“Lee Soo Man, what’s that all about?!” the fury CEO Kim followed LSM into his office. LSM’s secretary dares not to say a word seeing the two highest post people in a serious argument. “By saying that to Taeyeon right in front of all SM artists, that’s hurt her don’t you know?”

LSM angrily threw the file on his desk as he whirled to have a face to face tense conversation with CEO Kim. “Isn’t that obvious that I’m reprimanding you not to do anything against me!” he tapped his finger on the desk, “Hurt Kim Taeyeon, so what about Ri In. Didn’t you done the same thing to her?”

“Jang Ri In was the person who made the decision of sacrificing her entertainment career in order to pursue a better future.” CEO Kim yelled. “She knows her own ability will not be able to stand any longer in this industry that’s why she chose another path over entertainment. Who to blame? Don’t you dare put all the blame on me!”

Right in this time, Ri In was heading towards LSM’s office. As she was about to pull the door, it opened and the fury CEO Kim came out. The moment he sees Ri In, he get angrier. He flashed her, a killing glare before leaving LSM’s office area.

Ri In knocked on his door before receiving his permission to enter his office. As she stepped in, not even have the time sit herself down, LSM turned to her with a fierce face.

“Be honest, is he the one force you to leave Junsu and not release album this year?” LSM’s tone of voice has not change. “Every thing can be solved if you frankly tell me what exactly is happening.”

“Uncle Soo Man,” she reached for his hand daughterly. “No one force me and I just thought in this young age I should study. Besides, if I fail becoming a well known singer or this is not a promising career, I have something else to back me up.”

Placing his hand on her shoulder caringly, “That’s doesn’t mean you need to break up with Junsu.”

Looking away from LSM as she knows the person stood in front her understand her too well that he could see her lies through the eyes. “You’re right. I really can’t stand being critic everyday. They are too cruel, anything could be said.” Holding back her tears, she felt guilty to lie to the person who loves her so much. “I bet you seen my website, it bashed by their fans badly. Stopping this is all I wanted, Junsu agreed to that too.”

“Is that so?” LSM doubted. “Since when did your ambition have become business woman from hairstylist?”

Ri In closed her eyes in order force herself come out with a cheerful face of expression. She turned around to face LSM, “People will change. I’ve grown up and think everything realistically; you don’t need to worry about me.”

He held on her head slightly shook it, “During the time when I and Manager Min not in town, seek for Manager Park’s help if anything happen.”

“I will…so no need to put my matter in concern.” Ri In reassured with a warm smile. “I promise, I’ll not get into any relationship with any of the guys in SM.”

“Starting your life afresh?”

Ri In tilted her head over her shoulder to see someone behind her as she heard this familiar voice, a voice which had warmed her all this while. She whirled to meet Hankyung the one and only person who understood the reason why she chose this pathway.

Pulling the two pony tails to the front from the back, he looked into her eyes “Just like when I first saw you, with this two pony tails, the cheerful you.”

A smile escaped her lip and she nodded her head, “Time may not go back to how it was at the very first place. But I know I can go back to the point where it first started.” Stretching forth her hand in effort for relaxation, “Someone who will only concentrate in her work and never is bothered by what other says.”

“Zhang Li Yin, I’ll be by your side in that process.” It touched Ri In so much to hear that promise from Hankyung.

Nodding her head with smile as she bit her lip, “Thanks, I appreciate that.”

“Ri In,” out of the blue, Yoochun interrupted. “Can we talk, personally.” He flashed Hankyung a stare. To avoid any tense atmosphere surfacing, Ri In nodded her head as she pulled Yoochun to an isolated place in the office building.

“What’s that you wanted to talk?” Ri In started the conversation. “If it’s about Junsu and I, there’s nothing to talk about.”

“Something about the silly decision you’d made.” Yoochun tucked his hands in the sweater pockets.

“Putting my studies in first place you called that silly?” Ri In forced out a smile in order to cover her nervous face as she continued pretending as if she doesn’t understand what he meant.

Yoochun took one step closer to her whilst placing his hand on her head, “My little sister, you’re smart enough to understand the meaning of my question. So stop pretends you don’t.”

The smile gradually faded as the sad face beneath that smile appeared instantly. Her head slowly lowered as she’s feeling really tired in deceiving everyone that loves her.

“That day when you came into that room, I was there. You cried so hard that you didn’t realize my presence.” He looked at her intently and waiting for an answer to his confusion.

After almost thirty minutes of explanation, Yoochun couldn’t help but pulled Ri In into a warm embracement. Deep inside, he feels like slapping her in order to wakes her up. He can’t believe that she’s so silly to be threatened by CEO Kim.

“You know SM is not belonged to him,” Yoochun rested his chin on Ri In’s head, feeling her pain she’s having. “Mr. LSM is there, you should have told her about this than you wouldn’t be feeling this pain solely.”

Pulling away from Yoochun, the tears in her eyes gradually streamed down. “I don’t wish to put so many people in worries. This relationship had hurt much enough people, it should stop here.”

“And you chose to let go Junsu by saying all those,” Yoochun recalled the dumb way she used to pushed Junsu away. “Those words really hurt him. No wonder he’s like a drunken man those days. There’s no turning back for you, he might misunderstood you forever.”

She wiped off her tears and smiled to brush off the sadness on her face, “True love, it doesn’t means you need to have it but you do need to sacrifice in order to have your love one move on happily.”

Yoochun can’t help by saying anything as he clearly knows she had made her decision. He sighed restlessly to see them gone into this state.

-February 2007 Korea-

“Young Jin opaa,” Ri in hopped into the recording studio the place where SM composers work. “I’ve finally finished my very own produce song.”

“Really,” he turned his swivel chair to see Ri In’s cheerful face. “Have a seat. You even had written the lyrics, ‘Into the New World’.”

Ri In nodded her head cheeringly, “Into the new world, I wish that I could start my life afresh, stepping into a new world. By the way, I already am.”

“Want to record demo?” Young Jin raised an eyebrow. “You shall get into some preparation though. You’re not releasing it this year, but next year, so get into the recording room.” He ushered her to the recording room.

Just when she started the demo recording, Taeyeon pass by the recording studio. She was actually here to see Young Jin, as she sees Ri In recording a song, she made her way in.

“Young Jin oppa, can I listen as well?” she seated beside him. He was rather bothered by her presence but to concentrate with Ri In’s recording, he just agreed.

Hearing the nice vocal of hers echoed in her ears, Taeyeon did not realize that anger was raging inside her. Fists were tightened. Going into the last part of that song, she threw the headphone and went off to CEO Kim’s office.

“That was Taeyeon, isn’t it?” Ri In looked at the shut door.

“Great, good job Ri In. Not releasing it this year really such a waste.” Young Jin fluttered. “Have you met the guys lately?”

She shook her head uneasily upon hearing that question. “Why did you ask that?”

“They pushed their self so hard that five of them are all sick. I wonder have they recovered.” Young Jin sounded concern.

“You mean Young Jin have a new song for Ri In?” CEO Kim was still typing on the keyboard. “Nevertheless, she’ll be releasing her album next year it’s appropriate.”

“But don’t you think that song would be better for SNSD since we’ll be debuting this October yet we have not even a song.” Taeyeon crossed her arms over her chest, fussing.

“Then you shall talk to Young Jin, maybe he thinks that song not suitable for you girls.”

Walking pass the DBSK’s dancing room for the 24th times, Ri In’s eyes squinted so hard to peek on them through the small glass window of the door. Out of the blue, the door opened. She immediately leaned her head against the wall to avoid meeting whoever is coming out. It was Yunho. He ambled towards the washroom tiredly.

“Even he is in this state, I wonder what about others.” She bit her lip worriedly. When she was about to peek through the window, then again the door opened and this time all of them came out. Immediately she turned around pretend she’s making her way towards the opposite side.

Junsu was the last coming out, as he close the door, he sees a familiar figure. “Junsu, faster get going.” Jaejoong punched on his arm restlessly. “Yes…” he laughed bitterly. “Kim Junsu, don’t dream. She won’t be visiting you.”

Seeing them far apart from her, she quickly walked into the dance room. Searching for Junsu’s bag, she rummaged the huge bag for his medication.

“Found it,” she looked at it. “He consulted doctor one week ago and yet there’s so much left.” Ri In was upset to know he skipped the medication. “Perhaps he forgotten.” As she was about to write a note on that small little memo pad, she saw his cell phone. A better idea came into her mind, she set reminder in his phone.

-2nd Asia Tour “O” in Seoul, February 2007 Korea-

“Hachuu…” Changmin pulled the tissue roll, “It’s really unfair. Junsu hyung was the one spread all the sickness to us but he recovered.”

“That’s because I take medication in time, you can’t blame anyone.” Junsu poked on Changmin’s forehead.

“About that” Yunho, one of his hands placed below his chin as if thinking something serious. “Since when did you became such caring. You set a reminder not only to remind yourself take medication but for us as well.”

Junsu widened his eyes surprisingly, “Me…no I didn’t set any reminder. I thougt it was Jaejoong since he hated his phone ring so he set on mine instead.”

“Did you knock your head somewhere to have that thought? How on earth will I have that time?” Jaejoong said whilst text messaging.

“Maybe is Manager Park…” Yoochun said as he wears on his glasses.

“Don’t be funny, I won’t have that time either,” Manager Park walked out from their dressing tent.

“Hi everyone…we’re here. Right in time,” Donghae greeted.

“I know, it must be you,” Yunho pointed at the person behind Donghae. Ri In looked up in afraid, “What me? Eh…” she touched on Yunho’s forehead. “It’s good to see you recovered already. That’s why, take medication in time is important.”

Jaejoong clapped his hands, “Definitely. I’m sure you are that set a reminder in Junsu’s phone to remind us taking medication.”

The moment Ri In heard that, her face feel so hot. She doesn’t know what should be said at this moment. It gets worst when she realized Junsu was keeping an eye on her at the corner.

“Ahh…” it scared them. “I need to go pee…” she ran away. Just when she stepped out from the tent, she bumped into Taeyeon. She flashed her, a hard glare, “You almost made me drop all the drinks.”

Walking into the tent, Taeyeon smiled, “Sunbae, I brought you all herbal tea.”

“Then it must be her,” Changmin sneezed.

Junsu held on her elbow after taking over the bags of tea, “Did you set a reminder in my phone?”

Taeyeon recalled the day when Ri In sneaked into their dance room, “Yeah, you’re really smart to guess it so easily.”

“Junsu faster get ready, it’s your turn!” Manager Park informed.

“I don’t believe is her,” Jaejoong shook his head. “She won’t be so kind hearted to put us in concern as well.”

Far aside, Ri In was peeking from one of the entrance to that tent. Not understanding what her heart really wants, she couldn’t help but feel a tinge sadness and jealousy in her.
