Tiffany's POV

"Today's the day right?"Yoona asked nervously.

"Yeah, we'll do everything we can to keep PJ with us."Yuri said bravely.

"Yeah, no matter what, in the end, PJ will stay with us."Taeyeon said with a confident smile giving me courage.

"I don't want to go anywhere."We heard PJ's voice from behind us.

"And you won't."I said wrapping my arms around her.

"What will happen if they show the video?"PJ asked snuggling closer to me. 

"We're not sure yet baby."I said kissing the top of her head.

"Do you think the company's going to drop you?"She asked anxiously.

"Hopefully they won't, but we still don't know."Sunny said frowning.

"I'm sure they won't, you didn't do anything wrong, right?"PJ said pouting.

"We didn't?"Sooyoung asked smiling.

"It's not wrong to love, is it?"PJ said unsurely looking up at the giant making us chuckle.

"It's not, ut there's just people who don't like seeing other people happy."Yuri said giving PJ a sad smile.

"Like aunt Roberta and uncle Thomas."PJ said nodding in agreement.

"Who?"Taeyeon asked confused just like the rest of us.

"My former guardians. They just don't like the idea of me having fun."PJ said frowning.

"Well, now they can't stop you from having fun."I said pinching her cheek.

"Yeah, but now I have uncle Jerry taking that position."PJ said with another pout.

"Yeah, but you also have us taking the supposed position of your former guardians so you don't need to worry."Hyoyeon said smilig at PJ.

"I guess."PJ said smiling before turning to me. "Mommy~ I'm hungry~"She whined cutely making me smile. "Don't cook."She said blankly turning my smiling face to a glaring one while the rest of the girls laughed loudly.

Sunny's POV

We all looked around each other after Taeyeon read the letter outloud.

"It's on the day after tomorrow."Jessica said tearfully, turning to Yuri for comfort and the woman gave her just what she needed.

"Call everyone."Taeyeon said with a sigh before sititng down on the couch with her hand on her temples while I called my uncle, Yuri called her father and same with Tiffany while Hyoyeon called Mr.Valiente.

Everyone decided to meet at Mr.Valiente's place.

"Patrick, why don't you go upstairs in Miyeon's room. She's probably doing her homework.

"But I wan-"PJ started to complain but Jessica placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Baby please, we need to talk privately. C'mon, whatever we talk about you'll have knowledge of later. "Jessica said looking at PJ with comforting eyes.

"Okay,"PJ said dejectedly before bowing and turning away from everyone getting patted on the back or her ahead as she pass the others.

We all settled inside the Valientes' conference room with Mr.Valiente in one end and Mr.Kwon at the other.

"Let's cut to the chase, what do we do first?"Manager oppa started anxiously.

"We play along for now. You do the trial and we'll see from there."Mr.Valiente said plainly.

"I'm sorry what?"TIffany asked confused.

"We have the best lawyers around, they'll do their best to fight for you custody for PJ against the Koches."Mr.Kwon explained.

"But, we got nothing against them if we'll defend on a trial! No matter how good our lawyers are, with the video that they have, we'll never be able to have the rights to take care of PJ."Jessica argued.

"Yes, but we have to try to do this the right way first."Mr.Valiente said.

"But isn't it best to play their games the way they do now?"I asked.

"No, we have a better chance on the good side of the law if things got out of hand."Mr.Hwang said.

"But what if they win the first one and take PJ away from us? What are we going to do?"Yoona asked worriedly.

"They'll have her, in a week or two, and we'll take her back."Mr.Valiente said plainly.

"They could do something to her throughout those weeks."Jessica said worriedly.

"They wouldn't."Mr.Valiente said confidently.

"They won't be hurting her anytime soon."Mr.Kwon said seriously. "They still need PJ's signatures you know."He continued.

"For what?"Yuri asked confused.

"With the discoveries of PJ's still existence, all the properties are put back in her name and they need PJ to sign papers so they can keep the properties."Mr.Hwang explained.

"But they can have PJ do that within those two weeks and for sure they won't hesitate to hurt her after that."Sooyoung said.

"PJ can't sign papers to legaly transfer properties, at her age. She needs to be 21 to be able to do so."Mr.Kwon replied.

"So they can't hurt PJ until she turns 21?"Yuri asked hopefully.

"They can, the only way to take the properties out of PJ's ownership is death."Mr.Valiente said.

"Then why are you going to let them take the kid?! They might do something bad to her!"Unlce said bewildered by that answer just like the rest of us.

"They can, but I told you, they won't."Mr.Kwon said sighing. "It's too soon! If PJ gets hurt or worse, they'll be put in questioning. They took PJ from living peacefully with you and the kid got hurt after such a short period of time and their possible ownership of the properties under PJ's name if the kid was ever dead can be use against them."Mr.Kwon said and I let out a sigh of relief.

"So, you're certain that they won't hurt PJ?"Tiffany asked hesitantly.

"Jerry is a smart man, and so are the rest of the Koches. They are evil geniuses. Where'd you think PJ got her devious thinking mind?"Mr.Valiente asked with a chuckle.

"PJ's not devious, okay maybe quite but you know what I mean."Jessica defended.

"Then you know what I mean then."He replied with another chuckle.

"Why do you seem so nonchalant about this?"Taeyeon asked frowning.

"Because we have evidences against the Koches."He replied standing up and taking a folder from the shelf by the window.

"In there, is the list of all illegal transaction that Koches were involved in before."Mr.Hwang said motioning at the folder that Yuri took and opened.

"If we have this, why can't we just make a deal with the Koches and trade them for the video?"Yoona asked.

"Like what I told you, Koch family is a family of geniuses, evil geniuses and they'll do anything to have things go their way. They'll go as far as killing everyone close to you. If we try to play their games their way now, we'll lose, not only PJ but our lives. But with the law knowing about the battle over PJ's custody, one of us gets hurt the Koches can be put into questioning."Mr.Valiente answered and I have to agree that everything they say makes sense. Any wrong move and it might cost us our lives.

"With these evidences, they can be put in jial or and if not they won't be granted PJ's guarding rights."Mr.Kwon said. 

"Can I ask you somethin sirs?"Seohyun who has been quiet ever since this talk started raised her hand.

"What is it Joohyun-ah?"Appa Hwang asked.

"The video that they showed us, they can be considered illegal evidences right? So they can't use it in court, they can get them in trouble."She said and we all stared at her in shock. Except the four veteran businessmen in the room.

"What do you mean?"Sooyoung asked.

"Seohyun is right."Uncle said.

"She is, but so are these evidences that we have."Mr.Valiente said.

"I know these ones that we have are, but how is the video illegal?"Yuri asked and I realized what Seohyun meant.

"Because obviously, uncle didn't gave them permission to put their own cameras inside anywhere the company. It means that they either tapped our own ones or they had someone else install their own inside the company without anyone else knowing."I said uncertain.

"That's right."Mr.Kwon said smiling at me.

"Then the court won't use it?"Taeyeon asked hopefully.

"As an advantage for the Koches' chance to get custody? No. But talking about law of humanity the video itself speaks for the truth that you girls are publicly unfit to have a child under you care."Mr.Valiente said bitterly.

"What's that supposed to mean?"Hyoyeon asked offended.

"I don't mean to hurt your feelings girls, but it's the truth. Not the rest of the world will be as accepting as we are."Appa Hwang said apologetically.

"Then we can't use these ones either."Yuri said tossing the folder on the middle of the table.

"We can, with the fact that they still used the video as an evidence against your capability take care of PJ, we can appeal to them if they question our evidences."Mr.Kwon said confidently.

"Meaning, although they didn't use the video for the Koches direct advantage, they still based your current status to the contents of the video."Appa Hwang explained.

"So basically it'll be like PJ was given to the Koches because they're the only rlatives she has left?"Yuri asked and her dad nodded.

"If these are used against the Koches, how ar eyou sure that we can have PJ back?"Taeyeon asked.

"You won't but I will and that basically means that you cna have PJ back."Mr.Valiente said smiling confidently.
