Finding Comfort in you

Disclaimer: This is fanfiction. It is just something my over active brain put together while I idly stayed in my room on a rainy day. So please do not mistake this for facts. All though I would also wish for such a relationship to be real I do not want for this bashing scenario to happen in real life. I do not like people bashing my fave group 2NE1 in any circumstance. And I know rumors are spreading that some other fandoms may or may not have upset Dara and just to put my negative thoughts to good use I just turned it into something I would actually like fluff. Dara didn’t know how to react she read some really bad comments online. Some fans of rookie groups were criticizing them for winning in MCountdown. She’s used to getting a lot of crap from people but they were a little extra offensive that day. She read a lot of bad comments questioning their win. And some even said that they didn’t deserve getting the award. It was their Music Bank Performance and she’s still elated from their recent win but after reading those comment she couldn’t help but be teary eyed and then there was the incident a few hours before the show started. They arrived in the KBS station where they will be doing their performance. There was the usual line up of fans from different groups. As they drove pass a group of fans from a different fandom Dara saw a few of them pull her group’s poster, ripped it apart then stomped on them. She was momentarily shocked but kept it to herself. When they got inside their dressing room she went to one corner as she waited for her turn to get her makeup fixed.

She just sat their quietly but for some reason she felt hurt and her eyes started to water and she found herself crying. Their activities are fun and she craved for them but they were also exhausting and what she have read online and what she witnessed outside the studio premises, just upset her a lot. She didn’t really want to make a big deal out of it but Minzy noticed her tearing up.

“Unni, what’s wrong,” their group’s maknae asked as she approached her.

“It’s nothing I’m just exhausted,” she replied weakly. Despite trying to fight tears from falling she couldn’t and her makeup was getting a little messed up. She felt burdened. Is it because of her? She always felt that she was a little short of talent but that’s why she always exerted more effort.

“You’re crying unnie what’s the matter,” Minzy asked again all worried because it was obvious that her unni wasn’t doing fine. This draw the attention of CL and Bom who just finished getting their makeup retouched.

“Unni, what’s going on,” CL said worriedly.

Bom sat on the other side of Dara and hugged her. “Dara-yah what’s going on?” the eldest member tried to comfort her. Dara calmed down for a bit and explained what she saw to the girls. She apologized to her group after, for making them worry.

The girls hugged Dara and told her to cheer up and not let those distractions get the best of her. She just nodded in agreement.

Dara got her make up fixed and she didn’t have anything super elaborate done to her hair that day. She finally stopped crying. She owed it to her group for comforting her in her time of weakness. She wanted to scold herself for being too emotional over something she really has no control over. And most of all she didn’
