*A few Months Later*

Yuri was woken from her slumber by the sound of vomiting.

Yuri stirred right away and headed her way to the source of the commotion. She was then welcomed by the sight of Jessica vomiting her insides.

“Hey are you okay?” Yuri rushed to her side and pulled her hair back to help her. “

I don’t feel so good.” Jessica answered weakly. “Would you want me to bring you to the doctor?” Yuri said as she guided Jessica back to the bed.

"I don’t think that is necessary. Maybe it’s because I haven’t been eating on time lately.”

“You sure?” Yuri asked once more.

“Yeah I am.” ‘What if she is pregnant?’ An eerie thought crossed her mind.

“Hey baby? Do you mind if I ask you something?”

“Sure what is it?” Jessica asked as she was holding her gag.

“When was the last time you had your period?” Yuri asked.

Jessica suddenly bit her lips hesitantly and a concerned look was plastered on her face.

"I have something to tell you.” Jessica announced.

“What is it?”

“I’m pregnant.” Yuri’s heart fell to her stomach.

“How long have you knew?” Yuri asked and her face turned dark.

"A week now.”

“What are you planning on doing?”

“I’m going to keep it.”

“Are you sure?” Yuri asked.

“Yes.” Jessica answered confidently.

“Even if it was his?”

“This baby is mine as much as it is his. It’s not the baby’s fault.” Jessica held her tummy.

“And it wasn’t your fault too.” Yuri heaved a sigh and stood up.

“Where are you going? Are you leaving me?” Jessica asked hurt.

“Hey of course not. I love you. I am not going anywhere.” Yuri held on the latter’s face and kissed her temple.

“This is our baby. I am not going anywhere.” Yuri reassured her.

“Now let’s go get ready.” Yuri said as she pulled Jessica up.

“Where are we going?”

“To check up on the baby.” Yuri said with a sweet smile.

“Let’s go!” Jessica said excited.

At the hospital:

“The baby looks healthy so far. You are approximately 12 weeks pregnant. Congratulations to the both of you.” The doctor informed the two future parents.

“Thank you doctor. When would we know the gender of the child?” Yuri asked excitedly.

“You can come by around 5 more weeks and we will be able to determine the gender.”

“Will keep that in mind. Thank you doctor.”

“I can’t believe we are going to be parents now.” Jessica said excitedly.

“Me too” Yuri replied just as excited.
