"What the..." Mei Li groaned as she opened her eyes.

She tried to lift her hands to rub her eyes, only to realize they were tied around her back. Then she finally remembered.

***flashback***

Ding dong!

Mei Li went down from her room to answer the door. Is Anne back so fast?

She flung the door open and instantly stepped back upon seeing who it was. "What—"

She suddenly felt something being shoved on before she out.

***end of flashback***

"Finally awake now?" a voice asked.

Mei Li whipped her head around to see her old friend walking towards her. She was sitting on the floor with her back against the wall, so he bent down to her level. "Hello Mei Li," he said.

Mei Li looked away, not wanting to see his face. "What do you want?” she growled.

"Ouch," Dongjun chuckled. "The Mei Li I knew wasn't so mean."

"And the Dongjun I knew would never kidnap me," she mumbled.

He just laughed again and stood up. "I find it funny how you're not scared right now."

Yea, I'm not scared! Not scared at all...haha... Mei Li gulped, forcing herself ot look at him.

He looked exactly the same. He still had on his signature smile and bright eyes, but a voice inside of Mei Li told her that something was different.

"W-Why did you bring me here?" Mei Li asked, failing to put up a brave front.

"Simple," Dongjun stated, going off somewhere.

After a minute, he came back with something in his hand, but he hid it behind him. Mei Li tried to peer over to see what it was, but he wouldn't let her.

Mei Li looked around the room to see where the door was, but found out they were on the second floor. It was a rather nice home since Dongjun's family was rich – he even lived alone.

Suddenly, she heard a loud bang and familiar voices from downstairs. "MEI LI!"

Her eyes widened and Dongjun pulled her up so she was standing next to him. Six figures came into the room and froze when they saw the two.

"Noona!" Tao exclaimed.

He was about to run over to her, but Dongjun suddenly grabbed her neck with one hand. Mei Li’s breath caught and she looked over at him to see him holding a knife in his other hand. That's what he was hiding. Mei Li shuddered.

Tao stopped in his tracks and he and the rest of EXO-M gasped.

"Nice to see you guys again," Dongjun smiled slyly.

Mei Li looked at him from the corner of her eye. Something happened to him. He's changed.

"You got my letter?" he continued. "That was pretty fast."

What letter? Mei Li wondered.

"What do you want," Kris stated as he pulled Tao back.

Mei Li turned to look at EXO-M. Her eyes met Luhan's and he never blinked once, worried it would be the last time he could look at her.

"Easy," Dongjun replied. He took the knife and held it against Mei Li’s throat. Mei Li closed her eyes, bracing for the end.

"DON'T!" a voice shouted.

She felt the knife press against her skin, but nothing else.
