[General POV]

The following week had been rather uneventful, aside from the fact that Jessica was still oblivious to the fact of a certain two people trying to gain her affections.

It was early morning Saturday and Jessica was lying on her bed while reading a book with an immense amount of concentration in an attempt to ignore the loud ruckus from outside the comfort of her room.

“Agh! Yoona! I DIDN’T STEAL IT! I SWEAR!!!” The tall, tan girl’s voice could be heard shouting throughout the dorm while the heavy thumping of feet echoed throughout the dorm.

“LIAR! I SAW YOU!” Yoona’s voice now boomed.

“I DIDN’T—AH!” Sooyoung’s voice was cut short by a loud thud on the hard floors.

No more words were exchanged, instead only louder bangs and grunts from the hallway, just outside the Student Council President’s door.

“WILL YOU GUYS KNOCK IT OFF?!?” Taeyeon barged out of her room, harshly throwing a pillow at the two Shikshin’s wrestling on the floor.

“Shh Relax Tae, let’s just go back to sleep.” Sunny now came behind while rubbing her eyes sleepily.

“How can I, when these two are being so noisy?”

Taeyeon shot a cold glare at the two girls on the floor, who were now frozen as they both just stared blankly at the short leader.

She felt a pair of arms wrap around her waist as Sunny attempted to calm the agitated girl.

“Just leave them be... and come back to bed with me.” Sunny whined cutely into the girl’s ear.

Taeyeon’s face became red as the blood rushed to her face and just muttered unintelligible words before returning back inside.

The two girl’s continued their ‘fight’ as Yoona tugged at Sooyoung’s collar, shaking the girl back and forth.

Sooyoung was getting dizzy, trying to fight the younger girl’s grip, she finally succeeded, bolting away towards her and Jessica’s room and bursting through the door.

“SICA! SAVE ME!!” Sooyoung jumped behind the blonde girl’s bed and hid whimpering.

Jessica showed no signs of moving from her spot and continued to stare her book.

Yoona burst through the door, panting and accusingly pointed at Sooyoung.

“YOU!”

Sooyoung gulped and tugged at Jessica’s shirt like a child trying to get their mother’s attention.

“P-please help Sica... She’s c-crazy!!” she whined pathetically, hoping to get some back up from the cold girl, but got nothing but a cold shoulder.

“You’ll pay!” Yoona came closer to the girl. Her face spelt vengeance for whatever crime Sooyoung seemed to commit.

“It’s all a misunderstanding Yoong, I didn’t know—“ Sooyoung tried to explain herself but was cut short when Yoona pulled her up by the collar.

Her nickname wasn’t ‘Him Yoona’ for nothing.

“Didn’t know? I made that pie for Yul! I Even put a note on it!” Yoona glared at the older girl and reached her hand towards her.

Sooyoung knew that there was no way out of this and just closed her eyes, bracing herself for whatever was coming but was surprised when nothing came.

She peaked one eye open when she saw a hand grasping Yoona’s wrist that was just inches from her neck.

She traced the arm to see none other than Jessica giving the iciest glare she’s given in a long time.

“U-unnie?” Yoona looked rather shocked as chills went through her body at the cold aura that was emitting from the girl.

“Must you...” she began and shut her book, slamming it harshly on the bedside table. “DO THIS RIGHT HERE WHEN I’M SLEEPING!?!?” she screamed and both Yoona and Sooyoung jumped away.

“S-sorry Unnie.” Yoona apologized quickly before fleeing the room and slamming the door shut behind her, leaving Sooyoung alone with the

“Wait, sleeping?” Sooyoung thought for a moment and realized that Jessica was unresponsive because she dozed off.

Noticing her terrible mistake, she was about to leave but was stopped by intimidating words.

“Where do you think you’re going?”

She turned to see Jessica standing up and striding towards her with the frightening aura still around her.

“I-I’m just leaving.” Sooyoung replied meekly, scared of what the older girl was going to do.

“I don’t think so.” Jessica came closer, slamming her hand on the door to prevent her from leaving.

Sooyoung shrunk away, though she was taller, the blonde made her feel incredibly tiny, especially in her ‘HellSica’ mode.

“You disturbed my sleep... FOR THE LAST TIME.” Jessica cracked her knuckles as she neared the terrified girl.

“W-wait! I’m still injured!” Sooyoung tried to convince the girl from her advances but it showed little effect as Jessica just drew closer causing her to fall back on her .

“Any last words?” the blonde asked, bending down and grabbing Sooyoung’s collar.

Sooyoung closed her eyes and gave a couple prayers before muttering nonsense.

“Mom, Dad, thanks for giving birth to me...I love you lots. Sister, you tease me a lot, but I’ll still miss your dork My friends, thanks for being so close to me, I’ll miss you guys a lot...”

Jessica rolled her eyes at Sooyoung’s overdramatic acting. Somehow this sounded like it was turning into an farewell speech.

“Are you done yet?” she asked impatiently, still holding the poor girl’s collar.

“Just about... thanks to my teachers for teaching me so many useful things, your wisdom is not wasted.”

Jessica scoffed.

‘Some of it was pretty wasted...’ she smirked at her own, playful tease. However, her smirk was wiped clean at the hysterical girl’s next words.

“And to my first love who stole my heart at first glance... Though we had our fights, we had our moments too. I’ll miss you.” Sooyoung was now just babbling on sighed out her last words before opening

“Okay, I’m done.” She concluded, closing her eyes tightly.

She heard a low grunt.

When she felt the force on her collar disappear, she felt backwards and opened her eyes to see Jessica return to her bed and roughly throw the sheets over her entire body.

“Sica?” Sooyoung rubbed her aching back and stared at the lump on the bed.

She scratched her head a little confused at the girl’s actions.

‘Why did she stop? Is she not mad anymore?’ she thought but looked at the unresponsive girl.

‘She still looks pretty mad... maybe she’s just tired.’

Not wanting to awake the “Sleeping Beast”, Sooyoung got up and snuck out of the room as silently as she could.

She sighed in relief and made her way towards the lounge area and was met with curious eyes of the dancing captain.

“You’re alive?! I heard from Yoona what happened... I thought you were a goner.” Hyoyeon laughed.

“I don’t know... she asked if I had any last words and after I said them, she just let go of me and went back to sleep...” Sooyoung explained and Hyoyeon remained stunned.

“Wow... you must leave quite the impression on her because when Yuri was her room mate, Yuri awoke HellSica and ended up passing out—“

“YAH! Don’t talk about that...” Yuri came in and covered Hyoyeon’s mouth.

Sooyoung chuckled as the two began to bicker at one another.

“What are you girl’s doing?” they heard a tired President’s voice enter with Sunny clung onto her back.

Everyone just shrugged lazily.

“I’m going downtown to pick up some orders for the school. Does anyone want to come?” Taeyeon asked the trio.

“Can’t, I was going to practice my choreography and then meet Seohyunnie later.” Hyoyeon grinned at the mention of her girlfriend.

“I just have an appointment later.” Yuri jumped in, leaning on the wall.

‘I wanted to hang out with Jessica today... but I guess that won’t happen now.’ Sooyoung mentally pouted.

“I’ll go Taengoo!” Sunny jumped in excitedly.

Taeyeon just shook her head at the girl. “You have a class this afternoon. You shouldn’t miss it.”

“Awh...” Sunny whined sadly.

“I’ll go with you Tae.” Sooyoung volunteered, seeing as she now had no more plans for the day.

Taeyeon smiled. “Great! I’ll go start up my car.”

Sunny didn’t appear too happy but seeing as it was just Sooyoung, she thought it was okay.

“Be careful Tae... I know you have a bad back.” Sunny warned, patting the older girl’s back softly.

“Yah, I’m not that old! I’m capable of carrying a few boxes.” Taeyeon pouted as she left to go start her car.

Sunny turned to Sooyoung and leaned in. “Make sure she doesn’t carry too much.” She whispered into the taller girl’s ear and the latter nodded.

“Sure thing!” she smiled.

“Thanks~” Sunny grinned widely before hopping back to her room.

“Well I’m going to head out too. See ya later.” Hyoyeon got up and left hastily out the door.

“What kind of appointment do you have Yuri?” Sooyoung asked curiously, seeing as they were the only ones left in the room.

Yuri moved away from the wall. “Just the dentist... I have a cavity and Yoong won’t stop bugging me to get it filled.” She sighed.

Sooyoung chuckled. “You’re really whipped huh?” she teased.

Yuri put her hands on her hips angrily. “Me? Whipped? Please... I got that doe-eyed girl wrapped around my finger...”

“What did you say?” they both heard a voice come from behind them.

“Y-Yoong! I was j-just telling Soo about... my... erm... other friend!” Yuri quickly tried to cover up but failed miserably.

“Oh really? And does this other friend have doe-eyes too?” she glared at the black-hair girl.

Yuri knew she was caught. “I-I was just kidding Yoon~”

Yoona stomped up to the girl and grabbed her ear, yanking it towards their room.

“Oh yeah? I’ll show you who’s wrapped around their finger.” She

Yuri was groaning painfully. “Y-Yoong, I’m s-sorry!”

That was all Sooyoung heard before the door of their room slammed shut and only painful screams could be heard.

Sooyoung shuddered, knowing perfectly of what that younger girl was capable of.

“Ready to go?” Taeyeon came back, holding a sheet of paper and her car keys.

Sooyoung nodded. “Let’s go!”

She looked back at Yoona and Yuri’s room.

‘I wonder if they’ll be okay...’

She shrugged and left the dorm with Taeyeon.

“So where are we headed?” Sooyoung asked as Taeyeon drove down the streets into town.

“We need to go to the bank first to print out some budget forms and withdraw some funds, and then we head to the warehouse to pick up our orders.” The short girl explained.

Sooyoung raised her brow. “You even deal with the school’s finance?”

Taeyeon nodded. “Well yes and no. I mainly handle any student funding for events and equipment and such. The school chairman handles everything else.”

Sooyoung’s mouth gaped in amazement. “Wow... it must be pretty hard being the President.”

Taeyeon shrugged. “It’s not that bad. You get used to it.”

The latter nodded. “How long have you been President?” she asked curiously for the sake of conversation.

“Since my second year of entering.”

“That early?”

Taeyeon nodded. “The previous President saw something in me and gave their position after they graduated.”

“Can they do that?”

“Well not really, but no one complained about it so... here we are.”

Sooyoung chuckled. “Wow, you were a natural born leader I guess.”

Taeyeon shook her head modestly. “I don’t think so... everyone around me seems to say that but...” she paused, sighing. “I don’t really see myself as a leader at all. I find it hard to handle all the pressure. Not just of the job itself, but the image of being that strong leader everyone makes me.”

She didn’t know why she admitting all of this, but somehow it felt a lot better to get off her chest.

Sooyoung just listened patiently, waiting for her to continue.

“I wanted to quit a few times... and I almost did but...” she stopped; her gaze wandered a little as if she was remembering something.

“But...” Sooyoung urged her to continue.

Taeyeon shook her head and refocused on the road. “But Sunny stopped me. We had been friends since childhood and she’s always encouraged me to carry on and given me the strength to do so. A little off topic, but without her... I wouldn’t be where I am today.” She grinned softly, thinking of her close friend.

Sooyoung smiled at the older girl’s honesty and revelation. In a way, she envied the girl for having such a close companion through her years. Sooyoung had always been a bit of a loner growing up. It wasn’t really until she began school this year that she began to make friends, which, she was grateful for.

They had pulled into the bank’s parking lot as Ta

“Just wait here, I’ll be right back.” she instructed as she left hastily.

Sooyoung just sat patiently, staring out the window, rhythmically tapping the armrest to pass the time.

Her phone suddenly went off and she looked at it curiously before answering.

“Hello?”

“Sooyoung?” the voice on the other line answered.

“Uh yes... who is this?” Sooyoung asked confused

“It’s me, Goo Hara!” they replied.

“Oh! Hara-shi! How are you?” Sooyoung responded, a little surprised by her sudden call.

“I’m fine... I just wanted to know if you were free today?” she asked with a hopeful tone.

Sooyoung glanced through the bank window to see Taeyeon speaking with the teller.

“Well I’m busy right now, but I’m not really doing anything later.”

“Oh great! I was wondering if you wanted to hang out later! You know, catch up!” Hara sounded extremely excited.

Sooyoung wasn’t sure how to respond. In honesty, she wasn’t really in the mood, but not wanting to disappoint the girl she agreed. “Sure, why not?”

Hara squealed in excitement. “Okay! I’ll text you later with the details. See you later Sooyoungie~!”

“Uh... bye.” Sooyoung hung up and was a little baffled by the call.

She was still pretty awkward around Hara and though the girl claimed they went to the same middle-school, Sooyoung couldn’t remember her at all. Then again, her younger years were pretty much a blur she didn’t want to remember.

“Sorry I took so long.” Taeyeon came back with an envelope and some papers in hand.

Sooyoung shook her head. “It wasn’t long at all.”

“Okay, let’s go pick up the order.” Taeyeon started up the car as they made their way towards their next destination.

-----Meanwhile----

[Jessica’s POV]

I still lay in my bed, tucked in my sheets as that babbling idiot’s words still stuck in my head.

‘And to my first love who stole my heart at first glance... Though we had our fights, we had our moments too. I’ll miss you.’

First love? That tall, muttering bimbo had a first love? I wonder who it was...

I ruffled my hair in frustration.

Ergh, why do I care? It doesn’t affect me, why can’t I stop thinking about it.

I tore off my blankets from my face and stared blankly at the ceiling.

I wonder if it was Hara... they looked rather close... plus, that nickname...

‘Sooyoungie~’

Her stupid, annoying voice echoed in my head.

“Argh!!” I groaned and covered my face again.

Jessica Jung, get a hold of yourself... don’t let something so trivial bother you. Especially something involving that Pabo Shikshin.

I sighed and closed my eyes in an attempt to sleep away my thoughts.
