School went by normally, Chaeyoung had finally removed her bandage after two weeks because of her minor injury which turned out to be major after she and Jungyeon decided to race to class. Hyungwon was starting to become his normal self again, which was both a relief and a whole lot of stress for Minji. However, Changkyun was slightly distant from her, she could feel it.

Ever since she told him that Wonho and her got back together, he was being a little distant from her. Minji then shook the thought off as she assumed he was busy with his studies, he was a science student after all. It was already autumn, her favourite season of all. It wasn't too cold and it wasn't hot as well, it was a perfect season. A romantic season.

"Hey hey~ Look, it's the birthday girl."

Minji greeted Jungyeon as soon as she spotted her from afar by the lockers. "Yeah, it's me." Jungyeon proudly exclaimed and the two girls hugged each other. "Alright, where are my presents?" the celebrated girl immediately asked as soon as they broke the hug. Minji rolled her eyes at how blunt her friends could be sometimes, like seriously.

"Later, okay?" Minji said and the two girls walked to their classes. Strangely, Jungyeon was left alone today as Chaeyoung called sick. It had only been a few days since she removed her cast, now she fell sick. Just how weak she was. Jungyeon suggested that they visited her, as Chaeyoung told her she had her presents with her but couldn't give them today since she was ill.

Minji kept the birthday girl accompanied the whole day as she was feeling quite lonely in class. She received birthday wishes from some people and she kept bragging about it. Well, it was the same when it was Minji's and Chaeyoung's birthday. They just love to annoy each other. It was a surprise that theh could stand each other and stay as friends.

"Alright, I'll see you at 7" Jungyeon reminded Minji as the two parted ways when they reached the school's gate. Minji nodded and waved at the short-haired girl as she continued walking home. They planned to head to Chaeyoung's house for dinner and celebrate Jungyeon's birthday a little. Normally, they would do it at the mall but it was different this time.

Minji continued walking alone in the cool weather, it was a nice scenery. The leaves were turning brown, ready to fall. As she was walking, she noticed another person in front of her. She recognised the backpack, it was her neighbour's. "Changkyun!" Minji called for him and the named male turned around as he stopped on his tracks.

"Hey Minji." he greeted her, but something was missing in his voice. She wasn't sure what, but she knew there was something different than how he always called her name. "Hi, it's been a week since we last walk to and back from school together, no?" Minji said as the two walked side by side and entered their residence. The scenery there was quite nice as well, in autumn.

"I've been busy and I didn't want you to wait for me." Changkyun said, but he didn't look at her like he usually do, he stared down instead. "For a second there, I thought I did something wrong. You seemed to be distant." Minji purposely said. She said it in a playful tone, indicating she didn't want a fight but she felt as if she needed to tell him that.
