. Upon hearing that firm tone of his, Ri In’s heart beats very fast. She feels that whenever hearing his firm tone as she knows if only he’s certain with something or he won’t be so firm.

“You have feeling for Hankyung, am I wrong?” Junsu just wish Ri In would say no, let him realizes that his biggest fear is not coming true.

Looking away from him, her fist tightened as she knows what she is about to say will not only hurt her but hurt her love one, deeply. What he just asked gave an inspiration to Ri In. “Do you still need to ask? I can’t imagine you have that courage to ask this question. Hankyung oppa, he’s good looking, he treats everyone politely and he’s rich.”

Junsu shook his head as he can’t believe what he’d just heard from Ri In.

“Unlike you, since day one you had made me suffered so much in the job of an assistant. You can’t blame me that I choose him over you.” Ri In turned to Junsu with her arms crossed. “Just what could you give me? Trouble? Saying how deep is your love to me everyday is useless. We can’t survive with love. What I needed is fame and wealth, could you give me?”

“Ri In,” he held on her arms. “What happened? Did anyone force you? CEO Kim, did he make you do this?” Junsu’s arms were quivering so badly. Ri In knows if she doesn’t end this now, she would soften by him. There was never a time she could harden her heart to him.

“Go away,” Ri In pushed off his hands from hers, “Force what?” she yelled. “You know I was never an obedient kid.”

“I know you love me,” Junsu tried his best to not let this relationship ends here. “Still remember the time we have in Japan? The musical box I gave you, our love theme song?”

Ri In shook her head in disgust, “Kim Junsu, I didn’t know you’re someone who is so easy been deceives.” Bringing her hands to her hips, she laughed teasingly. “By making some touching stories could make you fall for me. You’re so naïve to believe everything I said.” She was surprised as she looked up to see his eyes filled with tears. “I’m off…” she stuttered.

Junsu held on her wrist firmly as she made his way to the exit, “I would erase whatever you just said if you are to tell me the reason behind all these things you’re doing.”

She turned to him face to face, heartlessly “Reason. In order to get rid of you someone who couldn’t give me a better and wealthier tomorrow.” putting an end to that sentence of hers, she walked away as Junsu let o off her hand in despair.

Taking one last glance to Junsu’s back, Ri In turned around and made her way out the roof top. Hiding in one of the rooms, she sobbed sadly.

“Zhang Li Yin, what have you just said? Why must you push yourself to a brink of no turning back? You love her isn’t it?” Ri In wrapped herself up with both her arms and drenched her face with tears. “Kim Junsu, why must you force me said all those to you?”

She was scolding herself, blaming herself for not having the courage to fight till the end with Junsu. Little did she know the barrier to reach her, to this room, stood a person who too has feeling for her, concern about her, care about her feeling? Hankyung couldn’t help but just reached his hand to the door.

Hankyung wished he could tell her how deep his love for her is but he knows, deep inside, her heart was only occupied by Junsu and there’s no place left for him. “Li Yin jia you, I’ll be by your side.”

“If that girl is here for that interview, I’m off.” Eunhyuk walked out from the room to see Ri In leaning against the wall, overheard his conversation with Manager Kang. He stopped for a moment before giving her a hard glare as she looked up.

Sighing heavily, Manager Kang came out “You’re really troublesome. Just why can’t you fly back to China and stop being our burden here.”

“What did you just said?”

Ri In looked up, surprised to see Hankyung grasping on that petite size lady’s arm fiercely. She hits on his hand, “Stop it!”

“I’ll bring you home now,” Hankyung grabbed hold on Ri In’s wrist dragging her away, forcefully. Right in this time, Manager Kang’s cell phone rings. “Ri In, CEO Kim wish to speak to you.” she handed the cell phone to Ri In then crossed her arms over her chest. She rolled her eyes annoyingly to shows Hankyung her dissatisfactions.

“Yeah I understand. Leeteuk oppa knows that Siwon oppa is on his way, nothing to fret about.” Ri In hung up the phone. She turned to Hankyung with a smile on face; she pats on his hand trying hard to convince him everything going on smoothly. “Everything will be fine, don’t worry about me.”

“But why are you facing all this alone? We’re all involve I can’t just let you take all the blame,” Hankyung held on her shoulder trying to change her mind. “Junsu could let this happen but…”

He was cut off by two worried voices behind him coming nearer, “Ri In!” it was her manager and DBSK’s Manager Park. They both pulled her into the waiting room, “You follow us!”

“Jang Ri In, what are you thinking about?” Manager Min did not give any chance for Ri In to explain as she was in fury. She just came back from Jeju Island. “You shouldn’t be the one taking all the blame.”

Manager Park agreed with her, “All three of you have the responsibility to solve it and not you solely doing it. Did CEO Kim dragoon you to do this?”

Ri In calmly shook her head, “I don’t wish to be any of you guy’s burden. Things can end easily here so don’t make it complicated. I and Junsu had broken up.”

“You clearly know Mr. LSM will help you. He can solve this so stop taking all the blame yourself. If you are to step up and tell that you’re using Junsu for popularity, your career ends here.” Manager Min held on her shoulders.

Taking a deep breath, Ri In said, “I know. No one understands him more than I do. I’ve been relying on all of you too much. Can you let me make a decision by myself for once? I can’t be relying on Uncle SM anymore.” her held on Manager Min tightened as she continues begging, “At the very least not this time.”

“Ri In, we saw that script,” Manager Park voice softened. “Yes, you save their career. But what about yours, you’ll jeopardize your future by saying that.”

“If I don’t, DBSK and SJ will be ruined by me. SNSD won’t be debut in time.” Ri In whimpered. “Bear in mind, another five guys group will be form in early 2008. I can’t delay any of them. If in a boat of 20 person, with me alone jumping off could prevent it from drowning, I don’t see a good reason to why I shouldn’t be the one sacrificing.”

Hankyung, Siwon, Leeteuk, Yoona, Tiffany and Yuri were all stood there in confusion. They don’t understand the exact relationship between Ri In and their boss, LSM.

“Shouldn’t you all explain to us,” Leeteuk begin, “The relationship between Ri In and Mr. LSM?”

“Ri In is Mr. LSM best friend’s daughter,” Manager Park said.

“Ri In, don’t you think you should think twice on what you’re about to say later? When it aired, there’s no turning back.” Siwon reminded her.

“Maybe saying that you have a crush on Junsu would be a better choice,” Hankyung suggested.

Ri In lowered her head, “I’ll handle this. Please don’t put my problem in concern anymore. You all will just make me feel bad for that.”
