Yoona sat on the balcony floor outside her room, staring up into the dark sky. It's going to rain, she thought to herself. It's like, the weather is feeling what I'm feeling right now. Cold, dark and gloomy. She laughed humourlessly as she was brought into a dream-like state.

She felt worn, lifeless even. There were no more tears left in her, since she had cried the whole day, after receiving the news that changed her life forever and turned her world upside down.

"At around 10am this morning, a wrecked car was found under a cliff near the mountains. Three victims were trapped inside. The identities of these three are Mr Im Han Yong, Mrs Im Mi Yoong and Ms Im Seo Hyun." The news had said. (A/N: Forgive my sorry excuse of an effort to give her family some random names. xD)

Her family had left at around 8am to visit her grandmother, who lives high up in the mountains. They were still alive and healthy then. But after two hours, they're gone? How could her mother, the mother who had held her hair last night as she cried into the toilet, suffering from a flu, be gone? What about Seohyun - her twin, her other half? Who was going to be there for her every step of the way? She knew there were many out there; her boyfriend, her best friends, who would always be there for  her. But this was different. So much more different. Seohyun was her blood related sister. You know the saying about how blood knows best, how blood will always be there no matter what, or something like that. Yeah.

Drip, drip, drip. A few raindrops landed on her face, as she closed her eyes. Her family was dead, she had to get away. Get away from all the haunted memories of them.

Then, she heard the soft knocks on her bedroom door but she chose to ignore it. Few minutes later, someone stepped into her room. "Yoona?"

By then, the rain was coming down much harder. "Yoong, it's raining, please come inside." No response.

"Yoona, you're going to get worse if you continue staying outside," Yuri tried again. Once again, there was no response from the girl.

Yuri sighed and disappeared into the house. It was not long before she came back with an umbrella. She held the umbrella above Yoona's head, shielding her from the rain. "You wanna talk about it?"

There was complete silence after that. Yuri joined her on the cold, wet floor and stared up into the dark sky.

"Have you ever felt like there's nothing left in the world for you?" Yoona whispered after a few minutes.

"You shouldn't feel that way. You have us," Yuri patted her shoulder.

"I know I have you guys, but... It feels so different now with my parents and Seohyun...gone." Her voice cracked in the end. She choked, gasping for air and her stomach was suddenly attacked by a sharp pain. The tears that she thought ran out, finally came and they poured out like never before.

"Shh, honey. I know I know. It'll get better in time, I promise," Yuri wrapped her arms around her, as Yoona sobbed into her best friend's shoulder.

"Do you want me to call Donghae oppa?" Yuri whispered, Yoona's hair.

Yoona's body stiffened as she heard his name. She pulled away slowly and wiped the tears away, as she shook her head. "I-I need to break up with him...and move away from here."

Pretty girl said whuuuuuaaaat? Hahaha. So yeah, this is my new story. A Yoona- Donghae fanfic, if you don't know. ;D totally ship them to the end of the world. <3 (not sure if that made any sense, but who cares yooooo)
