            “President, you wanted to see me?”, Chan Hee asked, stepping into the office.

            “Yes, I did. Have a seat.”  

            Chan Hee nervously took a seat, biting her lower lip like crazy. Trainees were called into the President’s room for two reasons- the Company was either going to promote your or to drop you. Chan Hee had seen her brother, Chan Yeol, come out of this office, grinning and whooping like he was absolutely and totally insane. He’d been put into Exo. Chan Yeol… She touched the tattoo on her left wrist… CH… her brother had a CY on his left wrist… They’d promised to debut the same year… and now that Chan Yeol was confirmed to debut in a few years, it was now or never…

Please, she prayed, Please let me be in a group. If I’m not in a group, I’m going to be replaced by someone more beautiful and more talented and everyone is going to appreciate her more. Even my brother might… and Lu Han…

            “Chan Hee, calm yourself. There’s no need to be so worried.”

            “Oh yeah?”, Chan Hee said sarcastically, before she could stop herself.

            There was a moment of silence, where Chan Hee felt like she should slap herself in the face.

            But the president replied, “Yes, because we’ve decided to confirm your position in the kpop world.”

            Chan Hee nervously waited… Is he saying what I think he’s saying?

            “I want you as the Main Rapper, Background Vocal, Background Dancer, and Lead Choreographer for Universe. Oh, right, and I want you as the Leader.”

            “Are you s-serious, I mean, that, you-y-“, Chan Hee stuck out her tongue, tongue-twisted, and at a loss for words.

            The President burst into laughter. “Chan Hee, I know you don’t feel like your rapping is your best asset, but we do. We need that kind of strength in 1VS. And we all know how fantastic your dance is, so I want you to help me choreograph. For choreo, you’ll be working with another member in your group, Miss A, and… Exo.”
            And I knew. The President was honoring my brother and me. He was going to let two maknae groups pair up together… to allow me to spend time with my brother and my friends.

            “Thank you. I will do my best. I will.”, Chan Hee said fiercely.

            “Yes, I know you will. That’s why I made you the Leader.”, the President said.  

            As Chan Hee left the office, she felt a feeling of euphoria overcome her. In two years, they’d done it. They’d all become members of the most promising kpop groups in the world. She pulled out her phone and pressed “Calling… Chan Yeol.”
