Kai's Little Secret*
Switch {Revamped} - On HiatusKrystal’s last period teacher dismissed their class early today. It meant she has additional 30-minutes to her practice time. And if she could master her routine perfectly, she can go home earlier, too. She didn’t notice Sehun beside her as she walked towards the door. Hence, she was surprised when he opened it for her. When she glanced at him, she got irritated to see his usual poker face.
It would be best if he can stretch his facial muscles a bit. She thought. Is it hard for him to smile?
“What’s that all about, Krystal Jung?” she murmured once he left her. “Should you be concerned with his life?” She smacked her head. “You shouldn’t, okay?”
With her long strides, she arrived at the gymnasium immediately. What surprised her upon entering the ice rink was Kai talking to her coach—Kim Yuna. What is he doing here?
“Hey, Coach,” she greeted.
“You’re early, today…” Yuna commented.
“Mr. Park has something urgent to do.”
“Lucky you,” she smiled knowingly. “By the way, Hyunwoo (Krystal’s partner) can’t come to practice for a week. He was prohibited by his doctor to come because he injured his right ankle.”
“But the Olympics is three weeks away—”
“That’s why Kai is here to replace him.”
“W-what?” Her eyes almost popped out of its sockets.
“We can’t afford to lose the game so as early as now, we should find a replacement. And I think Kai is good enough.”
Oh great! If he doesn’t do so, then they’re dead. She sees no hope of winning the figure skating category.
“I’ve been teaching him for an hour now and he easily learnt everything.”
It doesn’t sound surprising. He’s a dancer…
“For today, it’ll only be Kai who will practice so that in the next meeting you’d be able to the routines together and won’t confuse each other,” she explained. “If you have nothing else to ask, I’m dismissing you but go to the Faculty Room, okay? The Head Teacher wanted to talk to you.”

Faculty Room? What business is she needed for there? She can’t recall herself violating the school rules and regulations. In fact, she’s a diligent student. And if she really did something bad, she must go to the guidance office instead.
“What are you doing here?” Sulli asked her when she arrived in the teacher’s room. Her friend was there for her extracurricular works as a scholar.
“Ms. Kim said that the Head Teacher wanted to see me,” she answered.
“I see…but she is still talking to Sehun right now.” Her brows met and Sulli grinned. “Curious, aint ya?” she elbowed her side.
“Oh please—what are you talking about?” she said in an annoyed tone. But why is he here?—AISH! Her mind betrayed her.
“I think…you and Sehun are getting weirder each day.”
“How can you say that? Sulli-ah, if that isn’t worth listening for—do not dare mention it.”
“Psssh…Boring…” Sulli made face and sulked. “I was about to say that he had changed and began talking to you in our classes. I wasn’t the only one who noticed that…” she paused to ponder whether she’ll tell her or not. “That he might like you—”
“Who likes who?” interrupted a voice behind them.
The girls were shocked. Krystal blushed unwittingly, became speechless and was ashamed. What if he heard them? Jung Krystal, dig your grave now. Sulli, too, found it hard to grasp something to say.
“No one,” she responded and forced a smile. “You—d-done talking to Madame?”
Sehun’s brows knotted—confused as to why Sulli diverted the topic. “Not yet—she asked me to look for Jung.” He glanced at her. “Let’s get inside.”
“O-okay.”
She walked hesitantly and like a robot. A lady in her mid-40’s welcomed her with a smile. “Sit, children.” She motioned them to occupy the sofa in front of her desk.
“What am
