After that day when Ju Min bumped into her supposed 'friends' at the alley, she stepped up her game of protecting them. Going to school as per normal, she decided to stay quiet. Walking along the hallways, Ju Min saw Exo-M from where she was standing and immediately turned around before Tao could call her.

Looking at her retreating figure, Lay noticed something was amiss. * Ju Min was never like this. Something's wrong. * Ju Min bit her lip as she kept walking to the back garden of the school. Sitting on a bench, she looked around the empty vicinity and sighed. * Am I actually going to avoid them? *

" A penny for your thoughts, mei? " Ju Min looked up and her eyes widened. " Ge... " The person chuckled and sat down next to her. " What are you doing here? " He asked and Ju Min gave him a look.

" Since when was I supposed to tell you I'm coming here, Yixing ge? " Ju Min asked and Lay chuckled. " Since we were diapers. "

Ju Min rolled her eyes and suppressed her smile. * I'm supposed to look from afar, not close like this. * Looking at her wrist watch, Ju Min was shocked at how late she was. * Holy! I'm going to be late! * Grabbing her bag, she stood up and Lay followed suit.

" Going somewhere, mei? " Lay asked and Ju Min nodded. " Yes! Music composition class! " * Ms Yong is so gonna kill me if I'm late! * Taking his bag, Lay offered, " I'll go with you since I'm in the same class as you. "

Hesitating for a minute, Ju Min nodded and she made a mad dash for composition class. Getting there in time as the second bell rang, Lay caught up with her and they entered the class together, evoking harsh comments.

" What's she doing here with Lay oppa? "

" Didn't Soo Jin teach her a lesson already? "

" Looks like that is not giving up anytime soon. "

When Soo Jin saw the both of them walk in together she could feel her blood boiling. * I thought I taught that a lesson on not to be with my boyfriend?! *

Ignoring all stares, Lay pushed Ju Min to go into the classroom and she looked around for an empty seat. Finding one at the back of the class, Ju Min made her way towards it. Suddenly, she was held back. She turned around and saw Lay holding onto her bag.

" Zhang Yixing, let go of my bag! " Ju Min shouted while struggling. Lay chuckled and shook his head. " Nope. " Ju Min sighed and let Lay drag her. But at the last moment, she slipped out from the straps of her bag and went to the empty seat.

Lay not feeling any struggling, turned around and saw Ju Min sticking out her tongue. * This girl. * he went to her seat and placed her bag onto the tale and went back to his seat, just in time as the teacher, Ms Yong entered.

Slamming her books onto the table, " Good Morning class! Today, I have a new assignment for you! " That made the class groan in complaint. She slammed her ruler on the table and everyone shut up.

" I have the list of patners here, so when I call your name, you sit with your partner. " The students held in their breaths as the teacher announced who their partners are, although al the girls were hoping to be partnered with Lay. * Delusional fangirls. *

" Park Yoonhae and Park Minhae! " Screams was heard as the twins jumped up and down and hugged each other.

" Baek Young and Lee Juhyun! " The shy and calm Juhyun started squealing as she took her bag and went to Baek Young. When she sat next to him, they immediately started hugging.

" NO PDA IN CLASS! " The teacher shouted and they peeled themselves away from each other. A few more names, and it was down to the last four people.

" Choi Soo Jin and... " Soo Jin held in her breath and started praying. * Please let it be Lay. Please let it be Lay. *

" Kim Jin Hyuk. " The teacher ended and Soo Jin's heart literally shattered. Meanwhile, Lay was estatic. * Which means Minnie is... *

" The last pair is Zhang Yi Xing and Park Min Ju! " The teahcer announced and two people stood up, " WHAT?! "

" Park Min Ju and Choi Soo Jin, sit down! " The teacher shouted.

" Ssem, I demand a change of partner!! " Soo Jin shouted. " No can do, Soo Jin. Partners are confirmed. NOW SIT DOWN! " Ms Yong slammed her ruler on the table and she sat down. Biting her lip, Ju Min took her bag and went to sit next to Lay.

" Hello, mei! I guess fate carried you to me again. " Lay smiled. Ju Min shot him a look and buried her head. * How am I going to distance myself now? *

" Now class, for the next period, I want you to discuss with your partner about what you're going to do. A reminder, it must be an original! " Ms Yong warned and the class nodded.

Lay turned to Ju Min and smiled, his dimples showing.

" Mei, where do you want to do the project? " He asked and Ju Min shrugged. " Where can we do the project? " Ju Min asked him.

" Your house? " Lay suggested. * I live at the dorms, and it is connected to the main building. * " Are you afraid of dogs? " Ju Min raised her eyesbrows.

" Nevermind. My house? " Lay asked and Ju Min shrugged, " Anything, ge. But when? "

" Saturday morning? " Lay said. * I have a mission Saturday night at some club. * " Alright. Tell me your address, ge. "

Ju Min took out a piece of paper as he told her his address in Kagnam. " Morning, what time? " Ju Min asked and Lay pondered.

" 8? " Ju Min nodded. Looking at the address, she knew she didn't have to wake up early as the apartment was nearby. " Alright. But will your parents be okay with me coming to your house on Saturday? " Ju Min asked.

" Yes, mei. They will be fine. They did know you since diapers. " Lay said and Ju min sighed, " But they didn't see me since you guys left. " Lay just smiled.

Finally, after 4 gruelling hours of music composition and flute lessons, the bell rang for break. Grabbing her bag, Ju Min left the music studio where her flute lessons were held and went to the cafeteria.

Makes my story longer and each chapter doesn't go astray so I can write the main point of the whole chapter. ^^
