I can't believe she's here. After all this time, I finally get to see her again. Words can't even explain how I feel right now. A whole year has passed. She's gotten even prettier, but she's still got her innocence. Luhan continued to stare at her while trying not to smile.

But who the heck is that Dongjun guy? Did she move on already? She told me she had a hard time of trusting guys to be her friends, and now she shows up with a guy? He felt his eyebrows furrowing as his gaze landed on Dongjun. Luhan had so many questions that needed answers.

Why did he backhug Mei Li? Does he have feelings for her? If he's another one of those guys that take advantage of her, I swear, I'll just—

"Noona! You should come hang out with us tonight!" Tao exclaimed joyfully, interrupting Luhan’s thoughts.

"Yea! I think we're done shopping for today. Come with us to Kris's house!" Chen suggested.

"Oh, so that's why you guys are here," Mei Li noted. She never thought she'd run into them again.

"So you'll come?" Lay asked.

"She can come over, right duizhang?" Tao tugged Kris's arm.

Kris took a quick glance at Luhan and replied, "Sure. I don't see why not."

"Uhm..." Mei Li thought about whether she should go or not. Spending more time with Luhan didn’t seem like a good idea to her, no matter how much she missed him. However, she really did miss all of EXO, and she didn’t want to worry them or make things awkward. So…

 "Alright,” she exhaled.

"Yaaaaay!" Tao threw his hands up in celebration.

"Well then, I guess I'll be making my leave first. I'll see you tomorrow, Mei," Dongjun said, calling her by her English nickname.

"You can come too if you want," Kris added politely.

Dongjun looked at him with creased eyebrows, so Mei Li mouthed, “It’s alright, you have an appointment.”

"Thanks for the invite, but I have to go. I'll come next time. Have fun!" Dongjun said as he walked off.

He stopped in his tracks and turned back, "Oh," he called out, "and if anything happens, just call me!"

Nothing bad is going to happen, Dongjun. After Mei Li told him all about her and Luhan, Dongjun didn't get such a good first impression of Luhan. But no matter what, Mei Li still knew Luhan wouldn't physically hurt her in any way. He wasn’t that type of person.

"Let's go, noona!" said Tao as he linked arms with her and dragged them ahead of everyone else to the bus station.

"Yah! Maknae! Where do you think you're taking her?" Xiumin hollered.

Tao turned his head and stuck out his tongue, "You guys are too slow! Not my fault!"

Soon, they boarded the bus and thankfully, there were only a few senior citizens that didn't even notice their presence on board. Mei Li was sandwiched in between Tao and Xiumin while Lay sat with Chen and Luhan sat with Kris. Every so often, Xiumin and Tao would start bickering again and Mei Li couldn't help but smile. I really do miss these moments!

However, she'd occasionally catch herself stealing glances at Luhan, but he was always in deep conversation with Kris. So, she merely observed him while Tao and Xiumin argued about who knows what. She couldn't help but notice that Luhan got more muscular. Yes, she knew he had abs and some muscles despite his skinny figure before, but now his biceps hidden under those sleeves was more noticeable, and he was taller as well. He also changed his hair colour again, and Mei Li felt that it suit him better. His style gave off a manlier aura despite his baby-face.

Wait, what the heck are you thinking about Mei Li! Snap out of it before you start drooling. She gently slapped her cheeks to distract herself.

"Noona...what are you doing?" Tao asked as he stared at her with a confused expression.

"Huh?" she lowered her hands and blushed, "Oh...haha. Uh, I was falling asleep...so...yea." Geez Mei Li, how can you still be so pathetic at lying!

"Look what you did! You probably made her tired and bored with all the blabbering you did!" Xiumin scolded Tao.

And then, they were off again.

I see nothing has changed between you two though, haha. Mei Li chuckled softly.

"Dude, are you okay?" Kris asked Luhan. Why haven't you tackled Mei Li in a bear-hug yet? Unlike Tao, haha.

"Yea. I'm feeling greaaaat," Luhan replied sarcastically.

"Why don't you explain everything to her?" Kris suggested, "You've been looking for her for an entire year and you finally found her. Nothing's stopping you now."

"Really? Nothing? What about that Dongjun guy," Luhan noted.

Kris rolled his eyes in disbelief, "Oh please. Don't tell me you're worried because of him."

Luhan scowled, "Seems like they were pretty touchy-touchy back at the store."
