“Thank you, Yoora. So, I will see you tomorrow?” Mdm Kim shook my hand as she sent me out. Dongwoon stood just behind her, hands tucked into his pockets.

“Yes, thank you, see you tomorrow.” I smiled. Mdm Kim pushed Dongwoon out as he pouted.

“Send Yoora safely home, alright!” Mdm Kim sternly instructed Dongwoon. Dongwoon nodded as he unlocked his car.

I smiled and waved at Mdm Kim, entering the car. The journey back home was a silent one. I shouldn’t have agreed to let Dongwoon drive me home.

“How do you know my dad?” Dongwoon asked coldly at me.

“My mother used to work for your dad.” I answered.

“So, you begged my dad for a job too?”

“No!” I nearly screamed. What’s wrong with him? His attitude wasn’t very pleasant. No wonder Chairman Son had requested me to help.

*Flashback*

“Actually, there is something I did like you to help me.” He seemed thoughtful and smiled at me.

“Yes, please do speak your mind. I will try my best to help you.” I told Chairman Son.

“You are a very polite and kind lady. I believe your mother has taught you very well. Unlike my son…” He sighed. “So, I wish for you to teach him a lesson on life. Help him to overcome that barrier in his heart.”

*ends*

I really wonder what kind of person he is. That pair of kind eyes that respect Mdm Kim is so much different from those which first met mine.

“What? Not going to defend yourself?” Dongwoon turned to look at me. Staring straight at that pair of eyes, it seemed like an endless hole.

“You won’t trust me no matter what I said,” I answered honestly.

“Well, that’s true,” He shrugged, refocused on the road. “You are quiet fast catching on that.”

I rolled my eyes, and let out a small sigh. Am I really going to help someone like that?

“You can always reject this job,” Dongwoon said, as if he could read my mind.

“No,” I replied firmly. I had to fulfill my mother’s last wishes. “I will definitely take up this job.”

He smirked, again, seems to tell me I’m into trouble. But, if I don’t accept, all the efforts I given into repaying every single debt would be gone into waste.

Try me, Son Dong Woon.
