Chapter 36: Appreciate

Tiffany frowns as she listen attentively to what the guy had been saying for the past couple of minutes. She wasn’t too keen to any of this so-called-proposal. If you ask her honest opinion, she would blurt how preposterous the idea was.

Yuri glance at her girlfriend, dissatisfaction was clearly evident on the letter’s face. She sigh lightly. What was she supposed to say? Or do? She can’t back out from this “situation”, she promised Jessica she would help her out of whatever disaster that she got them into. Plus, Jessica DID help her to get Tiffany, so, she owes her BIG time.

On the other side of the room, the famous model put up her stone cold face. Her mind wonders around as she scrutinizes Yuri’s girlfriend, Tiffany. She must admit that for an intern she is one hella catch. She smirks a little, a lil bit proud that the dorky archeologist would managed to land on a beauty like her.

“So, that was pretty much the whole idea” the curly guy smiles a little too much for Tiffany’s liking.

“So, basically, Yuri needs to be Miss. Jessica’s ex-girlfriend?”

“Ah yes, that’s pretty much it” The petite blonde added “This is to clear any speculation that involves Jessica and Miss. Kwon”

“Is that so?”

Yaikes!, for a bubbly cheery ball of sunshine like Tiffany Hwang, she can be pretty intimidating at times.

Sensing the vibe that surrounded her girlfriend, Yuri immediately takes the latter’s hand and gently rubs it. This didn’t go unnoticed by the model.

Looking back at the tan woman, Tiffany’s fiery gaze softened a little, she felt stupid and embarrass at the same time.

“I understand your concern in this matter Miss. Hwang, but we can reassure you that after we announced their ‘relationship’, the paps wouldn’t be a bother too much” The curly haired guy says.

“Wouldn’t be a bother too much? Why do I feel that the sentence enunciated that there are probability that this ‘matter’ still goes on even after you announced their…. Fake relationship?” Tiffany asks back.

Jessica kink an eyebrow

“With all due respect Miss. Hwang, I can’t say that everything would be normal after the announcement. There will be dozens of questions that will be thrown out by the paps, wanting to know what happened between Miss. Kwon and I”. Jessica smiles a little, as she knows exactly how the red head feels about all of this.

“Telling them that Miss. Kwon is my ex would never put an end to the rest of the rumors that they created, except for the fact that, it can explain the reason why we didn’t…. do so well when we see each other after all this time”

“And the sudden announcement will help? In what way? Do enlighten me, and please do understand that all of my question is highly…. Understandable, because this would somehow affect my life as well.”

Jessica nodded “Yes, I do understand that Miss. Hwang, as you can see, after the encounter with Miss. Kwon for a few times had caused misunderstanding regarding our personality and it is somehow affect our career. Mostly, mine. Everything that we have come up with… comes with a massive loophole. This is the only way that we can think of.”

Tiffany nodded lightly, starting to brain the explanation by the very own Jessica Jung.

“You don’t have to worry about your relationship with Miss Kwon, Miss Hwang, because, we need to put you under the spotlight as well”

“Wait, what?”

“Are… you okay?” the tan woman rubs the latter’s back in small circles after they got back from the meeting.

Tiffany sighs lightly. She turns to face her girlfriend. Looking into those big brown eyes. Tiffany gives the letter few pecks before diving her face onto the crook of Yuri’s shoulder.

“Baby?” Yuri tighten her arms around her significant others

“Sorry for being such a freak”

Yuri blinks rapidly, tilting her head aside, trying to get a closer look at her girlfriend’s face.

“A what?”

“I totally lost my cool, I know I wasn’t supposed to ask those nonsensical questions. I’m so sorry, I promise I won’t do that again, please…. Please don’t leave me”

The words struck Yuri’s heart hard.

“Why in the world would I leave you?”

Yuri cups Tiffany’s face in between her hand, her heart broke as she saw the streaming tears.

“Please… please don’t leave me. You are the best thing that I have, and I would want to keep it that way, I promise I’ll change for the better…mpphh”

Yuri dive in, ignoring the babbling as she makes contact with the letter’s trembling lips. She can feel that Tiffany was holding onto her as if she was going away.

After what it feel like half an hour, Yuri broke the contact, as both of them breathing heavily, trying to catch their breath.

“I’m not Kahi”

Tiffany eyes glisten with crystal clear as the tan woman hits her right sore spot.

“I don’t care what you just said just now during the meeting. I understand why you would ask such questions, because if I were you, I would have done the same thing. I’m not going to leave you. I’m the one who should have said I’m sorry because, if it wasn’t for my childish antic, things would have happen differently. I’m sorry because I’m making you feel bad about yourself, I’m sorry that I drag you into this… I promise, I’ll try not to hurt you anymore. Just, please don’t cry. I literally can’t breathe properly seeing your tears”

Biting her lower lips, Tiffany hold her streams, as she lunged forward locking the tan woman into a bone crushing hug.

“She agrees?” the petite rockstar asks as she plops herself beside the model who’s sitting on the couch.

The Korean model, encircle the letter’s waist, snuggling as she closes her eyes, welcoming the warmth that the rockstar provides.

“Babe, if she’s doesn’t agree, you do know that we can still go for our second best plan”

“Taengsic?”

Taeyeon chuckles as she heard the familiar couple name “yes, yes Taengsic”

“You and I know that Taengsic has loophole as well babe, that’s quite an enormous risk that we are taking”

Taeyeon nodded, kissing on top of Jessica’s forehead.

Jessica smiles at the sudden affection given by the “notorious” rockstar

“I know that, but I’m willing to take the risk for you. You know that right?”

Jessica chuckles, giving the petite girl a peck on the cheek “Thank you, and I know that very well”

“Good” Taeyeon smiles, as she tighten her arms around the letter’s shoulder as the Korean Model snuggles closer.

After a few comfortable minutes, Taeyeon broke the silence.

“Hey Jessie”

Jessica tilt her head, looking straight at Taeyeon’s brown eyes “Hmm?”

“If we still not married till 40, let go get hitch”

It has been a while. A little too long I might say. To be honest, I don’t really have specific explanation as to why the sudden MIA for the past months. A thousand apologies for that.

All I can say that, I m a bit broken hearted, So, yah.

I can’t really promise you guys anything anymore. Sigh, but I want to give a shout out to all of my subscribers, especially the new ones, although I don’t really update anything anymore, they still keep on coming. I really appreciate that. I was contemplating for so long to quit this, but… yah, things happen. I got drag in again, tho, not as much as before.

Sorry for the crappy update, I’m trying to get back on track. It’s short and this is what I can come up with in a few hours, so. Yah. And it is obviously rusty…and plain boring. So, sorry for that.
