Minho was the one driving this time, I was in the passenger seat. Taemin and Onew were in the back, while Jonghyun and Key were already sleeping in the trunk.

“What happened back there?” Onew finally asked after two hours of driving silence, of course Onew would be the one to break the awkwardness. 

I took in a deep breathe and spit it out.

“Lily got bit.” I said, looking out the window just thinking about her. I never knew her, but at the very end I cared for her, just like what a big protective sister would do. I wonder if the boys feel the same way...but not the point. 

“Walkers got up there?” Taemin asked. I nodded.

“I don’t know how, and I didn’t even “fix” the problem.” I said with having a large tone of regret. 

“Who knows why they tried to kill us...” Taemin mumbled. I looked at him.

“I guess we’ll never know...” I said with my voice trailing off. Then a thought came up in my head. Lily turning right after I locked the doors, having Roger, Darel, and Trey as her first snack. I dismissed the thought immediately. 

“We need a map.” Minho admitted in his serious tone. I looked at him and nodded.

“We get it in the daytime, right now we just keep driving until we find a city, we need to start stocking up on supplies.” I said. 

“So what are we going to do now?” Taemin asked rubbing his eyes showing he’s tired and most likely sleepy. Even though we slept last night fully, through all the crap that happened today it seems like three freakin days without sleep. 

“Sleep. ALL of you sleep.” I said looking specifically at Minho. He took a small glance at me like he wasn’t paying attention, looked back, then looked at me again with a wide eyed look like WHAT!

I chuckled.

“You heard me.” I said in a funny tone that I haven’t used with him yet. I looked back and saw Taemin and Onew attempting to sleep. At least they don’t argue -_-

“Give me the wheel.” I said with a smile on my face.

“pshh, no. You need more rest than me. You sleep.” He said looking at me, then back at the road. 

“Do you see me yawning?” I asked.

“Do you see me complaining?” He back. I sighed.

“Fine. But don’t expect me to sleep.” I said. Minho chuckled.

“Well then. This will be a LONG conversation.” He admitted. I playfully punched him on the arm and smiled.
