Flash forward to now. In a way my life, especially my school life, grew to be happy. I wasn't shunned or hated anymore. There were those very few who still bugged me. But my new friends kept them off my back.

He was right, all I had to do was be myself. It took me awhile to actually follow through with that advice, but when I finally became comfortable enough, all those haters just backed off and finally accepted me. In fact some of my closest friends were some of those bullies. Apparently, being too quiet was a sign that meant "I'm better than you, so don't talk to me."

I never forgot Youngmin. Who would have thought a cup of coffee and a cute/annoying guy could do so much in such a short time. He never called, not that I expected too much. I still visited that cafe from then on. My friend Minhee and I even got part time jobs there. That's where we were when we heard a song on the radio.

I looked up from the table I was cleaning, "Minhee-yah, do you know this song? It's really good." She was on break, studying nearby on the bar/counter. "I think it's by this new boy group."

"Oh, a new group? That explains it. But do you know who?" I finished cleaning the table and walked over to her. Minhee thought for a minute before answering "Ummh, Boyfriend? I've been busy studying so I haven't been keeping up with all the latest Kpop news, but I think this is their debut song from about five months ago."

Boyfriend? What kind of name is that? But it has a nice ring to it. "Our shift is almost over, why don't we stop and get some of their CDs? If they're as good as this song, It might be worth it." Minhee put her pencil down, "I think I'll have some time to go with you. But Jae-yah, I have to go to tutoring later."

Minhee, like most of the others in our school, took extra English classes. I actually was an English tutor myself on the side, but I never understood why she just never asked me for help. "You know my offer still stands, I'm willing to help you out."

"Haha, thanks but no thanks, I still feel bad about before." Remember how I said that some of my best friends were once my enemies? Minhee was the worst of them. But forgive and forget, that's what I always say. "Okay... Oh, Our shift is over, let's tell the manager before we leave." So the two of us left to go out to buy a few Boyfriend CDs.

But for some reason, the shop was filled with a bunch of girls.... And it seemed like they were waiting for someone.... I suddenly heard a scream ,

"IT"S THEM!!! THE OPPAS ARE HERE!!!"

Is there a fan signing or something? Whatever, I just needed to get those CDs and go. I found and paid for them, but a girl tapped me on the shoulder and said "Aren't you going to wait for them to sign it?"

Minhee and I looked at each other. "Sorry Jae-yah, I have to go now. I can't believe how lucky you are though. I mean you just found out about Boyfriend and now you get to meet them?! Tell me about it tomorrow!" She took off running, and I stood there waiting in line with the girl who told me about the fansigning.

"Wow, you just found out about them today? That's pretty cool, and by the looks of all those CDs in your bag, it seems you're already a Best Friend. Oh, silly me I forgot to introduce myself, I'm Cho Hee." She seemed friendly enough, I smiled back "Nice to meet you, I'm Jae. And Best Friend?" "Yeah, it's Boyfriend's fanclub name, welcome to the fandom Jae-sshi!" We waited, talked and exchanged numbers before I was finally next to meet the members of my new favorite band.

Jeongmin-gun was really sweet, and in a strange way reminded me of a sheep. Minwoo-gun was a little ball of aegyo. The two older members Donghyun-gun and Hyunseong-gun were princely gentlemen kind of guys. Kwangmin-gun surprised me the most, he looked so familiar that it alomst drove me crazy because I couldn't figure out who, but his hyperactive personality kept me relaxed. Then I moved on to the last member, Youngmin. But as I looked up to talk to him,I realized, he was MY Jo Youngmin. I couldn't believe I found him again....
