“Hey guys, Ri In’s interview it’s about time to air,” Changmin switched on the radio.

“What’s that so interesting to listen about?” Eunhyuk opened the door to see the five guys still not heading home yet.

“Shouldn’t you be interviewing Ri In?” Yunho asked in curious.

Turning over to Junsu, Eunhyuk admitted, “If that lady is there I don’t think I’ll be able to withstand not punching her.”

“Junsu oppa,” Taeyeon walked up to him. “We can go now.”

He stood up from his seat and headed towards the doorway. He stopped all of the sudden which made Taeyeon hit her face on his back as he heard Ri In’s voice.

“Hi everyone I’m Jang Ri In,” she sounded just as cheerful as she was when they first met.

Taeyeon patted on his back, “We should get going, the booking is 8 pm, we shouldn’t be late.” they stepped out from the artist’s resting room.

“Why is Junsu going out with Taeyeon?” Jaejoong has tinge anger in him seeing Junsu really giving up their relationship. He has no idea what Ri In had said to Junsu this afternoon.

-Super Junior Kiss the Radio, 2007 Korea-

“It’s good to have Eunhyuk absent here since he can’t put words in good sentence.” Leeteuk sneered with tinge anger in his statement. He was rather bothered to know Eunhyuk running off like that, making Ri In feel worse.

“Today I’ll be replacing Eunhyuk huyn,” Siwon explained. “Woah, see today we have four beautiful girls here. Three of them were SM new group SNSD members.”

“Hi I’m Yoona, I’m Yuri and I’m Tiffany,” they greeted courteously.

“Hi everyone I’m Jang Ri In,”

“Ri In shi, how are you feeling having winning so many new artist awards?”

“Absolutely great,” Ri In forced out a happy smile that barely manage to deceive others she’s really feeling happy. “I never expect myself to win all the new artists awards. It had given me so much confidence, something like certifying my ability in singing.”

“But, this afternoon SM had revealed that you’ll not releasing your first ever album this year, why is that?” Siwon who replace Eunhyuk asked.

Taking a deep breath, Ri In continued, “Uhm…actually I decided to pursue my study. It was always my dream to become a business woman in the past. So I came to a decision of furthering my studies before I can really concentrate in my career.”

“Rumors have been flying around rapid lately. One of them is saying that MBC Drama Festival would be your last performance.” Leeteuk said.

“Err...it’s actually a performance that marks an end to my single album promotion. So my many small group of fan remember to come watch me.” Ri In laughed bitterly.

“You mentioned that those awards had given you confidence, in a sense of?” Siwon slowly pulling Ri In into the questions that she has come to fears about which also the main motive for this interview.

The atmosphere in the recording room turned tense instantly. Yoona reached her hand towards Ri In’s and giving a squeeze on it. “As you all know, there were rumors regarding me and DBSK’s Xiah Junsu dating…lately, there were so many negative reports about me and saying these did not bother me, of course I’m lying.”

“That’s why you said the awards gave you confidence?” Leeteuk asked.

“Yeah, with all those comments I read through the internet, it pained my heart so much. That’s why I would like to make it clear tonight.” Ri In explained, her voice tensed and she was squeezing with both her hands. “To be frank, the relationship between me and Junsu oppa is only a simple senior and junior relationship.”

“But the pictures we seen, it’s hard to convince people that you’re only a junior to him. About him wearing a ring for you…”

“That…actually I’m someone who can be really childish at times. Junsu and I were too close. He treated me like a sister,” Ri In eyes were reddening as she trying so hard to hold back the tears. “I remember that time, I bought that ring and forced him wears it for me. A very immature action to ask him wears that for me.” closing her eyes and frowning in pain, they all could see that. She took a deep breath as she looked up the ceiling.

“Maybe I’m still too young to know what true love means. Having such a great guy by my side through out this time, I…tend to…” she stuttered. Her lip was quivering as her tears can no longer being control. It streamed down to drench her face. “I tend to have a good feeling for him, a crush on my senior. Perhaps…this can also…be called as…one sided liking…” once Ri In finished saying, she buried her face in her palms as she lowered her head, whimpering.

“Now let’s listen to Jang Ri In and Xiah Junsu’s ‘Timeless’” Leeteuk immediately signaled the crew to play the music in order to avoid revealing Ri In’s sobbing sound. They all walked over to Ri In. Yoona running her hand up and down on Ri In’s back offering all sort of comfort that she could to make her feel better.

“You know Junsu wouldn’t leave you,” Siwon placed his hand on her shoulder. “Why choose this way?”

“Leeteuk, next segment straight away tell the listener that Ri In will still participate in SM Town album then begin with SNSD debut news.” Manager Min’s voice was heard in the recording room, she sounded fierce.

Coming out from the recording room, Ri In wiped off her tears and forced out a smile again. “Everything has finally come to an end; nothing else is there to fret about.”

Wrapping her arm around Ri In’s shoulder, Manager Min give a squeeze on it, “I’m uncertain with is right or wrong to your decision, but I’ll just respect you.”

“I can’t imagine Ri In noona is this type of person. She’s lying to each and everyone in Korea.” Taeyeon said as she switched off the radio. Turning to her left only to see Junsu’s sad and sorrow face. “Junsu oppa, are you alright?”

Taeyeon thought Junsu would at least say something so she remains quiet. However she realizes they met silent. Feeling tired of having his head lowered staring still on the car carpet; he brought up his head and leaned against the back of the seat whilst gazing up to the stars shimmering, from his convertible car.

There were so many stars in the sky this night. To him, it seems all his thoughts were written in the stars. Junsu wish everything he is facing was only a nightmare and once these stars disappear, Ri In could be back in his arms, again.

After a long moment of silent, Junsu finally made his effort to break the silent that filled Taeyeon in worries. “The saddest thing is, I don’t know what she is thinking about,” he admitted honestly. “I wish I could know her better then all this wouldn’t happen.”

Reaching her hand over his shoulder giving a squeeze in effort of offering any comfort she could, Taeyeon said “She don’t deserve your love. She craves for popularity and used you as a tool for fame. Jang Ri In does not deserve having you feeling sad and overwhelmed by sorrow everyday.”

Turning his eyes restlessly over to Taeyeon and she could sees the tears shimmer under the starlight. His sorrowful voice pained her heart. “I wish I could use the worst words on earth to torture her but my heart pains whenever I think of a way. We’ve been through a lot. This relationship might not mean anything to her but it meant a lot to me.”

Hearing those words escaped his lip, the lip that she wish one day could kiss on hers lovingly. Taeyeon couldn’t help but let the tears enter her eyes. For all these years, she had not seen Junsu form not even a drop of tear in his eyes. But tonight, because of Jang Ri In the person she hated so much, Junsu had shed a tear for this relationship. A relationship that he can’t bear letting go.

“You need to forget about the memories you both have and begin a new life. A life without Jang Ri In.” Taeyeon gradually let her tears escaped her eyes as she pulled Junsu into her embracement.

Couldn’t help but letting each and every tears in his eyes flowed down. “Can I really do that?” he questioned whiles resting his chin on Taeyeon’s shoulder comfortably. “I can’t. After all she’d done, I can’t do anything in order to make her feel bad. The reason was because I still love her. I don’t think I’ll be able to stop loving her. I needed her to know this but I don’t have the courage anymore.”

Loosening her arms around Junsu, Taeyeon can’t believe what she just heard. She can’t bear listening anymore. Anything about how deep is his love for Ri In.

“Junsu oppa, perhaps you need someone at this moment, in order to forget about her.” Taeyeon close in their distant and kiss on Junsu’s lip. “You need to forget about her.”
Junsu initially was rather taken aback by Taeyeon’s sudden move. But deep in his heart, he knows he needed someone to fill the hole in his heart. He deepened the kiss wildly. Feeling him returning the kiss, Taeyeon gradually reached her hand to his shirt. Right at this time, Junsu’s phone rings. Canon ringtone, the music that became his and Ri In’s love theme song. Instantly, Junsu realized he was doing the wrong thing by making Taeyeon a tool to forget about Ri In for this mean time.

He shoved Taeyeon off him, “I’m sorry…I was too bothered iby this relationship that…” he squeezed his face with his palm, not forgiving what he attempted to do awhile ago. “I shall send you back to your dorm, it’s getting late.”

Taeyeon held on his head and face blushing heavily as she realized the brave move she had made. “Oppa, you said you needed Ri In to know how deep your love to her, aren’t you?” Junsu move his arm off Taeyeon’s held and intending to start the car.

It feels like a knife stabbed on her heart to see that action made by Junsu. Taeyeon closed her eyes and took a deep breath. “And I needed you to know something as well. Aside from having a girl hurting you so much, I want you to bear in mind that you are also having a girl love you very much. Just right beside you.” a moment of silent occurred and it was broken down when Junsu continued ignoring Taeyeon by starting the car.

Taeyeon turned towards Junsu and leaned in kissing on his lip again, “I love you. Ever since the first minute meeting you, I know I had fallen for you deeply.” Having both her hands holding on his face, “I don’t mind if you would make me as Ri In’s replacement. I just wish there’s a day you would accept me.” she said sadly.

“I’m getting crazy if I’m to continue reading these messages.” Changmin held on his head after reading the 564th message. “This entire people were the one that criticized badly on Ri In’s vocal and now they are saying they’ll be missing her since she’s not releasing album in year 2007.”

Yoochun bend over to glance on the LCD screen, “It’s sad to see Ri In not releasing her first album as scheduled. That’s mean we won’t be able to hear her and Junsu singing…we’ll miss her sweet innocent smile.” he recited the message.

“The reason why they are commenting so courteously and mannerly was because Ri In chooses to let off Junsu’s hand.” Manager Park crossed his arms over his chest. His face expression was stern, so stern that it scared the guys.

“That sounded, having another meaning behind it,” Yoochun looked straight at Manager Park, expecting for an answer from him.

Jaejoong’s eyes darted up from his schedule to Yoochun, “Did we miss something? I just don’t get what you guys are up to.”

And in this time, Hankyung and Siwon came out from the storeroom after packing up all Ri In’s stuff. “We’re done, shall make our move,” Hankyung said while zipping the bag.

“I’m back,” Junsu shut the door behind him and intended to head back to the room but was stopped by Manager Park, “Where have you been?”

“…a walk…with Taeyeon,” Junsu stuttered guiltily without having any dare to look at Manager Park.

“I don’t wish seeing you having any sort of unclear relationship with SM girls anymore,” he raised his voice. His tone sounded real angry. In fact inside his body was raging with anger.

Junsu whirled and walked up real close to Manager Park, “I was very clear with the relationship of me and Ri In. You have no idea the exact motive of hers in getting into this relationship.” the words just slipped off her lip without having a second a chance thinking over it.

What he said had drifted the guys attention to him. “I’m tired. I need some rest,” he lowered his head escaping any questions they are about to ask. As he sees two pairs of legs, he looked up to see the person that became his rival. He averted his stare with a roll of eyes and headed into his room after a slight push of shoulder on Hankyung’s in purpose.

-SM Entertainment Monthly Meeting, January 2007 Korea-

“Soo Man, you’re back?” CEO Kim placed his arm around LSM’s shoulder, “The MBC Drama Festival ended successfully.”

LSM whirled and ready to confront with CEO Kim, “A sudden decision of not releasing the album, informing me on the very first hand is something you need to do, shouldn’t you?”

Turning to LSM with a harmony smile in order to cover the dissatisfy face of expression beneath this smile, “Since furthering studies is her final decision, don’t you think we shall not hinder her. It’s her future; we have no right in making a decision for her.”

“Didn’t you use this way in order to shove off this obstruction?” LSM frowned dissatisfiedly. “Afraid of her will be hindering both groups pathway; you made her came up with such decision, didn’t you?”

CEO Kim widened his eyes, “I’ve not said Ri In is an obstruction to the guys. Or maybe you are the one have that thought. A thought that Jang Ri In is a burden that will hinder the boys from shimmering on the stage.”

The sound of file dropped on floor had averted LSM’s attention instantly to see Ri In stood by the doorway. She picked up the file. They could see her hands quivering.

“Manager Min happened to asked me inform you two that the meeting is about to start.” Ri In bowed before turning around to make her move leaving the two. She just couldn’t help but letting the sorrowful tears begin to form in her eyes, again.

Pulling the door to the meeting room, it attracted everyone’s attention as they thought it would be LSM and CEO Kim. It surprised Ri In to see so many pairs of eyes on her. “They are on their way,” she stuttered as she pointed her hand behind.

Manager Min nodded her head to acknowledge her. “Your seat is beside Hankyung,” she said as Ri In was about heading to her usual place, beside Junsu.

Recalling that she can no longer stay close by Junsu’s side, a small slight formed in her lip. Is not that she happy that Junsu is no longer a part of her life but is because she feels herself being so naïve to have a thought of sitting beside him.

“Good morning, it’s good to see everyone gained good result in the awards ceremony, well done.” LSM smiled. “Through out the year, I’ll be working with Boa for her debut in America and with Ri In came to a decision of not releasing album for her studies; Manager Min will be assisting me on and off.”

Upon hearing that Ri In lowered her head sadly. She was sad to know that the two people who love her so much will be leaving her all alone in Korea. Hankyung reached for her hand to comfort her without turning over to her. Coincidently, Junsu happen to saw that.

“As for DBSK, you all will begin your 2nd Asia Tour in February then will spend most of the time in Japan. By the way, one of the songs ‘Triangle’ will need Ri In involvement so you’ll be moving around with the boys.”

Ri In eyes darted up to LSM in surprise then turned to CEO Kim, “But what about my studies if I’m to tour with them.”

“Maybe we could use Taeyeon instead,” CEO Kim interrupted.

“Taeyeon…that part will be a 100% live performance and I think she can’t handle this yet. It will only end about two days for each city performance, won’t take you too much time.”

“Maybe our dongsaeng aside from studies” Junsu shoot a hard glare towards her, “there’s something or someone else holding her back from touring Asia with us.” He crossed his arms over his chest.

“Don’t make things complicating. And CEO Kim was telling me that he would prefer SNSD debut in early this year. I disagree. The girls still need a lot of practice in order to have better live performance.” LSM straightforwardly said to the girls.

“I think it would be great to have Taeyeon debut as a solo singer.” CEO Kim once again reminded LSM since he had not respond to it early this day.

“Besides, having an idea of debuting Taeyeon as solo, I banned that too. If only she could have a better ability of singing live or solo project for her will never happen.” he eyed hardly to CEO Kim.

Everyone in the meeting room could feel the tense between the two bosses. Ri In understands that LSM was a little bit affected by her decision on studying. And she was certain that he knows it was a lie to that so call decision.

“This summer, SM will be holding summer concert and Jang Ri In, don’t you dare telling me you can’t take a few days break from your studies. Come to my office after this. Dismiss.” LSM angrily stormed out from the meeting room.

“Mr. Lee is really furious in Ri In’s decision,” Jaejoong said in certain.

“Let’s go,” Yunho said as he stood up from his seat.

After all the bombards from LSM and also what happened between her and Junsu, she has no more energy left in her body. She made her way towards the exit without realizing Junsu in her way, they bumped into each other.

“Are you alright?” Junsu held on her arm.

Taeyeon instantly withdraw her hand as she felt his hold. The usual she would definitely give him a bow smilingly. But that moment, she just feels so embarrassed after what she did last night. Just when Junsu about to continue his way out, another person knocked right on his chest, Ri In who is busy text messaging did not notice someone in her approaching way.

“Ouch…” she held on her forehead, looking pain.

The guys stood behind could see Junsu was about to reach for her hand but suddenly he withdraw. “Knowing you for so long, I never know you’re so good in making up stories,” he crossed his arms over his chest looking down at her with harshness.

Ri In intends to walk away in effort to avoid hearing his words. But he just doesn’t let her off so easily as he grabbed hold on his wrist tightly not bothered by she’s feeling pain.

“Having dating with me for two years and you could say I see you as my dongsaeng. Well done…” he pulled him back as she tried her best in loosening his grasp on her wrist.

Her frown clearly shows how pain she is. “I bet you can make a good story writer…”

“Kim Junsu, you’re making her pain,” Hankyung pushed on his shoulder. “Are you okay?” he asked in Chinese whilst rubbing on Ri In’s wrist.

Ri In withdrew her hand and bowed to her seniors, “I shall make my move to Mr. Lee’s office.” She walked away leaving the two Junsu and Hankyung sharing hard glare to each other.

Changmin leaned against the wall as he sighed beside Yoochun, “Oh god didn’t they just gotten themselves into a triangle love?”
