I'm Still Here ! Beside YouWhile Taeyeon still facing the beautiful scene of the street’s light. The brunette doesn’t aware that the girl still sitting under the tree has some weird movement. Finally, Taeyeon turned back because she heard someone whispering in pain.
“ Sooyeon ! “ Taeyeon yelled
Her eyes went wide by the image of Jessica hugging her chest tightly sometimes the blonde hitting it. The brunette rushed to the blonde with a total shock and most worry expression. The blonde face turned pale as she shouted in pain while hitting her chest.
“ Sooyeon ! Are you okay…..don’t scare me ! “ Taeyeon lifted the blonde up as she carrying Jessica to their car.
“ Please be okay….please don’t close your eyes please….please ! “ Tears fell down from her eyes to her cheek
“ I - it….hu - hurt ! “ Jessica whispered
“ Look at me Jung Sooyeon ! Look at me….don’t close your eyes ! “ Taeyeon closed the door and quickly drove off.
Jessica eyes slowly closing as the pain never left her alone for any second. Keeping holding on her chest sometimes hitting it with her fits.
“ Don’t hit yourself…..please look at me. I’m Taeyeon….your Taengoo here. Please answer me ! Sooyeon ! “
One hand holding the wheel and another hand holding Jessica hand to stopping the blonde from hitting herself. Taeyeon wants to break down in any second pass but tried to her best to do not.
“ I’m here for you. Don’t be scared….please ! I’m a coward….forgive me Sooyeon - ah ! “ tears keeping run down to the brunette cheek.
“ Tae - Taeyeon ! “ Jessica whispered but not too clear
“ Right….I’m here….holding on me. Call me...keep doing that ! Sorry. “ Taeyeon increasing her speed as she doesn’t care about if she gets caught or whatever.
“ T - Tae - Taengoo. “ the last words came out from the blonde’s mouth as her eyes closed
“ Nooo….please look at me. Don’t leave me alone. I know that I left you but….I won’t let that happen again. Jung Sooyeon listen to me…..Nooooo ! “ Taeyeon mind went insane as Jessica’s breath becomes weak little by little.
After 10 minutes of racing car, they finally reached the underground parking lot of Seoul hospital. Using all of her strength, Taeyeon managed to carry Jessica to Eric office.
“ Eric...Eric help ! “ Taeyeon shouted as she reached the younger boy’s door
The door quickly open
“ What happened ? “ Eric helped Taeyeon carry Jessica to the emergency room as some nurse rushed in.
“ Please wait outside ! “ One of the nurses said as she closed the door left the crying Taeyeon outside.
After the door closed….her strength left as Taeyeon knees down. She has no power to stand and she started to break down. Tears keeping flowing down from her eyes as the only thing she knows that Jessica is in dangerous.
The sound of people rushing to her can be heard. Taeyeon lifted her head up and wait to get scold. But instead of receiving those harsh words…. She received a warm and comfort hug from none other than Krystal.
“ Sooyeon ! “ Taeyeon whispered
When Taeyeon fully looking up….. Darren sent her a deadly glare before he rushes inside the emergency room.
“ Don’t mind him. “ Krystal helped Taeyeon stand up
“ But Sooyeon….I - I….made her be like that ! “ Taeyeon broke down into Krystal's arms
“ No..it’s not your fault unnie ! Jessi unnie will be fine. Please be strong for her like you used to during 2 years before ! “ Krystal patting Taeyeon’s as she told the older girl everything will be fine.
“ Is my choice was wrong….is choosing to be by her side is a wrong choice. Why is everything so hard on us ? “ Taeyeon doubting
“ NO ! It is not a wrong move…..she loves you and you too. There is no wrong choice in this world...it just depends on how you deal with your own choice ! “ Krystal said calm but herself also doubting.
“ I’m starting to doubt myself…...did I really make a wrong choice ? “ Taeyeon crying over and over again.
Inside the emergency room :
“ How is her now, Eric ? “ Darren rushed to where Jessica at
“ She is fine now….but….” Eric turns to look at his best friend
“ What...but ? “ Darren asked
“ We don’t have a lot of time to waste anymore. “ Eric said as the sadness in his eyes could be seen.
“ What do you mean ? “ Darren's eyes dashed to the pale girl lying on the bed
“ We predicted that we will have at least 1 years to find that object….but nothing going in the way we want it to. “ Eric said also looking at Jessica
“ You mean…..”
“ Yeah ! 1 month ….that’s all we have ! How much long we wait….the dangerous will be higher ! “ Eric shook his head.
“ Sorry….I failed to protect you noona ! “ Darren broke down.
“ Darren ! “ Eric hold on his best friend shoulder to support him
“ Let’s fixing thing Darren ! We don’t have much time left…..let’s let them be happy even with a short amount of time ! “ Eric said
“ You really think that it can help us ? “ Darren asked
“ As long as we left beautiful memories….there will be no regret at the end when we failed ! “ Eric said with all of his sincerity
“ I will listen to you this time then ! “ Darren stood up
“ Let’s tell them. Let’s face that reality ! “ Eric and Darren walk out from the emergency room.
They stopped in their track when they heard the 2 people talking to each other. They had listened to all the conversation between the 2 and the furious inside Darren's eyes seems to be explored in any second.
“ Darren ! “ Eric pulled and hold Darren back before Darren could walk out
“ Let’s me go ! “ Darren pushed Eric back and rushed to where Taeyeon at
“ How dare you do that ! “ Darren grabbing Taeyeon collar
“ Darren ! “ Eric and Krystal shouted as they tried to break the grip but failed
“ If you doubt….why would you find her ? “ Darren shouted
“ Why would you appear in the first place…..why don’t you just get out of her life in the first place ! “ both Darren and Taeyeon started to sobbing hard
“ I - I…..” no words could get out from the older girl mouth even she tried to say
“ And now you scare…..you want to leave her again like you used to 4 years ago ? You and your friend….. All of you ruined her life before now you guys want to ruin her life again ! “ Darren released all of his anger toward the weak girl in front of him
“ Stop Darren ! You are too much and you are not Jessi to decide for her own life ! “ Krystal yelled as slapped Darren right in his face
“ SO WHAT IF I TELL YOU THAT SOOYEON NOONA CAN ONLY LIVE IN 1 MONTH WHAT CAN YOU DO ? JUNG SOOJUNG ! “ Darren fell on the ground
Everyone the yelling and shouting went dead as everyone looked at Darren then to Eric.
“ I can’t bear to see her like that ! How many time she need to cry….how many time those nightmares would haunt her every single night ?.....” Darren paused
“ Now you understand the position I’m in huh ! 1 is let she getting hurt by these people….2 saves her last happiness before everything gone ! “ facing the ground as he let his tear run down
“ Get out of here ! You don’t deserve to be with her and yes...like you said your choice is wrong when you come back to her ! You doubted her and even yourself….and I don’t let you do that to her again….” Before Darren could say anything more Taeyeon cut him off
“ She will be fine in your care right ? “ the person seemed to be quiet now spoke
“ What ? “ Darren looked at Taeyeon
“ I asked she will be fine in your care and won’t be hurt again right ? “ Taeyeon hold her tears as her whole body shaking hard.
“ Yes ! “ Darren and other 2 people very confusing
“ I will let her go then !....” Taeyeon breath as she told herself
“ It’s no because I doubting her….it’s because I love her so much and I don’t want her to be hurt again by me. If you said you can take care of her and she will be fine…..do it ! I let her go for her to feel her happiness and never get hurt by me ! “ Taeyeon turned her back facing the 3
“ Y - You give up on her ? “ Krystal said in disbelief
“ I didn’t give up on her…..never ! But I let her go without holding back. I can’t take care of her like I said before….and the thing happened today had proved it ! She is everything to me….and I will do anything to save her. Even it hurt me but that okay…..I used to it during 2 years. “ Taeyeon can’t hold anymore as she let her tears flow down.
“ I will get out all the way in her life and never appear in front of her again ! Soojung - ah….even Sooyeon is not here to hear what I said now. But Soojung, I don’t wish that you will understand me….just you know…..later on I will not beside her anymore but I will pray for her happiness every day. Even though….I never exist in her memories...but she is all and will always stay in my heart no matter what ! “
Taeyeon took one step toward...one step far away from the dream that she finding for almost 3 years.
“ I love her and always be...no one could replace her in my heart because it all filled with the girl name Jung Sooyeon. But unfortunately….this love will only remind in my heart... the only mine ! “ Taeyeon whispered the last part.
She knew that if she steps any further….she will lose her dream but she did. She did it for the girl she loved with all her heart and soul.
In front of the emergency room.
“ She left ! She really left ! “ Krystal said while looking at the door of emergency room
“ Know you happy huh ? “ Krystal said with a mock tone
“ You will payback for what you have done….and me too….payback for Jessi because I didn’t hold Taeyeon unnie back. “ Krystal walk inside the emergency room with a sad smile
“ Unnie….she left because of my fault….sorry ! I tried but failed. Forgive this useless sister ! “ Krystal broke down beside her sister bed
“ Everything will be alright ! Krystal ! “ Eric pat Krystal back to calm down the crying girl
“ Now I’m also lost in this situation...called life ! I thought I can able to help them….but I failed. Now I know why a smart psychologist like Darren also confuses in this sad story. What can I do for them now to not let anyone hurt once again? “ Eric thought
Darren depressively walks inside his room as he saw a folder and a small note on the table. But he ignored it. Throw himself on the bed as his whole body feels weak. Tired, headache, and some regret all over his head and slowly everything went black…..he blacks out.
Taeyeon side:
As she made it out of the hospital. Her feet stopped her in track as it reminds her that if she steps any further…..she will lose her dream and will end up in deep pain. But her choice still remains as one. Look at the hospital with a sad smile….she told herself
“ Breath Taeyeon….you have to and need to. This pain….you need to feel it with her the one that she is feeling right now. “
Taeyeon took out her phone and decided to call her manager.
“ Hello Taeyeon ! “ after a few rings her manager picked up
“ Hi Oppa ! “ she greeted back
“ What can I do for you ? “ he asked
“ I will go for a long time vacation ! Please take care ! “ after that Taeyeon turned off her phone.
Looking at the hospital the last time. Sobbing and crying….but she still managed to say
“ Jung Sooyeon…...wish you happiness…..and…..goodbye ! “

So Taeyeon chose to let Jessica go....not giving up on her ! 5 chapters to go
