When Wooyoung finally got home, he saw two bags of items left on the table in the living room. A sudden thought came to his mind as he quickly took the two bags and rummaged through the contents. He saw that there were flu tablets and cough syrup. In the other bag, there were bananas, apples and oranges, some of his favorite fruits. Another item was left on the table, and it was a note. It read:

Youngie, please take care of yourself. Eat these and rest well.

Wooyoung felt a sudden wave of realization crash upon him, and he quickly ran out of the house once again to search for Taeyeon.

Wooyoung ran and ran, passing the bridge that Taeyeon stood at a while ago. He knew where Taeyeon was, and he was not going to stop running until he reaches his destination, no matter what it takes.

Taeyeon walked slowly towards Poseidon University’s dormitory and her deep thoughts were interrupted by someone calling her name. Startled, she looked up to see Leeteuk getting up from the stairs of the entrance. Leeteuk quickly walked towards her with a wide smile.

“The competition commission called and said that if we directly bring the submission piece to them by tomorrow morning, it will still be accepted. So, do you still want to do it?”  

Taeyeon looked at Leeteuk with wide eyes. She couldn’t believe that he actually waited for her like this. “Yes, I’ll do it.”

Leeteuk gave a smile in response and the two went back into their work space to continue what was left of Taeyeon’s submission piece.

“It’s finally done!” Taeyeon exclaimed, as she put her pencil down and looked at her final submission piece.

“You did a very good job!” Leeteuk complimented her, and passed Taeyeon a canned drink.

“Thank you!” Taeyeon opened the drink and took a sip.

“Hey, today’s your birthday, isn’t it?”

“Ah. Yes, it is.”

“Well, congratulations on your birthday! Cheers!” Leeteuk brought his canned drink forward, initiating the toast.

“Thank you very much! Cheers!” Taeyeon smiled.

“By the way, how did your problem turn out? Did you find your solution?” Leeteuk asked, as the two of them sat comfortably in the workspace.
