Satisfied with the answer, I headed into the house. Today, no one was at home. Chairman Son was overseas and Mdm Kim went back to hometown for a visit. Just perfect for my plan…

Unpacking my bag, I took out my necessities to complete the work. The more I thought of it, the more doubts I had. Would Dongwoon like it? Would he think I am childish? But it didn’t matter at this point of time, since I had already started with the plan. Now, I would just have to wait for the right time.

“Close your eyes.” I instructed him. The night had fallen now. The house was in pitch dark.

“Are you peeking?”

“Nope,”

“Hmm…” I placed his hand over his eyes. “Much better.”

“Do you think I will cheat?”

“I know you do,”

“Alright, come with me,” I held his hands, leading him to the back yard.

“Count to 3 and open your eyes,”

“3,” He said. I couldn’t help but giggle, so typical of Dongwoon.

He let down his hands and opened his eyes. In front of him, the grass patch in his back yard was different already.

Warm orange Christmas light lit up like fireflies on the tree in the back yard. Below it, laid with a warm blanket, with cups of coffee on it. On the grass patch was filled with glow-in-the-night dust and different sizes of glow- in- the-night stars. Even the wooden swing was decorated with glow in the night stars. It was just us and the sky, and full of stars.

“Wow,” Dongwoon exclaimed, his face lit up. I smiled at his reaction.

“Wow,” He exclaimed again, now a huge smile hung on his face.

“So?” I asked, grinning. This was a success.

“This is what you prepared?”

“Yeah, you said that you love stars. But, the city is just too bright for us to see the stars. So, I figured this out.” I smiled.

“Impressive,” He nodded, approving

We gazed at my master piece. Warmth filled up the whole place. It was so…
