Love Will Get You HomeIt is my 2nd week in Singapore and I am adapting along fine. Singapore is amazingly clean. I've been to a couple of places and now I'm just relaxing on the beach at Sentosa, an island there.
"Hey"
It was Matt. He is a guitarist at the Hard Rock Hotel at Sentosa. I met him because of the countless times that I was chilling there. We've talked almost everyday and I like him. He is lighthearted and always happy. It's nice to be around him.
He laid his beach mat beside mine and just embrace the heat.
"So where are you heading after your stay at sentosa?" I've explained my lifestyle to Matt.
"I was thinking Malaysia... Then I'll go back home, visit my family. After all... I miss home."
"You've really been traveling alone...?"
"Of course..."
"Do you mind if I go Malaysia with you?"
I thought about that for a while... I...
"Hey, no pressure. It's okay if you really would rather do it alone you know? It's just that I've been wanting to go Malacca for - "
"Let's go together," I looked at him and flashed a sincere smile.
His smile grew wider, "Let's go"
We packed our bags for the short trip and met at the check point where we took a bus into Malacca. I was astounded by how beautifully cultural this place is! The heritage, the culture, is so well kept. It's beautiful. I took a lot of pictures and finally, we were famished.
We settled down at the chicken rice balls restaurant. Back in Singapore, I've tried chicken rice and I loved it. But here in Malacca, they roll the rice in a form of a ball and serve it as a meal. It taste almost identical to the ones in Singapore but it just feels more unique when we have it here.
