Danger*
Switch {Revamped} - On Hiatus“Oppa, get out of your room.”
Sunny banged the door until the older guy shouted from the inside—in order to stop her. It was pretty obvious from his voice that he has nasal congestion. She can’t understand what he was saying because he was also talking in between his sneezes. She could even hear him blow his nose.
Yuck.
Apparently, Donghae caught a cold three days ago and locked himself in his room because of it. She found him still lying on his bed—groggy and messy—tissues scattered everywhere.
Really gross.
“Granny said I’ll take you to the hospital.”
“No,” he opposed. “I don’t want to go. Look—I’m fine—and this is just a simple cold.”
She rolled her eyes. Aside from his voice that proved he was really sick, he also looked pale.
Donghae, supposedly, should’ve taken over their company a few days ago, but unfortunately, he got sick. He just came home one day soaked and sneezing. It felt nostalgic when he ranted about the girl who did that to him. It was similar on what happened during their high school days—when again, he complained about the girl who bumped onto him.
And here, she always thought, every woman adored her cousin—and he likes all of them in return. So, how come he hated ‘this girl’ and ‘this girl’ doesn’t seem to like him too?
“Make me a seaweed soup.”
She snapped back to reality. “Huh? It isn’t even your birthday.”
“Just cook me any soup.”
She went to their kitchen then but found no ingredients for it. She didn’t want to bother their maid to do an errand for her; instead she went to the supermarket herself.

When Sunny went out, Donghae tried to crawl out of his bed and made his way to the bathroom. He stared at his reflection on the mirror—muttering curses. His nose was red, his eyes were swollen, and his eye bags made him look dreadful.
“I swear…if I’m going to see that girl again—”
Whoever the person calling him better have a good reason for disturbing him… He let out an exasperated sigh when he read Kyuhyun’s name on the screen.
“What?”
“Eh?” There was a brief pause—as if the younger guy was observing his mood. “Why do you sound so agitated?”
Who wouldn’t be? Getting played by a girl was the biggest disgrace in his life. He really fell for her trick. Stupid, Lee Donghae.
“Your charms aren’t working in Seoul, right?”
“Shut up! It does—but not on a particular girl.” He felt a nerve on his temple twitch as he recalled what happened to him. “I met this girl—a really crazy girl and she pushed me on the fountain.”
The wheels on his brain were already turning this way and that. He couldn’t fathom how his charms turned ineffective on that girl. It annoys the hell out of him. All through his life, it’s the girls who came near him. He never wooed anyone. But that girl literally pushed him like a piece of dirt.
What is wrong with her? He went back to the mirror. What is wrong with me? His face was fine—more than fine. Girls won’t swoon over him if not for his beautiful features.
“Am I ugly?”
That caused the younger guy to crack up a hearty laugh and . “You’re losing your cool because of that girl?” Donghae was speechless for moment and just listened to Kyuhyun. “She must be something. You were never conscious of how you look like.”
He has a point.
He would never have this unsettling feeling on his chest if that girl has no effect on him. She took his breath away when she offered to help him. Even if she wore a simple tee and jeans—and her hair was like made in haste, he has to admit she was a beauty. He liked her expressive eyes that once showed her sweetness—and anger. No. She’s crazy.
“I’ll make that girl fall in love with me. How dare she say I am not his type?”
“Hey! Are you serious? You sound like you’re challenging yourself, Hyung.”
“I am,” he stated in a serious tone. That girl must be punished.
