"Minji! Wake up, you're going to be late for school!"

Minji heard Mrs. Kang yelling from downstairs. She covered both of her ears with her pillow as she didn't want to accept the fact that she had school for the first time since summer. After a whole 5 minutes of hesitating, Minji gave up and decided to wake up. She sat on her bed, her eyebrows furrowed. Why does school exist? She groaned and forced herself to wash up and change.

As soon as she was done washing and dressing up, she grabbed her backpack and closed her bedroom door before heading downstairs. Surprisingly, she saw Changkyun sitting at the kitchen counter whilst conversing with her mother. With a confused face, she walked in the kitchen and was greeted by her parents and Changkyun.

"Why didn't you tell me you were coming?" Minji whispered as she took a seat next to Changkyun. "It wasn't planned, my mum had to leave early out of a sudden." He shrugged his shoulders as he took a bite from the toast which Minji assumed her mother made. Then, she remembered something. However, Mrs. Kang said it first before she could even.

"Look at you two, you started your first year of elementary together and now you're ending your highschool year together as well." Okay, scratch the first part. What Minji wanted to say was the last one. She was a senior, she was close to graduating!

Minji rolled her eyes, but agreed eventually. After breakfast, Mrs. Kang offered to drive them to school, but as usual they turned down the offer and went by foot instead. The whole time they were walking, Minji wanted to tell Changkyun about her and Wonho getting back together but she kept delaying it. Eventually, she didn't manage to tell him because they have reached the school.

Minji greeted her friends with a hug and some high-pitched squealing as they walked to the gym. Chaeyoung had her right foot bandaged because of the incident at the ice rink. Luckily, her foot wasn't fractured, it was a minor tissue injury. Jungyeon on the other hand, wouldn't stop teasing her. Both of them had to hold her as she walked slowly.

"For how long again do you have to wear this?" Minji asked as she wasn't really there, listening to the doctor when they took Chaeyoung to the hospital. "Another week or so." Chaeyoung answered and the three of them took a seat at the bleachers with the injured one in the middle. "Great, a whole week of suffering." Jungyeon commented and ended up getting a hit from the middle one.

After a welcome speech from the headmaster, the students were told to go to their classes and sadly, Minji had to separate with her two friends as they took different courses. Minji was done with her books and
