“Annyeong haseyo, can I meet the chairman of the company?”

“Do you have an appointment?” the receptionist looked up from the screen.

“No, but can you tell your chairman daughter of Mrs Park Min Jin looking for him,”

“Alright, please wait for at moment.”

I sat down at the couch, beside the reception table. The Son Co. is such a huge enterprise, and with such success.

“Miss,” the receptionist called. “The chairman will meet you now.”

“Thank you,” I bowed. Now, I wonder if this company needs any help from ME.

“Come in,” the receptionist knocked the door and led me in. As expected, it was a big office, often seen in dramas.

“Annyeong haseyo,” I bowed 90 degrees.

“Ah, yes. Please take a seat.” The chairman indicated the couch in front of him.

“Neh, kamsamnida,” I sat down, politely.

“I am the chairman of The Son Co., Mr Son Dae Ho.” The chairman introduced himself. “So, you are Mrs Park Min Jin’s daughter?”

“Neh, nice to meet you, I am Yoora.” I nodded.

“So, how is your mother?”

“She passed away for a few years.”

He gasped, the frown formed on his wrinkled face. His face reflected sadness. “Ah, is that so…”

“Neh, my mother has been in debt to you, Chairman Son. So, today my purpose of visit is to return the favor, or help you in any way I can.”

“Your mother is the one who we are in debt with. She is such a nice lady and a hard working person too. She used to take so good care of the house and us. She treated my family like her own. It’s really sad to hear about her death.” The chairman sighed.

“Thank you for taking care of her,” I bowed again.

“No, no, she took care of us a lot. I really want to thank her. She used to talk about you a lot too.” He smiled kindly at me.

I smiled back.

“It has been hard on you since she died. Do you need any form of help?”

“No, thank you so much. I just want to help my mother fulfill her last wishes.”

“You mean returning the favor?”

“Ah, yes. My mother used to jot down all the debt she owed to people. However, she did not have enough time to return the favor. So, I am here on her behalf,” I explained.

“I see,” The chairman nodded.

“Chairman Son, is there anything I could do for you?”

“Hmmm…. Actually, there is something I did like you to help me.” He seemed thoughtful and smiled at me.
