Luhan’s eyelids fluttered and he slowly opened them, squinting due to the sudden brightness in his vision. He propped himself up with his elbow while his other hand rubbed his eyes sleepily. “Eh?” he mumbled.

“Yah, it’s your birthday today! Aren’t you excited?” Lay exclaimed cheerfully.

“Why? It comes every year,” Luhan stated.

“But it’s your first birthday after our debut!” Chen retorted.

Kris noticed the lack of excitement in Luhan’s voice, so he added something that would definitely make him happier. “And remember, you get to see Mei Li today.”

“Hyung! You care about her more than you care about us!” Tao whined, noticing his hyung’s change in expression.

Luhan laughed. “Well, I see you guys every day. It almost sickens me,” he joked.

“Hmmmph,” Tao harrumphed, crossing his arms.

Kris swung his arm over Tao’s shoulders, “Don’t worry, maknae. I never get sick of seeing you.”

“Hehe, Kris hyung is the best!” Tao squealed with a grin.

“Aisssh, stop with your aegyo already!” Xiumin complained, “I’m in charge of that!”

“Yah! You take that back!” Xiumin threatened him, chasing after Tao as he ran around the room.

“Really? That’s great!” Luhan smiled. Even though they were all a part of EXO, they hadn’t been able to see the subgroup often after debuting.
