NEWS: INTERVIEW WITH THE BIG THREE

Reporter: More information has been released about the group 1VS. Apparently,  this is a group produced by the Big Three in Kpop Industry, and this touch has manifested itself into something amazingly new.

Reporter: Why Epik Love?

YG President: Originally, it was just going to be LOVE. And basically, LOVE was a group embodying all traits of love: purity, but strength. Passion, and Sacrifice. But they themselves ultimately made the decision to change it in respect to their mentors, who embodied purity, strength, passion, and sacrifice. Their mentors were Epik High. Also, just as the name is different, their mentors have made them exceptional. They are not any normal type of girl group. They are their own style, just like 2NE1 paved their own way in the kpop industry. Epik Love will also be a new light in the sky.

Reporter: Why Chrome?

JYP President: The recent boy bands we’ve seen are missing that vibe; that charismatic vibe that gives you the shivers. Everything about new boy groups has been too pop, too soft rock. There’s not enough of the excellent, smooth hip hop genre out here. And recent boy bands have been too much about group dynamics lately, which is nice, but Chrome is more about learning to intertwine the five incredible solo individuals to make the best group ever. And we think the name fits: it’s sleek without being something too “teenager-ish”. It’s more of an elegant, rebel-style than a pop group.

Reporter: What kind of group is 1vs?

SM President: That’s hard to say. This group is unlike any other. Because SM, YG, and JYP, are all different from one another. That’s why we are top rivals, because we all have efficient, but varying methods. Therefore, all group members will not only have their individual traits and skills, but also carry the company’s logos. Universe will be the embodiment of the greatest methods in kpop history. It will be a diverse movement, and bring the dazzling talent of the greatest artists in the world.

Reporter: It’s a Co-Ed Group. How are the dorms going to look like?

JYP President: Apart. We don’t want to have to deal with that sensitive issue.

YG President: Agreed. Their dorms will be close to each other, but not physically connected in any way.

SM President: That’d be a scandal all by itself if we chose to put the dorms together. A scandal before they even debuted!

Reporter: What kind of music are you hoping for?

YG President: True music. Honest music. Something that is very real for them. This industry has become too much of a façade lately, and whatever music they perform, I want it to be touching, not just for the audience, but also for them. That’s why we trained them in different ways. Some are purely dance and song, some are writers, composers, actors, and actresses.

JYP President: I want it to be talent without it being obnoxious. I want people to just stand in awe of their amazing skills, and I want the group members to feel that energy, but I also want the group members to always feel like they have to give their all.

Reporter: Everyone is anticipating this! Any clues on who they are?

SM President: Wait for March 24^th.
