Mr. Perfect Gets Nervous Too You Know?

Forever

“See you tomorrow Haemi!”

“Mm see you tomorrow Saera!” You waved goodbye to your classmate before shoving your books into your bag. An extremely long day of classes has finally ended but you have another three hours of work at Build-a-bear. With a deep sigh you walked through the front doors of the University and make your way to work.

“Now rub the heart over your cheeks and place a kiss on it to show your teddy just how much you love her.” A giant smile is plastered on your tired face as you help a little girl stuff her build-a-bear. After she finished with the tiny red heart, she placed it back into your hands for you to put it into her bear.

“There, now hug your teddy and tell me if she’s too hard or too soft alright?” The little girl nodded before grabbing the bear and hugging it tightly.

“It’s perfect unnie!” The forced smile on your face became a real one from the little girl’s adorable reaction. You took the bear from her hands and sewed the back together nicely.

“Alright, you’re almost done.” You gave the bear back to her and pointed at the station next to yours. “That oppa over there will help you out with fluffing her fur before you get to dress her okay?” The little girl nodded her head again and grabbed her mother’s jeans with her free hand.

“Thank you unnie! Come on omma, let’s go!”

You turned away from the little girl and stared at the long line in front of you. You rubbed your sore cheeks and put on the best smile you could muster up. “Next in line please.”

“Suho oppa, where are we going? The bus to go home is that way.”

“I promised you a teddy bear for your sixth birthday remember? I can’t make it to your birthday party tomorrow so I’m taking you to get your gift now.” Suho patted his younger cousin’s head and held his hand out for her to hold.

“Really?! Yay! Oppa, you’re the best.” Taking his hand, Suho and his cousin, Mina, made their way towards the shopping center. The moment they stepped foot inside Mina tugged onto Suho’s arm and pointed at the most popular store amongst the girls her age.

“You want a teddy bear from there?”

“Mhm! Let’s go oppa!” Suho laughed as his cousin dragged him into the store. She let go of his hand when a giant panda caught her eye, she ran towards the bin below it and took one out immediately. “I want this one!”

“Alright, oppa will buy this one for you.” Suho took his cousin's hand again and headed for the stuffing line up in the back, his eyes widened in horror when he saw how big it was. This store really is very popular.

There’s only ten more minutes before you shift ends and you couldn’t help but stare at your watch every now and then; just a little more before you can go home. You got up from your seat and placed a stop sign at your station. “My shift ends soon so everyone behind the yellow line painted on the floor please go to the next line. Thank you very much.” You bowed quickly before returning to your seat. You continued to help the kids stuff their teddy’s and before you knew it; you’re finally at your last customer. “Next in line please.”

A little girl with jet black hair, almond shaped black eyes and chubby cheeks came running towards you while wearing a massive winter coat and holding a panda teddy bear. “Yay it’s my turn!” You looked at the little girl and couldn’t help but smile at her enthusiasm.

“Yep, it’s your turn alright.” You reached for the bear but got surprised when she didn’t let go. “Unnie needs to help you stuff your teddy, is it okay for me to take her from you for a little bit?”

“Can we wait just a little bit unnie? Oppa is in the washroom and I want to wait until he gets back, he said he’d be back real fast.” You took a glance at your watch then at the loveable little girl. A few minutes wouldn’t hurt.

“Oh that’s fine; we can wait for your oppa.” You remained seated while the little girl held onto her bear with a death grip. You giggled and placed your hand over hers.

“You know, you need to handle your bear with care right? You wouldn’t want your teddy to get ruined.” The little girl looked up at you and beamed.

“Thank you for telling me unnie, I completely forgot that panda bear would get hurt if I hold onto him too tightly. I’m just too use to that since Suho oppa always tells me to hold on tight when we walk home from school. He doesn’t want to risk losing my hand.” You stopped listening to the little girl after hearing Suho’s name. He’s her brother?

“Unnie, oppa’s back!” You looked up and felt your cheeks heat up. You would have never expected him to come here and see you, especially since your hair is currently tied up into two high pigtails and a head band with two bear ears is situated on your head.

“Oh, Haemi-ssi?”

“Yeah, it’s me. Hi Suho-ssi.”

The next five minutes were the longest five minutes of your life. You kept looking up to a smiling Suho in embarrassment from the cheesy words that left your mouth. You only had the sewing part left and were more than happy to do so; you just wanted to get out of there. You took the bear from which you learned to be Suho’s cousin’s hand and began to sew the back together. You were so embarrassed and nervous from the fact that Suho was standing there watching that you ended up pricking your finger.

“Ah.” You flinched then felt a large hand wrap around your slender ones.

“Are you okay?” Looking up, you almost forgot to breathe from how close Suho’s face is to yours. You pulled your hand back and sewed the last of the bear while answering Suho’s question, praying that he didn’t see how pink your cheeks were.

“Yep, perfectly fine.” You held up the bear and gave it to the smiling girl. “Your panda bear is done. Next you’ll have to fluff her fur at the station behind me; the nice oppa there will help you.”

“Thank you unnie!” She took the bear from your hands and sprinted to the next station right away while Suho stayed behind.

“Um… is your finger alright? I can go get you a band aid if you’d like.” Just as you had expected from when you first met him, this man really is an angel.

“My finger is alright, see it stopped bleeding already so you don’t need to get me a band aid Suho-ssi.” You placed your finger up to show him quickly before bringing your hand back down to your sides.

“Okay then… um, thank you for doing such a good job with Mina’s bear. I guess, I’ll um… see you next time.” Is he feeling nervous right now? You couldn’t help but smile at the thought.

“Yeah, I’ll see you around campus.” Suho waved goodbye and walked towards his cousin while you headed to the back to change out of your work clothes. As you opened the door you heard Mina’s voice but dismissed it, she’s probably still picking an outfit for her bear.

“Oppa! The pretty unnie is done!”

“Shh! Not so loud Mina! I don’t want her thinking oppa is weird.” Mina put her left hand over and giggled.

“Oops, sorry oppa.” Suho chuckled and ruffled her hair.

“It’s okay Mina, oppa is just nervous.”

“Nervous? Just go talk to her! Unnie seems really nice.” Suho looked over at you and felt the time around him stop. You looked so beautiful that he didn’t know what to do. He felt a small hand wrap around his and before he knew it he followed Mina all the way towards you.

“Unnie!” You heard Mina’s voice again and turned around this time, it sounded like she’s calling for you. As you turned around you were face to face with Suho. The shock caused you to lose your balance, making you fall straight into Suho’s arms. Your heart began to beat at an incredible speed from the contact. Getting up to your feet immediately you looked at an equally flushed Suho and apologized, thanking your parent’s awesome genes for the fact that you can hide your embarrassment better than most

“I’m so sorry! I can be such a klutz sometimes!”

“D-don’t worry about it… um… are you a-alright?” Suho on the other hand, always stutters when he’s nervous.

“Yeah, thanks to you I’m alright.” You tried to calm your racing heart down as you spoke to Suho.

“That’s uh… good to hear.”

“Yeah, that’s good to hear unnie!” Both you and Suho looked down at Mina, the two of you had forgotten about the fact that she was still there for a moment.
