"You're....." I swallowed, "welcome....." My heart was going crazy, I couldn't believe how lame I must have looked. I could physically feel my face burning up.

I kept telling myself to calm down but honestly I couldn't. I was getting kind of jealous of Jia, I didn't understand how she could act like herself around Minki while I acted like a flustered idiot. But maybe I shouldn't hide from my feelings. I should just be true to what I feel and try my best to live my life and see what happens in the end. I need to face what is being shown before me and act accordingly. There are still some things I'm afraid of and don't understand, but I know that there are ways of getting through them. I don't know what will happen between Jia or Jr, but I'm certain Jr will do anything to be with Manwah and Manwah would do the same. None of us have confessed our feelings yet. I assume that we're all afraid of rejection, which is the one obvious reason we've been hiding our emotions. But sooner or later, we're going to have to it all up and say the truth.


JR POV


I was not focusing on my exam as much as I should have been. I couldn't believe Hana switched places with Manwah! I was going to kill her later! The whole time all I could think of was how close Manwah was. Two hours. Two whole stupid hours I was mentally freaking out over the stupidest things. Every time Manwah would remember an answer she would smile to herself and quickly jot it down so she wouldn't forget. Then whenever she would be stuck on a question she would cross her legs and tap her pencil against her head. I couldn't take how aware I was. I had to bite my lip and control all the things I wanted to say.

But once Manwah finally finished her exam I was able to focus, sort of, I just couldn't help but get really embarrassed when she noticed me staring at her.

I only stayed a couple minutes longer until I was finished my exam and handed it in.

As I walked down the hall to where my jacket was, I noticed Manwah leaning against the wall on the outside of the building. I rapidly grabbed my coat and slipped it on. I had a huge smile on face when I realized she was waiting for me. I jogged down the hall to the exit. But my steps became slower and slower, until they came to a stop. My smile faltered and my brows furrowed in concern.

Manwah wasn't alone. She was with Minhyun. A feeling of pain hit my heart. I cringed at the site of him. I didn't like him talking to her. I didn't want him talking to her.

She was mine. She belonged to me.

I casually burst out of the school and walked towards Manwah. Minhyun was smiling and acting shy around her while she was putting on her polite smile and kind eyes. Once the door closed behind me Manwah looked up and saw me. Her smile grew extremely wider and her cheeks turned slightly pink.

"Hey!" She waved. Minhyun turned to me and cocked an eyebrow of annoyance. I didn't smile at Manwah but instead got right up close to Minhyun's face and gave him my famous glare.

"What are you doing?" I growled. Minhyun slightly laughed at me but put on his innocent look again and faced Manwah.

"I'll see you later, seems like I'm not wanted." He bowed to her, and before leaving, he gave me his menacing glare while coming up to my ear. "Good luck." He whispered, then left. I watched him walk away with utter disgust in my eyes.

He was not going to take her away. And I was going to make sure of that.


MANWAH POV


I was waiting outside for Jr. It wasn't that cold out, but I could tell my cheeks were becoming pinker because of the wind.

I couldn't help but giggle at how Minki dashed out of the school in search for Hana. He was slowly coming out of his shell. It wasn't much, but it was still something.

"Manwah!" Someone called. I jerked my head up to the voice. It was a boys voice. It wasn't familiar. I didn't recognize it. I looked around and was soon met by a handsome guy with short brown hair and a sweet smile. I felt a little uncertain around him but I bowed to him none other the less.

"Hello." I greeted cautiously, really wanting Jr to be here. How did he know my name?

"Hi, um," he paused to catch his breath, "my name's Minhyun." He introduced. I blinked my eyes several times.

Minhyun? Wasn't he one of Jr's friends?

"It's nice to meet you." I mumbled. I remembered Jr really speaking strangely about him. I couldn't really get anything from it because he hadn't really said much about Minhyun. But I knew something was off about him. And if Jr felt uneasy around him, I was going to respect his caution and feel the same way.

"I really wanted to talk to you for a long time." He started. "I would've spoken sooner but you were always around Jr." He explained. My smile twisted a bit. My heart was beating faster now, I was getting worried. He couldn't talk to me before because Jr was there? Why? Why couldn't Jr be there? Would he say something Jr wouldn't like? Would he do something Jr wouldn't approve? If Jr was there what would happen? What?

I swallowed hard.

"O-oh really?" I stuttered, slightly looking to the left where the front door was.

"Yeah, I have a something to ask you." He said. My eyes darted back to him. His eyes were distant. I couldn't tell where he was going with this.

"Um, o-okay." I said back, gripping the hem of my jacket. Where was Jr? How much more of his exam did he have to finish? I really wished he'd hurry up-

My train of though got cut off when I heard the front door close. I looked up and saw Jr making his way over to me. My eyes gleamed. I smiled wider, I felt a blush creep up my face, I prayed that the cold weather would cover it up.

"Hey!" I waved out of shear happiness. But instead of greeted me back he stalked up to Minhyun covering him from my view. My heart leaped out of my chest. Was he...protecting me? I took a deep breath to calm my over dose of excitement.

"What are you doing?" I heard Jr say with a deep husky voice. I almost melted. Minhyun chuckled a little before turning to me with an innocent smile.

"I'll see you later, seems like I'm not wanted." He told me. I narrowed my brows at him. He then bowed turned to Jr and whispered something in his ear before leaving.

Jr waited until Minhyun was out of sight before swiftly turning to me with concern written all over his face.

"What did he say?" He asked. My heart rate sped up.

"He said he had something to ask me." I replied truthfully. Jr thought about that for a moment.

"Damn it..." He mumbled, he looked around in frustration before turning back to me, "Listen," he began, "don't believe anything Minhyun says, he's a lying bastard who only wants revenge." I made a confused look.

"Revenge?" I repeated. Jr blushed and looked away. "Why does he want revenge?" He nervously cleared his throat.

"W-well...it's a long story." He said, trying to avoid the topic. But I was having none of that.

"Spill it! I need to know!" I pondered. Jr gazed at his feet and considered it for a second.

"Okay...fine..." He mumbled keeping his eyes away from me. I nodded my head for him to continue, but realized he wasn't looking at me and I felt stupid.

"Go on." I assured. Jr sighed then looked up at me.

"Alright," he started, "Minhyun found out about my, arranged marriage just a little while ago. I don't think anyone knows this except for me, but, he likes Jia." My eyes grew wide.

"He likes...her?!" I exclaimed in disbelief.

"Yeah..." Jr rolled his eyes, "Anyways, Minhyun doesn't like me anymore because of that, and he also doesn't like Minki. I've explained to him that I don't like Jia and he understands that, but for some stupid reason he still hates me. So now since he can't end up with the girl he likes he's making sure I don't end up with y-" Jr froze. His face turned completely red and he rapidly looked away. What...what happened?

"What's wrong?" I asked clearly confused. He awkwardly laughed and scratched the back of his head.

"S-so y-yeah...d-don't trust w-what he says..." He mumbled. I saw his ears tint red.

"J-"

"I-I'm going t-to go u-um...t-to our dorm..." He stuttered.

"Hey wai-"

"S-see y-yeah!" He then suddenly walked off. I stared dumbfounded at the back of Jr's coat getting farther and farther away.

No way in hell is he leaving me like that! I told myself before running after him.

HANA POV

We were sort of just staring at each other for a long time. A very long time. After his little thank you all I could do was stare into his brown eyes. They were mesmerizing. I probably looked really really stupid but I couldn't care less right now. After getting that reaction from the guy of my dreams, I think I could afford looking dorky for a little while.

“Are you okay?” Minki asked, breaking the silence that filled the air between us. I blinked my eyes to his lips.

“U-um...I-I uh...y-yeah...I-I'm okay...” I stuttered swiftly looking to the book in front of me. There a slight moment of silence.

“Do you like it?” He questioned. I averted my gaze to him for a split second.

“L-like what?” I wondered.

“The book.” he replied. I awkwardly laughed.

“O-oh, u-uh y-yeah. I like it a lot.” I told him with a small smile.

“I'm glad you like it.”

I ducked my head low to cover my burning face.

I think...this is the longest conversation I've like ever had with him...I thought. I like hearing his voice...I...I wonder if he could continue reading Romeo and Juliet to me...

I shook my head.

Oh my God no way am I going to ask him to read a romance book...but...maybe I should...yeah...wait...no. Would he? I mean...if I asked...would he...actually...do it?

I thought about this for a moment.

Y-yeah...I guess it's worth a shot...

I slowly raised my head to Minki. He was watching me with his same blank face. Yet, it was different, he seemed more curious.

“U-um...” I started, “c-can you- I mean, only if you w-want to, it's not like you have to do it o-or anything. B-but...u-um...can you continue reading...Romeo and Juliet...to me...” I lamely finished. Minki sat there observing me for a couple seconds before smirking and getting up form his chair.

Oh no...I blew it...I probably looked so lame and dorky...I want to die right now I'm so embarrassed...

He walked around the table to where I was and pulled out the chair next to me. I shyly looked up at him and saw him coolly grinning at me with some weird glint in his eye. He sat down in the seat beside me and leaned back crossing his arms. He brought his left leg over his right making himself comfortable. I awkwardly watched him, sort of keeping my head down.

He just sat there and did nothing; just watching me. I looked away form him to my lap.

What is he doing? ... Am I supposed to say something? Why is he sitting beside me?

I took a quick glance at him, he was still looking at me. I rapidly looked away.

This is so awkward...

“I don't have it.” he suddenly spoke up. I raised a confused brow and turned my head to him.

“W-what?” I shyly asked.

“The book,” he continued, “it's in my room.”

“U-um...okay?” I replied, really confused to why he was telling me this.

“Can you come and get it with me?” he said realizing I had no clue where he was going with this. My face turned a darker red, if that was possible.

Me? Go to his room? ...J-just the two of us? U-um...o-okay...I was not expecting that...

“S-sure...” I mumbled. Minki got up from the chair and began walking away. My heart skipped a beat and I quickly got up and followed, not forgetting to snatch Own in the process.

I couldn't believe it, I was going to see his room.
